"Please. Call me Alessia. That is my name that friends are allowed to call me. While we may not be friends right now, hopefully with the peace of our people something may change." She said with a bow before moving behind Sabel. "Like I said, stand awfully still. Orion, can you please make the necessary adjustments to her suit so that it gives off the same beacon as me and Helena." There was a brief ding in response and the suit took control of her arms and hands as it set about making some adjustments to the suit.
It took about ten minutes before it finished making the adjustments and it dinged again. "Thank you, Orion." Alessia then walked over to the front of Sabel giving her a quick look up and down using Orions technology. "Good, looks like everything is working correctly. We did have to weaken the integrity of your suit slightly in order to get the beacon working correctly, however, my scanner shows that your suit is holding up though." It was then that Alessia picked up the signal sound.
She looked at the sky. "Perfect timing, the ship just appeared." It couldn't yet be seen due to its altitude in the cloud before a sound came through. It was the sound of the jet engines being used. Above them, the ship could be seen slowly lowering down to the ground. "A VTOL, Vertical Take Off and Landing. An experimental troop carrier." It landed on the ground and the spot the engines were pointing at made the snow directly under the engines quickly start to get more liquid. The back of the VTOL opened up as the bay doors slid down onto the ground to allow those to walk onto it. Standing at the entrance was a very angry agent, obviously wearing the armor of Etmere, Agent 1. Behind him were black suits that quickly went down the ramp and onto the ground to form a circle around the area keeping an eye out for enemies.
Etmere then started walking down the ramp. It was obvious that his current wound was still bothering him for he was wearing a heavier version of the agent armor as it was allowing him to move despite his injury. He walked over to Alessia and got down on one knee. "I'm sorry, commander, that you were captured. We are prepared to track using the experimental trackers. Please forgive me for my insolence." Alessia smiled under the helmet and got down on one knee. "Are you sure you should be up and about Agent 1? Your wound isn't healed yet. What would your daughter think if something happened to you? You're the only family member she has left."
Agent 1 shook his head. "She has more than just me. You are her family, the agents are her family. We all raise her and take care of her." Alessia audibly sighed. "It is fine Etmere. Let us stand." He nodded and they both stood up. He then looked at the other two. "No doubt the VTOL has attracted the attention of the wildlife. We must all get on the ship. Then... We will discuss why Helena has been crossed from the storage drives and who this other person is. No doubt another rebel..."
"Calm yourself. I know better than anyone your pain. Let's all get on the ship and then you'll need to sit down. You're not going to like what it is you're about to hear." Alessia looked to Helena and Sabel and led them onto the VTOL. She led them to a part of the ship that was an actual room. It had a small table with some chairs around it for vips. The other soldiers all filed onto the VTOL before the bay doors rose back up to the entrance of the ship and sealed off it's back.
As the ship started to start its flight, Alessia sat down in one of the chairs at the table. She allowed her suit's helmet to undo itself and slide back into her armor. It then revealed her black eye to Etmere who quickly grabbed some medical supplies to tend to her eye. After a minute or two, the bruise quickly started to disappear from what Etmere had sprayed onto her eye before he sat down. "Thank you. Now as for what happened. It came to my awareness that I would not be able to convert Helena over to our side. It was then that I thought of a new idea. I decided that war would no longer be cost-effective for each side. By the end of the war, it would not matter who would have won, for there would be nothing left for the ruler to rule over. With this in mind, I decided peace would be the best idea. For now, the rebels have agreed to a temporary peace with us while we establish a more permanent deal. Right now we are to share the necessary data to show them that what I spoke about is indeed happening. Namely, projects mechanized warfare, mechanized production, and biodome relocation. With these in place, the plan is to show them that we do in fact have the technology capable of building a dome farther to the south with correct protection and needed resources and facilities. As for the mechanized production and warfare projects. Part of the deal is that as people wish to leave to find a possible better life we send them to the south. Of course, they were worried about what happens when we lose too many people to do the lower jobs. That were those two projects come in. To show them that we are already in the process of taking care of those problems. As for why the two of them are here. They are to be the diplomats. Obviously, you know Helena. Ex-Agent 0. Her... friend... here is named Sabel. Daughter of one of the council members of the rebels. I suggested her as one of the diplomats and apparently when the council agreed to having a diplomat she fought for the right to be it."
