Still waiting for that picture of finished installation.

Also is there something weird about shooting alien robots?

In space, alien robots shoot you!

Love the building, it's a fun design. Been wondering about that program! Love the mural too.

@Dnafein, I meeeeean, I've barely played the old fashioned types of video games... so to just be thrown into a combat zone in a virtual reality one was a bit... overwhelming bahaha. I was just sitting there moving my digital hands for the longest time. (And in the building render I was hopping up on top of the desks hahahaha)

As for the graphic installation, I wasn't able to get a good photo. But they're on my computer at work. I'll look on Monday.

Well thanks, @Enigma (on behalf of Paul's team)! This building was a job won by a proposal from another team in my firm, and mostly the brain child of their director, Paul. They're now passing off the next stage to my team (Conor's team), though.

My firm has ten teams in it, with an entire staff of about 200 people, each with about 20 per team.

    Here you go, @Dnafein.

Shitty photo of installed mural, as requested looool.

    Spoiler: Shitty mural photo

Google is really weird about people visiting their buildings (and of photos being taken), so I snapped this really quickly. But it's the mural in the Googler's music room

Here is the image of the wall constructed, before the finishes were applied. Yerrrrr.

    Spoiler: Construction period

    A reception desk I designed

I also (essentially) designed that logo... sigh.

Basically I gave this client a concept I drew, and they pretty much took my exact concept and made their logo from it... I am not a graphic designer, but they got a two-for-one this time

    * This project was a conservation project I was given. The building was built in 1763, a Georgian building. This is its new look - I'll post before pictures eventually. The CEO of this company was a prick, but the project itself was rewarding, because I learned a *lot* about conserving historic buildings.

A mirror I designed that I am quite proud of for this same building. It is simple, but beautiful.

This 1700s iron metal work on the exterior facade inspired its design, when I went on site and looked around.

    It was simple, linear geometry.

So I drew a very large mirror for above the fireplace.

I picked a material. I liked French Eglomise glass, because it read as less of a mirror, and more of an art piece.

It's fun seeing concepts in your head become a physical reality.

The artist is from England - he sent me this photo when it was completed / boxed / about to be shipped.

(His name is Stuart Fox. He is an incredibly talented artist.)

A photo I took after it was just installed !
