"Please. Call me Alessia. That is my name that friends are allowed to call me. While we may not be friends right now, hopefully with the peace of our people something may change." She said with a bow before moving behind Sabel. "Like I said, stand awfully still. Orion, can you please make the necessary adjustments to her suit so that it gives off the same beacon as me and Helena." There was a brief ding in response and the suit took control of her arms and hands as it set about making some adjustments to the suit.

It took about ten minutes before it finished making the adjustments and it dinged again. "Thank you, Orion." Alessia then walked over to the front of Sabel giving her a quick look up and down using Orions technology. "Good, looks like everything is working correctly. We did have to weaken the integrity of your suit slightly in order to get the beacon working correctly, however, my scanner shows that your suit is holding up though." It was then that Alessia picked up the signal sound.

She looked at the sky. "Perfect timing, the ship just appeared." It couldn't yet be seen due to its altitude in the cloud before a sound came through. It was the sound of the jet engines being used. Above them, the ship could be seen slowly lowering down to the ground. "A VTOL, Vertical Take Off and Landing. An experimental troop carrier." It landed on the ground and the spot the engines were pointing at made the snow directly under the engines quickly start to get more liquid. The back of the VTOL opened up as the bay doors slid down onto the ground to allow those to walk onto it. Standing at the entrance was a very angry agent, obviously wearing the armor of Etmere, Agent 1. Behind him were black suits that quickly went down the ramp and onto the ground to form a circle around the area keeping an eye out for enemies.

Etmere then started walking down the ramp. It was obvious that his current wound was still bothering him for he was wearing a heavier version of the agent armor as it was allowing him to move despite his injury. He walked over to Alessia and got down on one knee. "I'm sorry, commander, that you were captured. We are prepared to track using the experimental trackers. Please forgive me for my insolence." Alessia smiled under the helmet and got down on one knee. "Are you sure you should be up and about Agent 1? Your wound isn't healed yet. What would your daughter think if something happened to you? You're the only family member she has left."

Agent 1 shook his head. "She has more than just me. You are her family, the agents are her family. We all raise her and take care of her." Alessia audibly sighed. "It is fine Etmere. Let us stand." He nodded and they both stood up. He then looked at the other two. "No doubt the VTOL has attracted the attention of the wildlife. We must all get on the ship. Then... We will discuss why Helena has been crossed from the storage drives and who this other person is. No doubt another rebel..."

"Calm yourself. I know better than anyone your pain. Let's all get on the ship and then you'll need to sit down. You're not going to like what it is you're about to hear." Alessia looked to Helena and Sabel and led them onto the VTOL. She led them to a part of the ship that was an actual room. It had a small table with some chairs around it for vips. The other soldiers all filed onto the VTOL before the bay doors rose back up to the entrance of the ship and sealed off it's back.

As the ship started to start its flight, Alessia sat down in one of the chairs at the table. She allowed her suit's helmet to undo itself and slide back into her armor. It then revealed her black eye to Etmere who quickly grabbed some medical supplies to tend to her eye. After a minute or two, the bruise quickly started to disappear from what Etmere had sprayed onto her eye before he sat down. "Thank you. Now as for what happened. It came to my awareness that I would not be able to convert Helena over to our side. It was then that I thought of a new idea. I decided that war would no longer be cost-effective for each side. By the end of the war, it would not matter who would have won, for there would be nothing left for the ruler to rule over. With this in mind, I decided peace would be the best idea. For now, the rebels have agreed to a temporary peace with us while we establish a more permanent deal. Right now we are to share the necessary data to show them that what I spoke about is indeed happening. Namely, projects mechanized warfare, mechanized production, and biodome relocation. With these in place, the plan is to show them that we do in fact have the technology capable of building a dome farther to the south with correct protection and needed resources and facilities. As for the mechanized production and warfare projects. Part of the deal is that as people wish to leave to find a possible better life we send them to the south. Of course, they were worried about what happens when we lose too many people to do the lower jobs. That were those two projects come in. To show them that we are already in the process of taking care of those problems. As for why the two of them are here. They are to be the diplomats. Obviously, you know Helena. Ex-Agent 0. Her... friend... here is named Sabel. Daughter of one of the council members of the rebels. I suggested her as one of the diplomats and apparently when the council agreed to having a diplomat she fought for the right to be it."

