But just call me Yoe, that should be simple enough...
AGE
20
(I might make her younger however depending on where the story sort of goes?)
PLACE OF ORIGIN
Yorelis is (proudly) Yoruban and was born in Nigeria. However, it seems through less than amicable circumstances, the girl fled to Spain at a young age, before further bolting to England.
SPECIES
Yorelis is a Witch.
BLOOD STATUS
Yoe is a first generation half blood.
WIZARDING TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Yoe was trained by her Mother while she remained in Nigeria. Her Mother, being a remarkable Witch(?) was able to teach her daughter a relatively extensive range of magic in addition to a few more regional skills.
PATRONUS
Yorelis' Patronus is a Cheetah.
MAGIC SPECIALTIES
Yoe has a wonderful knack for disappearing, in each and every which way. It's rumoured the girl is either a Animagis or Metamorphmagus, possibly even both. But whatever she is, Yorelis is a pro at fading into her surroundings and adapting and concealing herself into each and every new environment.
WAND
Yoe has a Vine wand, made with a Dragons Heartstring and crafted by her own Mother.
OTHER WEAPONS
Yorelis claims (emphasis on the claims part there) to be currently unarmed save for her wand. However, she is known to be capable at defending herself with weaponry if cause for conflict does arise.
APPEARANCE
Spoiler: Yorelis Del Bosque
Yoe is a tall lithe creature, with long slim elegant looking limbs. Almost ethereal like in her very semblance. The girl is dark skinned, though not purely so, if that makes sense. That is to say, it can be easily assumed from her skin tone that the girl is of mixed heritage. Her hair seems to be as wild and untamed as her soul, sprouting out and around in a magnificent mane of sorts. But it's the features that really grab your attention. She's pretty enough I suppose, but something un-place-able and distinct simply draws you into her. People find that they either can't take their eyes off of her, or to look at her brings about one of the most uncomfortable and uneasy sensations they've ever felt. To summarise, Yoe's physical appearance seems about as enigmatic and perplexing as the girl herself.
BRIEF HISTORY
It was Yoe's Mother that was the Witch. Well, 'Witch' in a loose term of the word I suppose.
Mama Oya was, and is, a being of mystical surreptitious origins. In Yoruba, the name Oya literally means "She Tore". She is known as Ọya-Iyansan – the "mother of nine."A Woman capable of remarkable magics, yet still human enough to be tempted by a passing stranger. And a Muggle no less too.
Yorelis was definitely a surprise, but a welcomed one.
Mama Oya raised her daughter in the remote regions of Nigeria's wilderness, intent on keeping her daughter safe from suspecting muggles. But a child's curiosity can be difficult to contain. Around the age of nine, Yoe wandered free of her Mothers watchful eye and purposefully sought out a Muggle village. The girl hiked for nine days through yet unclaimed jungle, until eventually she stumbled upon a small close-knit hamlet.
The Men of the village regarded the girl with an aura of expecting caution, however the Women felt a natural inclination to embrace and accept Yoe into the community. It was simply assumed the girl was a lost orphaned child. The young Yorelis wondered why her Mother did not venture out to bring her home, why she did not even try to reclaim her youngest child. But Mama Oya would not set foot near such a place. The Women watched her babe drift away with a heavy heart, and Yoe often recalls knowing her Mothers presence to be nearby during her time within the village.
But alas, she was never redeemed by her Mother.
And, of course, it didn't take too long for the inevitable to happen. All she did was start a fire. And not even in a particularly destructive manner either. A Hunter struggled to light a flame in some rainier weather. So Yoe simply did the job for him. Bad move. Yorelis was rejected, cast out and hurt in ways a child that young should never have to experience. But such is the way of the world.
Yoe left the village and sought refuge in the jungle once more. She spent a year of recovery in those familiar wilds before even stepping near another muggle settlement again. The girl knew very well the risks of going near such places, but now she was Motherless, a ever growing urge to be accepted flourished within her.
In time she learned. How to behave and when, what to do and why. And more importantly, how to disappear when the time called for it. Yorelis never wanted to be subjected to or experience what had happened with that first village ever again. And so she vowed to herself to learn all she could about the greater intricacies of magic, so that then, nobody could ever find or harm her again. No matter what they thought of her.
This determination to study eventually caused her to leave her beloved homeland. Initially, the girl travelled North, before curving and making a general bee-line through Europe. The girl learned and studied any magical resource she could get her hands upon. The fountain of knowledge itself couldn't quench this girls thirst it would seem.
Yoe still travels to this day, and has become quite the talented young Witch. Although there is always room for more of course. She never really settles in one place, however she does have a home in Spain in some vague unspecified location for some vague unspecified reason. When questioned about it she'll be reluctant to answer in truth.
Currently the Girl has her sights upon England. For she has heard rumours of the possibility of a Magical centre of learning becoming a reality. And if that doesn't have Yorelis' name all over it then I don't know what does.
OTHER NOTES
(Since this is so relatively early at least for the HP timeline, I have made a few creative choices I guess? Hope that's ok, but if it's not fitting for this or what have you, just let me know )

The last mosquito that bit me had to check into the Betty Ford clinic
Ooh, this is interesting!
If you could just elaborate a bit more on how she managed to travel from Nigeria to Spain and then England, as well as what (if anything) she did there, I'll be more than happy to accept her.
Excellent; consider yourself accepted!
I’ll add the profile as soon as I can get to a proper computer. There may also be a few possible arrangements that we could discuss over PM’s, but for now, welcome aboard!
As for this thread, unless anyone has anything else they would like to suggest plot-wise, I’ll see if I can get an IC thread up by next week at the latest.
I’ve been thinking over whether or not to require CS’s for the founders for quite some time, and since not much info on their lives is available as is, I think CS’s for them would be a good idea. All I would ask is that whatever you include in the CS should be as consistent with the Harry Potter canon as possible (wiki links available upon request), but aside from that, feel free to be as creative as you’d like.
Will Hogwarts be a concept/idea in the Founder's minds when we start and they just haven't had the plans drawn up/the castle built yet? Or will it be before anyone even has the idea?
