Ghard chuckled saying: "I guess not, well let them enjoy the messy house then ones they find it." He followed Serenity then tilted his head saying: "Her new friend? Honestly when has she ever befriended a human so I can't quite understand who you are talking about, unless it's that strange acting mysterious assassin guy I don't trust at all but then again haven't really met anyone in this town." He left the house with her then watched the magic go away as she removed it then the travel towards the forest started again. He followed the larger demon and glanced at the three kids saying: "Seems like it's only the oldest that has bloodties with the man we killed earlier, the other two have a different father and it's pretty clear with their appearance... perhaps adopted?" He started looking around after they got there. "Alright I am on guard, just need to send her a quick message about what happened and what we found... I am sure she would be pleased knowing there are three and not just one." Ghard said and glanced around before using the portal to send a quick message, after that he started to guard the area but didn't exspect much to happen tonight at all.

Serenity watched him leave to guard the area before Serenity started to form the cage with her magic. Four trees that were around her turned into demonic like trees as they appeared to be made out of brimstone and fire. The four trees moved as well to form a medium sized room with windows and a door. Serenity deposited the kids in the room before closing the door and locking it. She climbed on top of the cage and stayed crouched on top of it as she started to rest and let her demonic influence creep over the area around her. The grass turned to a blood red color and the trees in the area that her demonic friend watched over, turned into brimstone trees, effectively marking the small part of the forest they were in as their territory to make the mortals stay clear of it.

Alessia mused over the thought of what had transpired at the town per the report of Ghard. "Oh Serenity, you and Ghard just love to leave trouble for me." She said to herself. The body of the man she had eaten from has since been taken and transported to one of the nearby towns to alert the people there. Right now Alessia stood in part of the forest, her demonic form in full view. "I should go and check and the blood donor." She said in amusement to herself.

She quickly used her magic to put on the form of the human before moving to head to the house where Jonathan lived. Upon arriving, instead of knocking on the door she used her magic to create a hole in the wall to enter the house, before making the hole disappear as the wall went back to normal. Her senses were telling her that he was still asleep and she moved to his kitchen. She pulled some normal food ingredients from a portal and started to make some food for the sleeping man.

Ghard watched the area soon marked by Serenity and he remains on guard while walking around the area and keeping an eye out for whoever dared to be stupid enough to enter in. The hell hound made his way around the place throughout the night and day until their master would tell them to stop.

Jonathan was still asleep in his room, tired after that large bloodloss earlier and honestly he hasn't felt as bad as this in quite some time. Soon he woke up hearing movement in the kitchen causing him to grab a close by knife and sneak over unaware it was only Alessia making food, his past assasin showing again when he was suddenly behind her with the knife close to her neck but as soon as he realized it was her he took a step back and sighs lowering the knife while he said: "Damn Alessia, hasn't anyone ever told you not to sneak into the houses of assasins?" He placed down the knife before he said: "Knocking helps, I would have at least worn something then." He shook his head making his way back to the door wanting to go get dressed not planning on walking around in his underwear with a guest in the house. He stopped however and frowns a little saying: "Question before I go, what are you even doing here making food? I thought you had your demon butler for that." He couldn't help but chuckled a bit seeing her like that.

"So you finally admit to being the assassin I was hunting. One step down means that other things can unfurl because of it. As for why I am cooking it's because my demon butler is currently out establishing a food line for me. At least, he is one of the demons I have out procuring food for me. The capital normally sends me specialized food to my headquarters and then I harvest what I need for the mission I am on. Though it usually results in me harvesting while I am on a mission as well anyways." She continued making the food before using some magic to help cook some of it.

"Consider this food a thank you though. You gave me blood, which was enough to allow me to do what it was that I needed to do to recover the lost energy. When my house gets made, I'll probably get monthly deliveries from the capital with questionable cargo. As a guard, it will be important that you don't let anyone else find out what is in the cargo. As well, we should start to see a decrease in crime in this town. I doubt the organized crime group will be forcing anyone here to do anything now that I've dealt with them. Which reminds me of something else I'll need you to care of. Keep the townspeople out of the forest. Even your fellow guardsmen should stay out of the forest. During the day it's not safe but not dangerous. During the night though, it becomes much more dangerous."

