Then personally, Id go to the farmers market, go to the cafe, see a movie, binge watch tv in my undies, and pc game with a box of cookies and a gallon of sweet tea. I'd live in my leggings and a t shirt the entire week and not shower. And in between all these things I would sleep such a sleep....

The Green Rider books. They were a little grown-up for me, but I loved the stories.

A dragon, because then I could fly it anywhere I wanted, plus not many people would mess with me because...well, dragon.

That, or a Phoenix. They would be awesome too if only for their beauty.

If Brain Uploading technology became a thing and there was none of those dilemmas like "Are you just a copy? A digital approximation?" and so on, how would you react? What would you do with your new digital existence if you took the offer? I hope it's ok this was a two-parter.

A. Granted there was a fail-safe for the existence as a digital-consciousness potentially being unbearable, I would certainly consider it. I would want more information on being able to upgrade hardware or software which directly effect (perhaps even affect) the experience of said consciousness and the capacities it would possess, and try to maximize the potential for clarity. This is already assuming that memory itself would be less of a problem, as it could, in theory, all be stored and accessed on various hard drives or w/e. I would also like to have more information on what could be done with this consciousness, such as being put into a sort of surrogate by which sense experience would still be accessible, and I hope, experienced much in the same way the human body would experience it artificial as it may be.

If all of that checks out, I would spend a lot of time using my heightened capacity for memory and clarity learning all of the subjects I find interest in and inevitably intend to learn a vast majority of subjects available to me altogehter - all while taking the time to leave the digital interface to refresh my sense experience.

However, lacking either of those two things, I would probably not take the offer.

Q. If you could add a sense experience that humans are not known to possess, what might that phenomenon/experience be?

The ability to sense otherworldly entities, such as ghosts, poltergeists, demons, etc. (If they exist.)


If you were given an opportunity to go on an alien spaceship, would you? And, why? (The Twilight Zone episode, 'To Serve Man' comes to mind when I ask this question.)