While Alessia adjusted Sabel’s suit Helena stood watching but not saying anything. She also kept an eye on everything around them. The other rebels had left so they didn’t really have a perimeter now. Nathan had given her a rifle which was now slung across the front of her with her left hand resting on the hand grip ready to shoot anything that came their way. She also had her pistols and sword hooked onto her belt. When the plane landed Helena was glad her helmet covered the look of surprise on her face. The plane was impressive though she didn’t want Alessia to see that. Etmere walking out of it surprised her even more. She wouldn’t have expected him to be out in the field what with his wound and all. She clucked her tongue when he bowed before Alessia, thinking the display sickening. She wasn’t some queen she had read about in history books and didn’t deserve that sort of respect. Sabel on the other hand just seemed more puzzled than anything. You didn’t really have celebrities in the rebel hide outs. Even the council members didn’t stand out much. They were just another resident. “I wouldn’t trust her around children.” Helena said, recalling how Alessia had treated her niece. Sabel just sent her a strange look, “I’ll explain later, let’s just say I would never allow her or any of her thugs to babysit.”

They headed into the plane where one of the agents gestured to a weapons rack in the hanger. Both Helena and Sabel stowed their rifles. Helena stopped Sabel when started to put her pistol on the weapons rack. She didn’t like the idea of being on the plane unarmed not knowing what Alessia would do. Helena still couldn’t trust Alessia that she wanted to work with the rebel. This all could be a ruse to get out of captivity. That left Sabel with a hunting knife and pistol while Helena had a pair of pistols plus her sword. In the next room over they sat at the table removing their helmets as well. Etmere after tending to Alessia’s wound slid the first aid kit over to Helena leaving her to tend to her own wound. She ignored the spray but reached for a bottle of pain killers, popping to into her mouth and swallowing them down with some water that was on the table. Helena wouldn’t take supplies from the rebels but the wealthy of the domes had more than they needed, rarely sharing them with the people who needed them most. Alessia was telling Etmere about the deal she had struck with the council, but Helena was half heartily listening. Until Alessia introduced Sabel as a friend of Helena and a diplomat. “More like hostage.” Helena mumbled under her breath getting nudged by Sabel who stood up reaching for the first aid kit.

Sabel took the spray from the first aid kit spraying a little of it on Helena’s eye not even bothering to ask permission. Next she grabbed a gel from the kit and put some of it on Helena’s split lip tending to her wounds much like Etmere did to Alessia. Looking at the two of them Etmere must have been wondering what happened between Helena and Alessia. Sabel had been shocked when Helena just lunged at the heiress and started attacking her. She couldn’t really blame Helena after Alessia had pretty much attacked her.

Etmere could tell that something had happened between Alessia and Helena. Partially by the language Alessia was using. It was not his place to ask though and knew that everything would be told later down the line when Alessia deemed it was needed. For now he looked to the woman called Sabel. "Diplomat ay? Well it is nice to meet you. At least that is what I would like to say. While it is not my decision though, it should be made aware that I have little faith in this peace deal if Alessia was returned in a slightly damaged state. However, because we are temporarily at peace I'll treat you with the same level of respect that I treat any diplomat." He looked to Alessia with permission to keep speaking and she simply nodded at him.

He pressed a button on the table turning it into a screen for now. As a diplomat you will receive the ability to access basic levels of the tower building. This gives you access to the same facilities as a noble, but instead of being at the bottom of the tower you'll be a few levels from the top. When it comes to access information, you'll be able to access any public information. As for the confidential information that is treated on a case by case basis. You'll have access to the information that was deemed necessary in the deal. While Sabel, you'll have diplomatic access to move about the tower as you wish. There are certain areas you can't access, nor can you leave the tower unless you have an agent with you. After all, your safety is of our greatest concern while you are in the city. Not only that, but while you have a body guard with you, she does not have the same access level as you. Meaning that she can go into areas with you, but she can not enter the areas on her own. As well if she is found to be alone in a restricted area, she is subject to being punished by our laws."