Jonathan leans against the door listening to her then said: "I didn't quite admit anything, even so you already know what I was so there is no point in hiding it." He then tilted his head saying: "Alright so the food, well basically dead human parts will be arriving here soon for you I am guessing?" He then quickly slips towards the room right next to the kitchen while still listening to her. He puts on his pants then grabbed his short while walking back to the kitchen putting it on and said: "A thank you? I can't see why you need to thank me just because I gave you blood." Frowning a bit he leans back against the wall while saying: "Well the house you are building will most likely take about three days towards a week for all the guards to build and unlike you most here doesn't have the help of magic." He smirks before he said: "Oh please, I doubt anyone here would even dare look at strange cargo but hay I am always looking for a reason to fight so why not, I'll protect your boxes not that anyone would pay any mind to it."

"We have been using the forest for training, honestly why would you now say the forest is dangerous? Have you some something with your demons again?" Jonathan asked tilting his head before he heard a knock on his door then groans saying: "I feel like crap and more people seems to want to join the party." He walked over and opened it, the man outside was one of the guards and He was out of breath most likely from running and soon said: "S-Sir! W-We have a problem! It seems like the Tomson family was a-attacked by something last night!." Jonathan sighs saying: "Why? Isn't Mr.Tomson still alway on his travels to the city for work... Do you know what might have attacked?" The guard just shook his head saying: "Don't know something large I think, Mrs.Tomson's body is scattered nearly through the entire house! I can't find their kids and I am pretty sure Mr.Tomson comes back next week if he even makes it here alive, I swear it must be some type of curse!" Jonathan nods and said: I'll come by later, oh but stay here, don't go looking for anyone missing." The guard quickly bows and then ran off again while Jonathan closed the door saying: "You might as well start exsplaining."

She had finished what it was that she was cooking and quickly put it on a plate, moving it to the side to Jonathan. "Even if I did explain, would it matter? What is done is done. The only way to know what happened is to go take a look at the scene and investigate. Though the forest is certainly more dangerous because of me, it's more so for the safety of the people that the forest is dangerous. Though training the guards in the forest would certainly improve them much quicker now that is for sure."

She walked over to him amused before moving to the front door. "My pets are certainly troublemakers that's for sure, looking for any excuse to create a mess for me to clean up. Not to say that they created this mess. Could have been some wild beast. Hard to tell without looking at the scene. Good idea though telling the guard not to investigate. If the children are missing, it might be better than we look at the scene before wasting resources to find kids that may not be alive anymore." Seeing that there was enough room in the house for her to do it, she opened a portal and out came a larger version of the hellhound that Jonathan had brought her. "Don't worry, this isn't the same one you brought me. They don't grow that quickly thankfully." She then crouched down and patted the top of its center head. "My demons did go hunting last night and did, in fact, take some territory in the forest to prepare the land magically for my house. Demon magic while powerful takes into account a lot of different factors. How strong its caster is, how much life energy they have, age, how healthy they are, how... in tune... they are with their true form, as well as the land they are on. The unholy and holy land is some of the most powerful lands when it comes to power in our spells due to the stronger connection to the other realms. When it comes to teaching demonic magic, the factor of the land you are on is even more important. When I cast demonic magic, in town, it uses more life energy because the ground I am on is fairly disconnected from the other realm. Which means I have to spend more energy to make the connection to the realm of the demons. Now, I can handle that fine. I have a large pool of energy, I'm healthy, fully in tune with my true form, among other things. However, if I try to teach someone who is young and doesn't have the experience I have, the holy and unholy land is much easier to learn on since they don't have to use as much of their own energy to cast spells and connect to the demon realm. So I had some hunter demons do their job, hunt for a source of food and for a prime location in the forest to slowly weaken. While the area is weakened it'll be obvious. Once the house is built the area that was chosen will look like normal, maybe even better than when it started." She leaned forward to whisper into the dog's ear. 'Tell Serenity that I got her present and that I'll stop by later to have a chat.'

The pup barked in response before disappearing into a portal. She then turned her attention back to Jonathan. "Of course you don't have to remember any of this. I am just informing you since you have an interest in Samuel and Samuel has an interest in Lily. I take my responsibilities seriously, and she is now one of my responsibilities. Now, are you ready to escort me to the scene Jonathan? I am in charge after all." She said with a sly smile.

Jonathan sighs saying: "Playing the most investigate card now? It's not hard knowing it was something you have been doing, your a mage and a demon one at that will eyes all over the place and you think I would believe some wild beast would have gotten in?" He shook his head and make his way over towards the table sitting down and eating the food then said: "Honestly I also know your so called pets won't just go attack people unless you told them to, I have seen how obedient they are, also I won't tell them to investigate when I know there might just be traps around putting them in danger, as soon as they find out it was something you have done they also will have a rather big disliking towards you to the point they might even seek your life." He quickly finished the food then got up and took the plate towards the sink while still listening to her, he placed the plate in the sink then said: "I see... Well it would be better for Lily if you say so, I know not much about these things anyway but I get the idea, you should just keep in mind they are just kids who don't always know reality to well so you best not have her kill something or someone until she is older or until she can actually handle it."

