After spending a good bit of time in the evening taking care of his young bride and empowering his amulet in order to properly suit her as a husband, Gregor woke up to an extremely pleasant experience. Eventually, he found himself holding his bride in his arms, feeling a great deal closer and more comfortable in her presence, admiring her beautiful form openly.

Listening to her words, he gave a slight sigh. "I suppose..." he remarked. "Tempting though it may be to spend all day in bed with you, we should also make an appearance for the sake of the wedding guests. Besides... I don't think you got a very good look at the palace yesterday." Dressing himself, he gazed at the princess, wondering what sort of attire she'd be wearing for the day. He allowed her to get dressed and wrapped an arm around her waist, squeezing her close to him. "The closer we appear, the more satisfying it will be to those who see us," he used as his excuse to let the girl cuddle against him as they walked.

Amilia couldn't help but laugh softly at the man's little sigh, giving his chest the lightest of pats. "I feel like everyone would appreciate seeing us around together, anyway," she murmured, reluctantly moving to her own feet. She was glad that their room had been provided clothes for the two, so she had a few options of dresses to put on. She picked out a light colored blue one, hoping that it showed her elegance, and also her power. She wanted the Empire's people to know she was just as worthy as a leader to them as she was one of the dragons.

She approached Gregor once she was dressed, not hesitating to tuck herself against his side with a pleased sigh. His words made her smile, and she tucked her cheek against his shoulder as they made their way out of the little building. "They'll like that we're getting along so well. It's promising," she murmured, lifting a hand to lace her fingers with his.

Gregor wasn't very knowledgeable when it came to fashion, but he had to admit that his young bride looked almost as good in her blue dress as she looked out of it. Then again, she was also the kind of beauty that would look good in anything. Once she had properly dressed herself and attached herself to her side, he squeezed her hand tenderly, leaning over to give her a tender kiss on the cheek.

"Well then," he remarked, "Let's go say hello to people." He caressed the amulet around his neck as he began to lead her out of the room. Considering how... energetic she had been, he was pretty confident that the amulet had enough energy for him to assume a dragon shape for a short time. The effects would only increase, of course, the longer they were together to power it up further, but it was definitely a good start.

Making his way past two girls wearing the ceremonial armor of the Imperial Guard, he couldn't help but notice the fact that the two were giggling and blushing. How much had they heard? How long had they been posted outside the honeymoon suite? "Morning," he gave a friendly greeting to the two as he passed. Once he was out of earshot, he squeezed Amelia a bit closer. "I'm not sure how you feel about Homunculae," he remarked, "But I prefer to treat them like people. Not many people do."

He was referring, of course, to the alchemical process by which the girls of the Imperial Guard had been created by the Emperor. Though they appeared to be young women in their mid to late teens, they were in fact much younger, having been created through artificial means rather than natural ones.

Amelia almost hadn't noticed the two girls, and if it hadn't been for their little giggles, she probably would have walked past them without a second glance. Though the realization that they had possibly been heard during their little...antics, made the princess begin to blush. Yet she still gave a polite smile when Gregor greeted them, offering a small 'hello' of her own. She didn't maintain eye contact for long though, slightly embarrassed by the thought of them hearing everything that had gone on the night before.

Her thoughts were quickly brushed away when Gregor spoke though, and Amelia peeked over her shoulder at the two girls. "They look like any other person I've ever seen. I don't feel the need to treat them otherwise," she decided, blinking up at Gregor now. The princess wasn't used to looking down at people, unless of course they had committed some sort of crime or inexcusable action. Otherwise, she tried to treat each person fair, so long as they remained respectful as well.

The princess remained close to Gregor, her light colored eyes looking through the Empire as they walked. "Where are we going?" she asked, blinking up at her husband. She wasn't sure if he had a place in mind for them to go, or if the two of them were expected to make an appearance somewhere.

Noting the way his young wife blushed and avoided eye contact with the guard girls who looked a bit younger than her in physical age, the knight smirked slightly. Leaning in, he kissed her cheek softly. "You're really cute when you blush," he whispered into her ear. "It makes me want you more... so let's eagerly wait for when we can be alone again."

He stroked her hair softly as she showed no such prejudice towards the artificial life forms. He supposed that to her, most two-legged creatures looked fairly similar... although many of the homunculae in particular had non-human characteristics. He noted one with angelic wings to signify she was one of the highly honored guards, while another had elf. Not just the guards, but the maids too were artificial life forms... he saw one with cat ears, and another with bunny ears, and a third, tiny one flying around with fairy wings.

"I agree," he said with a nod. He was glad that his new wife was able to accept them as people so easily, when so many humans had prejudices against them. Thinking over her question, he shrugged. "Well, I suppose you probably didn't see all that much of the city on your way in," he remarked. "Though I imagine the view from the sky was quite impressive." The Imperial City in which the palace was located hovered high above the surface of the world, built on an earth mote in the clouds. While it wasn't much of a challenge for the dragons to land on the island, considering they had their own designated landing area, humans had to rely on airships in order to reach the city, which were becoming increasingly common in the Empire due to necessity. "Where would you like to go?" he asked the princess, gazing at her beautiful face.

The light hue to Amelia’s cheeks only darkened when Gregor whispered to her, his words sending a pleasant tingle down her spine. She did press a bit closer to the male, tucking his face against his shoulder. “You make it difficult to want to leave the bedroom,” she muttered, breathing a soft laugh as the two of them walked along. Her gaze moved around to look through the people that they passed, and took her time to take in the sights of all the homunculae. The sights of them actually make her smile, actually enjoying their unique appearances. The Empire has such a vast number of people that looked different from each other. It was fascinating.

