@Fox :: I’ve had some time to think that over in between a recently heavy schedule IRL, and I think for now it could start with how things were prior to Hogwarts being founded (e.g. young wizards being unable to learn magic or how to properly control their abilities without the risk of being caught, Britain as a whole descending into chaos due to improperly controlled magic and wizards not being adequately trained in the use of magic, etc.), and then over time the events of the RP lead up to Hogwarts being founded as a means to resolve these problems in Britain’s wizarding communities.

@Zee :: Most likely not all of them; I imagine this RP might end shortly after Hogwarts has been formally established as the primary wizarding school in Britain, and then perhaps a sequel might focus on Salazar Slytherin’s eventual falling out with the other founders.

Now I have a question for everyone regarding the founders, specifically their ages at the time of this RP. Should they be about the same ages as their Universal Studios portraits (see the picture in the OP), or would you prefer to make them a bit younger or older at the start of this RP?

Well those portraits are probably from around the time of the Founding, so maybe a touch younger? I know Rowena Ravenclaw had a daughter before Hogwarts was founded (she was one of the first students).

I just looked it up, and you’re right; Helena Ravenclaw was indeed one of the first Hogwarts students. While there’s no mention of either Rowena or Helena’s exact ages, that would make Helena at least 10 or 11 by the time Hogwarts was founded, if that helps for you to estimate Rowena’s age. I’ll most likely set Helga’s age approximately close to what you choose, and Griff and Zee can likewise choose ‘current’ ages for Godric and Salazar accordingly.

Okay. I'll make an assumption about Rowena's age at the time of Founding and lower her age just a bit. Let's say she's 50 when Hogwarts is founded. Sound about right?

I was thinking of making Ravenclaw be about 30 when her daughter is born and stuff. So mid-late 30's would work yeah
