This RP is crazy. Maybe just crazy enough to work.

Now I feel like I have to pick Pink - with a strokable goatee and a British accent, of course, because the spoiler-knowing amnesiac is totally the killer. *Adjusts tinfoil hat*

So I can stop myself from meta-gaming, do the characters know about their powers prior to arrival, or are they explained in the letter, or do they have to figure them out as they go? Likewise do they know their own weakness? And lastly, do they know the other people's powers?

Of course! I wouldn't expect it to be any different.

As for the powers; you wouldn't really know about them right away. You'll notice little things as you go on. For example, since you're playing pink you wouldn't get to know a secret PM's until after everyone has found their letters. But, since the letter is from you in the future then you could tell yourself everything you want to know. You can put anything in that letter. It just has to be from you. So if you want them to know about their weakness then make sure it's in the letter and if you don't then they'll figuring it out as they go.

Edit: That's up to the player and the character. Like, if Red knows where something came from they might pick up on it. But, blue would most certainly have everyone know once they used their power.

Hmm...that could be interesting. I'm going to have to think about what hints Future!Pink actually WOULD put in the letter, since he's presumably lost some of his memories along the way!

Is it up to you exactly what the weakness affects (in Pink's case, which memories he loses) each time it's invoked, or is that up to us as well?

It's both. I will have random points where weaknesses trigger the most, but you are welcome to have it go into effect over time as well.

Okay. To keep things interesting I'll have Future!Pink warn about some of the other characters' powers, but not all of them (on the assumption that he's forgotten some).

Would it break the game to have Future!Pink urge his past self to write everything down?
