Default [PG-13] Trennan Academy for the Enhanced (IC)

    9:00 AM, September 9th, 2052
    Inkom, California

Outside the grand building that is Trennan Academy for the Enhanced stood a large group of young adults, from different places in the world, all gathered together for a purpose. Every single one of them had their own reasons for being there, but they all shared a common fact: they were all Enhanced. Whether they were there to learn to control their abilities, try to get rid of them, or something else, they would all eventually learn something about their abilities.

No less than a dozen older men and women exited the Academy into the front courtyard where the large group of new arrivals were, though there was a woman who stood out from the group. She was taller than most of the others with her, but she didn't look much older than the young adults. She had long auburn hair that flowed in the September breeze. Her skin was pale and her eyes were a dark red. The woman stepped away from her group towards the young adults.

"Please, allow me to be the first to officially welcome you all to Trennan Academy for the Enhanced!" Her voice grabbed the attention of everyone in the courtyard, and nearly immediately all eyes would be on her. "My name is Belinda Littmann, and I am one of two headmasters here." If any of the new students did their research on superheroes, they would recognize her by her alter ego Vampiress, said to be one of the best superheroes in Frozen Ace's team.

The woman took a few more steps closer to the large group of young adults. "Eighty-Seven. Eighty-Seven new students this year. That is the highest number of new students this academy has had in one year. It may be overwhelming to be with so many Enhanced in one place, but in time you will get used to it." She walked back to her small group and returned her gaze to the students. "If you would, we shall begin our tour of the academy now."

And with that, the Headmaster lead the students into the academy. Upon entrance they were met with the Hall of Heroes, a room with many pictures of heroes who were long gone. Of most interest were two statues, both winged, one a little over six feet tall, one nearly eight feet tall. The Headmaster explained that they were Brandon and Jason Trennan, twin brothers, also known as Frozen Ace and Dark Abyss. Jason, the younger and taller brother, was believed to have died in the mission to free the Enhanced many years ago, but he survived and somewhere down the line his mind was corrupted, and his only goal was to kill his older brother. They both died in what is now known as the Battle of Heroes.

As the tour continued, the Students were shown a large gym that could easily hold at least a couple hundred people, several of the large classrooms, and a spacious courtyard behind the academy. They were also shown a large cafeteria that could no doubt hold all students at the academy, a medical room staffed with a doctor and a few nurses, with a brief stop at the male and female dorms, which were on opposite ends of the academy. The tour ended in the courtyard behind the academy.

Headmaster Littmann addressed the students again, but this time with a man next to her side whom the students hadn't seen yet. "This is Cordell Kortez, the other Headmaster here, and he would like to say a few words." She stepped aside to let him have all the focus of the students. This man looked about the same age as the other headmaster, but he was more formal in his attire.

"May I have Abigail Bartlett come up here?" He spoke, and in a short moment one of the students walked up to him. "This," He presented the young lady to her peers, "is the daughter of Frozen Ace, and to honor him through her being here, we have decided to try to make this the best year for this academy. Which is why all of your tuition's have been fully payed for, and anything you need for this to be a pleasant experience shall be provided to you, within reason.

And with that, Headmaster Kortez walked away, returning the focus to Headmaster Littmann. She went on to explain to the students that they were free to roam the academy for the rest of the day, and that they would receive a notebook containing room assignments, academy rules, and schedules, all they'd have to do is check-in at a desk that would be in the back courtyard after lunch.
The current time was 11:00 AM.

    Noise
    So much noise
    So many...people.
I feel like I'm going to suffocate.

Rays of the sun blinded the girl with violet hair as she stepped out of the large crown and stood towards the back. Being in a sea of people made her nervous beyond belief and did not help her social anxiety at all. Although she had stood out a bit with her unnatural hair color and her different assortments of jewelry she still found it hard to socialize. but this year she told herself that she would try and break out of her introvertness. That for once in her life she would actually make a friend. The girl with violet hair took deep breaths trying to calm herself down. The one thing that helped was being able to breath fresh air, to be out in the open.

"Octavia get yourself together, you're just embarrassing yourself."