Alessia held up her hand at that. "Normally that is the case, but this is an extreme circumstance. We won't punish her but we will expect you to punish her and keep her on a short leash. It's like my agent said, the city is dangerous. Mainly because the city is divided. There is still two companies in control of the city. While you have peace with Aeroff, that is strictly with Aeroff. The other company will still choose to fight rebels and more than likely, a war between my company and theirs will break out soon due to this decision. Because of this, the chance of spies or assassins from other companies will be high soon." There was a ding over the intercom as the pilot spoke. "Dome in sight. Beginning landing procedures. Make sure you are buckled in, the landing catch system in the top of the dome is still experimental." Alessia and Etmere both made sure they were securely in their seats.

Alessia then went to speak again. "Now that we have informed you up some of the status and areas you'll be able to access, on to the next matter. In order to better understand you as a person Sabel, I wish the chance to meet with you privately. Without the influence of either of our guards. It will be hard to strike better deals in the future if we know nothing of each other. All I know of you is what Orion has observed about you." She looked to Helena for a moment. "As well as observing how other people act and react around you as well. Likewise, most of what people know about me is the information that comes with being an enemy. I hope that unlike Helena, you'll be more willing to meet, talk, and learn about who I actually am now that we're not enemies. Of course, I'm sure Helena would protect but she could stay in the room next door with Etmere, watching us with cameras in order to make sure that I don't do anything funny." She said with a smile watching Sabel carefully. As she watched her, Etmere watched Helena, ready to move if she did.

“She's lucky she was only slightly damaged.” Helena grumbled, as she listened to Etmere drone on about the rules. Much the same as they were when she was a agent. One of the easiest ways to control people was to restrict their movement. She looked over to Sabel who didn't say anything but didn't look to be pleased at Helena's actions. Sabel really wanted diplomacy to work and Helena wasn't helping the matter. Still she knew the chances of changing Helena's mind were low. The former soldier could be very stubborn. The best Sabel could hope for was to tame Helena's interactions a little. Helena glanced over to Etmere seeing the glare on his face. “My doing not the rebels. If you want to do something about it later we can. Just you and I but I hardly think it a fair fight. Least until you heal up a little more. But idle threats aside an Aeroff escort won't be needed. I can handle Sabel's safety.”

Both Helena and Sabel buckled in feeling the plane shake as it started to land. Sabel's hands griped the arms of her chair. Flying wasn't something she had ever done and hearing about experimental technology didn't put her at ease. Trying not to focus on falling out of the sky she looked back to the others. “I have to agree with Helena that an escort won't be needed. She is familiar with the city and knows how it works. I trust her to keep me safe.” Sabel said, looking back to Helena thinking it might put her at ease by giving her this small win. She trusted Helena and knew that she could keep her safe. “I am a guest aren't and I not a prisoner?” Sabel wanted to trust that Alessia had the best intentions but she wasn't sure. Helena didn't trust Alessia and usually a good judge of character.

“I look forward to the our meeting once we get back on the ground. I have to attempt I am looking forward to seeing the dome I have heard so much about.” Sabel said, feeling Helena reach over and take her hand. She looked down at it glad for the little bit of comfort.

Alessia looked at the two of them thinking for a moment. "Okay, we won't have any escorts. Would it be too much of me to ask though if I kept a drone watching anytime you leave the building? I assure you, it's out of concern for Helena. When we make people agents, certain things happen. In most cases, agents are proclaimed dead to allow them better stealth. However, there are unique cases. Etmere, for example, was proclaimed to be an experimental soldier to the public in order to allow him to move through the public with ease. Helena was another unique exception. We informed the public that we had taken her and that she was going to become another experimental soldier. To say the least, the public wanted her head on a platter. So when in public we wish to have the drone both to protect the two of you from the public and to protect the public from Helena." The shaking and the moving of the plane suddenly stopped and a voice came over the intercom.

"Catch complete. If you would like to look out the window you'll see the catching mechanism as well as the dome since we're still outside." Etmere pressed a few buttons and the side of the wall became see-through, showing the outside of the plane. The view showed a large mechanical factory arm like thing holding onto the plane. It was coming from would only be seen like a hanger near the top of the dome. From the outside, someone couldn't see into the dome due to the reflective plating to protect the people on the inside from radiation. Slowly it could be seen the arm was compacting and pulling the plane into the hanger. Once they got close to the hanger the wall went back to normal.