As Gregor began to speak again, the princess lifted her gaze to look up at him as he did. She nodded her head to confirm, remembering that she hadn’t gotten a good look at the Empire during the flight in. She had been much too concerned about how the wedding ceremony would go...and what her husband was going to be like. Now she realized those worries had been unnecessary, and she was pleased with how things turned out.

When asked where she wanted to go, the princess began to look around again. “Do you have any family?” she asked suddenly, giving one of his hands a squeeze. It was obvious that he had met her father at one point before yesterday, and she thought it would be respectful to pay his family a visit. That is...if he still had some remaining.

Enjoying the blush on the face of the beautiful princess, Gregor held on to her a bit closer. "So do you," he remarked, gazing at her for a time as he began to walk her around the garden. She actually seemed to enjoy the sight of the unique guard and servant girls... all of them beautiful, but all with distinct features that made them seem like a canvas for a master painter. The Emperor saw no need to make any of them look normal or average, after all, sculpting their designs to be works of art. Though it was the gold dragons that were said to be the big art collectors, it seemed the silvers appreciated art almost as much.

At his question, it seemed like Amelia was thinking about something. As she asked her question, however, he froze for a moment... surprised that she had asked. He gave it some thought before giving a bit of a nod. "I suppose I do..." he remarked. "Or they might as well be, at least." Squeezing her around the waist he approached an Imperial guard with angelic wings who was sitting next to a maid with fox ears and a fluffy tail.

"Mandy," he said, "Chloe. This is Amelia... she wanted to meet my family."

Both of the girls seemed to beam with delight at these words, with expressions of innocent bliss on their faces. Then they both randomly hugged Amelia from both sides. "Big Brother is a great guy," the fox-eared girl Chloe said. "We're super glad that you're both getting along so well!"

Gregor knew that this would likely require some degree of explaining... but for the time being, he figured he'd let the three girls get to know each other a bit while he stood by Amelia's side.

Amelia briefly regretted her question about Gregor's family, as she couldn't quite read his expression once the words left her lips. She hoped she hadn't crossed some sort of sensitive subject. She only wanted to meet those that were important to him. She hoped to see a bit more of the life he had prior to their marriage. When he finally did respond to her, she relaxed significantly at the realization that he did have a family of some kind. Though his word choice made her curious, and she silently followed his guidance.

She slowed her steps as they approached the two guards, finally realizing why Gregor had asked on her thoughts of the guards. It seemed as though he considered these two as some part of his family, and the realization made the princess smile. She was glad he had some people that he cared for, even if they may not have been blood related.

As Gregor introduced her to the two girls, she was surprised to be met with two hugs, both at the same time. She blinked down at the two girls, a soft laugh falling from her lips. "Yes, yes. He seems like a wonderful man. I'm so pleased to have him, and to get to meet the two of you," she chuckled, laying a hand against each of the girl's backs. She glanced from them to Gregor, a bright smile still on her lips. She was curious about why these two girls were considered Gregor's family, but she knew it would be best to wait and ask after they parted from the two.

Gregor saw no reason why his young bride should regret her question... after all, she merely wanted to know more about him, and obviously meant no malice by her question. Indeed, she had been nothing but wonderful to him so far... as if she was the perfect bride to begin with. He had no regrets to speak of when it came to his decision to accept her hand.

He watched as the younger girls fawned over her, chuckling somewhat. They began to give her a barrage of questions. "What's it like being so old?" "How does walking on four legs compare to two?" "Is it fun to fly?" "Of course it's fun to fly!" "Do you breathe fire?" "No, silly, silver dragons breathe frost!" Gregor simply chuckled, noting that several other servants noted this display and approached. Before long, Emilia was soon surrounded by homunculae of all different appearance.

"Slow down, girls," he said to them, "You're not giving Amelia a chance to respond!"

"Sorry, big brother," said one of them, "But we're all so excited to have a new friend!" It didn't seem like she'd be able to escape them any time soon, so he tried to think of some sort of excuse to pull her away. However, nothing in particular was coming to him at the moment. He counted no less than a half dozen of the girls already, asking her all sorts of girly questions regarding fashion, hair styling, and other things which he didn't have much particular interest in himself, but which the girls considered extremely important.

Amelia could only laugh at the questions being thrown her way, not even attempting to respond to most of them, since more would just follow before she had the chance. However, for any question that just required a 'yes' or 'no,' she would at least nod or shake her head accordingly. She was actually quite enjoying the attention of the two girls, finding them sweet and quite funny as well. But before she knew it, the number of girls started to multiply, and a small group had gathered around her. Though she was briefly embarrassed by all the attention, the princess was actually happy that all the girls seemed to interested by her.

She glanced towards Gregor as the amount of girls continued to grow, and there was a wide smile on her face. She didn't have any siblings, and though she had gotten to work with some of the younger dragons before, she still didn't have much experience with younger people. This was new to her, but she quite enjoyed it.

"Alright, alright. If I promise to come spend time with all of you later, would it be alright if I go off with your brother? We have very important things to get done today," the princess eventually spoke up over the questions, another little laugh falling from her lips. She would be more than happy to spend more time with the girls, and answer as many of their questions as she could, but she also knew that she and Gregor needed to greet more people.
