Siks: I was a snowbird, but if you look on my profile page you will see why I moved. Lol!

Phoenix: A bit more north young man. I lived in North Carolina for 10 years, but recently moved to Virginia. The summers are still hot, but bearable. In both places, I live(d) in the piedmont area--sort of central to the state. I have access to the mountains and ocean with only a short drive.

Now that you know my age (sort of) and my location, what's next?

I mean, there's getting to know you as a person and not just a pin point on a map. Haha. I'm just often good at guessing. I was honestly gonna say north carolina, but for some reason my brain told me to go a little more south.

We looked in SC first, but it was just too darn hot in the summers. I wanted to live in the country and my husband wanted to be within an hour of a large city. We compromised, but I am still a country girl at heart! (Which is odd since I grew up in the suburbs of the big city of Detroit.)

Edit--I am not very good at guessing...lol...I have no real sense for it. I like things that are concrete.

I like a concrete absolution as well, but without it I am pretty good at guessing the outcome. It's a good skill to guesstimate what's going to happen or where something is.

I've lived in New Jersey my whole life. As a whole, it's not as bad as everyone thinks. It has bad areas, but everywhere does.

I am a very stubborn and determined individual. I will work on something until I figure it out--even to the point of disassembling it.

I am very nomadic--typically every 8-10 years I move. I'm hoping I have finally outgrown this habit.

All this chat has made me thirsty--I'm making us some drinks!