Alessia saw the unsure look on Sabel's face and decided to speak up. "Don't worry. All experimental tech is sufficiently tested before I use it myself. The only reason we still call all of this experimental is that this isn't the final product. We use the catcher system right now in order to assist in the landing of the plane. Eventually, we will do away with it however, it serves as a reliable way to land more than one type of plane. For example, this is simply a recon and landing plane. Can carry a smaller amount of troops while staying silent in the air and hidden from the eye using experimental cloaking."

Sabel looked to Helena at the suggestion of a drone following them. She knew Helena wouldn't like it but concessions had to be made. Sending her glance back to Alessia and nodded. The plane started to land and the side of the ship opened giving a view of the top of the dome. Helena had seen it from the outside many times but she had never seen it from above. It was quite a view though Helena didn't want to admit it impressed her. These domes had come to be a symbol of everything she was fighting against. She didn't want to think of it as beautiful. Sabel on the other hand had an apparent look of amazement on her face. It was the first time she had ever seen the domes. “Good to know you are here then. God knows what you would let others suffer for to make sure everything is safe for you. The greater good and all that.” Helena said, the sarcasm dripping from her voice.

She didn't wait to see if Alessia had a response, granted the woman always had an answer that made perfect sense to her and no one else. Helena stood up from the table walking to the door of the craft with Sabel following right behind her. She was met there by several guards standing before a weapons rack. Unlike when she boarded the plane she knew she would not be able to take her guns into domes. They were projectile weapons and very dangerous inside the dome. Without being prompted Helena took her rifle and pistols placing them in the rack. She gestured for Sabel to do the same thing. The guard motioned for her sword but Helena shook her head, starting to walk again.

Etmere looked like he was ready to attack Helena but Alessia put her hand on his should in order to calm him. Once they left the room to get ready to leave, Alessia looked at Etmere. "This is our best chance. If we continue to fight the rebels we will win but the cost will not be worth it. For now, their leaders have agreed to go with the dome plan." Etmere looked at her before looking away. "You're giving them more liberties than we give most diplomats. I trust it's to help keep them in line?" Alessia nodded before standing up from her seat. "We have to show them that we mean peace. The other domes will eventually fall into line with my rule, but their domes are going to be separate from us. Independent of us." She then stood up from her location and started to move out with Etmere following behind her.

She saw that Helena wished to keep her sword, Alessia raised a hand to the guard to motion to him that it was okay. Alessia moved to follow Helena and Sabel before speaking up to them as the last part of the plane door opened revealing the inside of the hanger. It was expansive and it had a wide variety of different planes in it. Some were obviously still under construction as they were missing walls or had engineers fusing stuff to them, while others looked to be complete with no one working on them. "If you'll please follow me, Sabel. From this hanger, we'll have to take a smaller helicopter to the landing pad on the central tower of my district. This hanger is built into the roof of the dome and as such isn't connected to the rest of the dome. The only way in and out of it is by helicopter. Because of that the workers work and live at this hanger. It has its separate entertainment building, barracks, mess hall, the works." Alessia talked as she walked, leading the way past workers, crates, larger vehicles carrying large tubes of metal, among crates that had missiles sticking out of them. "Don't worry about the weapons, they're not to be used against you. I had told Helena this but the device may have deleted the information. My goal is to unite the current domes under one leader in order to promote a better living for all as well as better sharing of resources. Some domes are ready to join under my rule peacefully while others... Others wish to fight because they insist that I should follow all women kind and cook and clean." Alessia reached what looked like a metal wall. Etmere walked over to it and put his wrist near a small metal seam of which a scanner popped out and scanned his wrist. After a second the wall beeped and the wall split to reveal a walkway that was hanging from the ceiling over the large open area of the dome underneath. It was connected to a circular platform and Alessia walked out tot he platform which was holding a helicopter on it. "Watch your step, we're high enough up that the environmental system won't cause wind up here but I would hate for someone to trip and fall to their death." She said in an amused tone as she reached the Helicopter. Etmere got into the pilot seat with Alessia opening the passenger door for her guests.