He made his way back towards the door and grabbed his knife placing it on the holder at his side before he opened it again letting her leave first while he said: "Yes let's go miss in charge, towards a scene you most likely are responsible for." He just chuckled before leaving the house and said: "You can be real funny at times Alissia, guess it's actually even cute when you act like an innocent kid." Jonathan made his way over towards the house that from outside looked fine however after opening the door there was blood and a body scattered over the place who by now started leaving a rather rotting small behind. He sighs and entered in saying: "I still hate getting dirty."

"You are right about one thing. My pets will kill when I tell them to kill. They won't kill something that I told them to keep alive. Demons, like people though, are wily creatures. If I am not clear on how to deal with a certain situation they will deal with it in whatever way they please." As she looked over the outside and the inside of the house she could see that her demons did a good job. No trace or marks from her hunting squad. They were the leader and second in command for a reason. Though no trace of anything also meant that she couldn't blame it on an animal.

"I have some experience in what I am doing to Lily. I went through a different crucible than she will go through, but she wouldn't be the first one to have been taken an apprentice. Demon mages come in two forms, The Unholy and the Unlucky. I am what is called an Unholy, born with the curse of their magic. In order to make sure that others like myself have the knowledge in the future to be trained correctly we take on apprentices to pass down our knowledge. The Unlucky. They practice the minor version of our knowledge while keeping the major versions in the tomes we write to pass down to other Unholys that are found. Of course, we often take more than one apprentice, in case the first one dies before they can pass on the information. Lily will be the first in the line of Unluckys when it comes to what I train."

Jonathan looks over at her saying: "Well then why don't you exsplain, you did send out your demons to kill a family but for what reason Alissia? The Tomson are a peaceful family minding their own business anyway, the only time they did get in trouble was when Mrs. Tomson got raped by one of the larger trouble makers here and ended up pregnant because of it, the middle child called Yoma was also kidnapped a lot by her actual father but taken back each time, her husband goes traveling for money often and that is where he went again and will return in a few days time... The other two daughters are his." He walked over towards Alessia then suddenly placed a finger on her forehead saying: "You should honestly start using this before you go around killing and kidnapping innocent people, it's also going to be your responsibility to tell Mr. Thomas what happened to his pregnant wife and missing daughters, you are going to have to clean up your own messes general."

Soon he walks back towards the messy bloody areas in the house then said: "Well I am guessing Lily isn't your first Unlucky, sounds like you do know a thing of two... I won't go digging where I shouldn't, anyway I'll get this cleaned up for you before the town starts suspecting their new leader for killing people." He groans saying: "But next time can you please make sure it's not this messy, I'll need to even clean the roof just to get rid of this smell." Suddenly he heard some people outside and walked over seeing a few curious souls wanting to see what happened. Some played as eye witnessed making up a bunch of stories while some weeped and others wanted to go out playing heros. "This is the only thing I hate about small towns." Jonathan said ten chased them off before he started cleaning the house while he said: "And no I am not for hiring to clean up your mess so you better not get any ideas."

"Normally there isn't a mess. Like I said, if I am not clear then they do what they want. Normally they use a special kind of spell to destroy all evidence in a fire. As for Mr. Thomas, he is of little concern to me. An innocent pregnant wife is of little concern to me. I am protecting this region from an unknown threat for an unknown amount of time. Put my own plan, my own war, on hold for farmers." She walked over to the dead body parts and touched different ones.

"I'm guessing I am not gonna be allowed to keep any of this. The husband will probably want to bury what parts are left of his wife." She moved around more of the house looking around. "I do think on every decision though. I weigh how likely the chances are that I'll need to salt the region because of my decisions, how likely a decision is to advance my goal, and how likely it'll protect my lineage. My goal carries the most importance, then my lineage, and then avoiding salting the region. While these chain of events hold nothing when it comes to my goal, they do serve to greatly increase the protection of my lineage. Just like the master assassin trains the next one to take his name, I must train the next general now that I am a part of the royal army. The agents of the throne have a set number of agents, only increasing the number as the land of the kingdom grows. My mentor who rescued me trained me and sent me to the school of magic. I didn't understand why at the time. Even as I went into the military and joined special operations I could never figure out who he was. Any information about him was buried so deep it was untouchable. Until someone in the royal army contacted me about joining the agents. Join them and get any information that exists about him. Imagine my surprise when I join only to find the position I was filling was his as he was retiring."