“Slave quarters.” Helena spoke quietly to Sabel when Alessia mentioned the workers being forced to live on the level they worked. She led them to the helicopters which would take them to ground level. The machines made her uncomfortable, she had seen too many of the crash when they had been used to travel outside the domes. With the unusual weather patterns it wasn’t uncommon for one to go down. Fortunately Helena had never been in one that crashed but she knew most didn’t survive. Still they were inside now and didn’t have to worry about winds forcing them out of the sky. Once they sat down she made sure they were both buckled in. Alessia and Etmere sat across from them. The flight only took a few minutes to reach the Aeroff headquarters and they landed on the roof of the building. From there they were met by a number of guards who escorted them to an elevator.

A short ride down and they were in Alessia’s office, Sabel entered while Helenaand Etmere were guided into a conference room next to it. There were several monitors on the wall and after a little fiddling Etmere had it turned on to Alessia’s office. Helena wasn’t happy about leaving Sabel alone in there but she knew Sabel could take care of herself and she was only a room away.

Alessia watched as Helena and Etmere left the room, leaving her and Sabel alone finally. "Finally, some alone time. Its hard nowadays to find time with someone who isn't actively seeking to kill me or protect me. Of course, I can understand the reason Helena has ill-will toward me. I am the leader of an organization preparing for a war of unity." Alessia motioned for Sabel to sit down and Alessia chose the seat opposite of her. "There are things that must be done if we are going to make this peace work. First is I'll have to call a conference of control. Essentially, I'll be calling people who work like your council. They're my advisors, they give me reports on how things are doing. All in all, I have six advisors. They oversee offensive scientific progress, defensive scientific progress, quality of life scientific progress, the economy, population control, as well as special operations. Out of the get-go, I can tell you that most them will have no problem with this deal. The only one we might have a problem with is special operations. You've already met the leader of my special operations, Etmere. You could say that Etmere is the same to me, as Helena is to you. She doesn't trust us and probably never will. Etmere doesn't trust the rebels and probably never will. His wife was killed by rebel agents in front of his daughter, as well as suffering some life critical wounds. However, his loyalty to me is absolute so the most we will hear from him is his opinion. When you meet everyone the primary advisors you'll be working with, besides me that is, are the ones in control of the population, quality of life, and defensive war. The three of them all work on different areas of the current domes and are the ones responsible for designing the new version two dome that we will be building for your people. Power, water, farms, buildings... weapons... They're the designers and engineers, the best you'll find in any of the domes." After she finished speaking she pressed a button and a robot came into the room with two glasses of water. Alessia motioned to it. "Water, fresh. Not poisoned." Alessia took a drink from it before the robot refilled her glass.

"After you meet everyone, we come into the second step. Domes are unique and are tailored to the owner. I know it may sound very dictatorial, but as the representative of your people, you effectively will be making decisions for everyone under your faction. How many farms your dome has, how many water recyclers, power generators, defensive turrets, residential buildings, industrial buildings, relaxation buildings, everything. Of course, to help you with the design of your dome, we will be providing you access to our virtual room where you can see the size of the dome on a hologram. In that dome, you can put buildings in, take buildings out, see how the needs of electricity, food, water, and everything change based on what you choose to equip your dome with. The only part you won't be able to remove is an embassy and the transportation building that will house the train."

“War of unity? Isn't that a oxymoron?” Sabel said, thinking about Alyssa's plans to unite the domes through force. She could see why Helena was against the heiress' ideas. It was what had led the rebels to fight against her. Ruling people through fear worked for a while until finally the people had enough and fought back. The thoughts of the rebel leaders were to leave and let Alyssa destroy herself. With their own domes they would be able to stand on their own without her influence. Though Sabel had to agree with Helena's doubts of Alyssa really planning to let them be out of her rule. She already was getting ideas of where to place the embassy and train station. Her plan was to have it be an off shoot of the dome. Somewhere they could close it off should they wish to sever ties with Alyssa. A branched off section with a long corridor that could be shut off or even destroyed. It was a good fell safe and with the designs of the dome being placed on her she could install it and others. One of the council members who had doubts about the deal had instructed in to find ways for them to break ties if things went bad.

“I am no engineer though I might need to bring in a few of our people to assist me.” Sabel said, “I trust yours are capable however we would know what would be best for our people.”