A voice pierced the crowd catching her attention from the sea of people. One of the head mistresses that ran the academy. Belinda Littmann, the Vampiress. Octavia's eyes lit up as she saw this beautiful woman address herself. As a girl Octavia had read about her and the rest of Frozen Ace's team. What a idol she was. Somebody Octavia would love to become. She carried confidence and such poise. Something Octavia could only wish to have, but nonetheless was a complete mess. But atleast the girl was trying her best. She listened intently as they had given a tour of the school to the newcomers. Gazing upon the hall of hero's she looked at all of these hero's that made a different in everyone's lives. It was truly a sight to see.

"These people really don't kid around when it comes to honoring the fallen."
The rest of the tour was a blur to Octavia as she spent most of the time looking at the outside of the academy. This was to be the rest of her life for now. Although she was not complaining, it was better than being kept against your will. All that this girl yearned for was to relax and sit down. Once they finally reached the end of the tour she breathed a sigh of relief before the next headmaster had began to talk. But to her surprise he had introduced a student. The daughter of Frozen Ace.

"He had a daughter? And she's going here? makes sense."

Octavia had become slightly discouraged. That girls father was one of the most famous Hero's of all time, and where did she come from? An isolated basement in the middle of nowhere in the cold of Russia. She was a nobody compared to this girl. Octavia only shrugged it off as she sighed looking to the side, she was used to it. All Octavia wanted to do was to fly around the school and check it out for herself. Which spot would be the best stargazing spot. Once the headmasters had dismissed them Octavia waited for the crowd to disperse before moving around. Stretching her limbs she let out a slight grown before talking to herself.

    "Well that was trip."

Octavia's slight Russian accent was apparent but her Irish accent also stood out more since she had spent the majority of her social life around people in Ireland. She pronounced things very differently than the others. Octavia moved towards a grassy area to relax in and take in the nature. As she sat down she kept herself afloat so she wouldn't dirty her pants. But made it look like she was sitting on the grass. Letting out a deep breath she gazed around her taking everything in.

"So this is to be my home for the next few years. How exciting."

Octavia laugh to herself as she felt the grass beneath her hands. She slightly bobbed up and down as she kept herself floating whilst sitting close to the ground. Nature had been her comforter after she escaped her prison. Looking at the others she watched people beginning to make friends and getting acquainted with each other. She let off a small smile before turning her head away and letting her Violet hair flow in the wind. The sun warmed her skin and helped her to feel relaxed. Her head no longer felt pressured.

"What a year this will be..."

Natasha Bakhvalova sighed. During the tour, she hung in the back, hands in the pockets of a lightweight traveler's vest despite the warmth. It helped to hide that she was clenching them.

She also tried to keep as much distance as she could between her and any of the boys. At Coal Hill, they called her the "Ice Princess" and worse behind her back - and she knew who it was calling her that. How many of her former classmates would want to see her now? Instead of confidence, she was afraid - and she didn't like that at all.

It wasn't just the abuse she suffered in the warehouse. Every night the same nightmare, reliving everything....! Leaning back on her left leg, she rubbed her sore, tired right eye, wondering if she'd be able to take a short, dreamless nap following their lunch?

It was the strain of keeping it all inside, knowing at any moment if she dropped her guard, it would be loose again.

Fin was looking up at the headmistress intently the entire time, smiling as she spoke. He had done his research on two individuals who run the academy and he felt it as an honor to be able to see such a legendary hero in person. The Vampiress, he couldn't tell you how many of hi friends back home had pinups of her as their desktop wallpapers. Behind her he could also see Kortez though the man seemed unassuming given his backstory. One thing that surprised him was how young they both looked for being headmasters of the academy, though eternal life and all that does seem to have its perks.

The young man was a bit shocked to learn that this class was the largest the academy would have. To him this didn't seem like an awful lot of people, coming from high schools that had incoming freshmen of at least 200 students, and universities that would double that easily. "Were there really not that many Enhanced in the world? Or maybe they just don't wanna enroll." He thought that either could easily be the case but wasn't sure why anyone wouldn't send their Enhanced child to the academy.

As he looked around he was surprised at the amount of students that looked...normal. Growing up with stories of mutants like the X-Men he had assumed that most Enhanced looked like that. Whenever they popped up on the news they were always transformed in some way, or on the streets that was really the only time you knew someone had powers. But the people around him seemed normal, save for the off hair color here and there. It made Fin feel relieved, he was afraid he would stand out with the lack of rock skin or flaming eyes.

Impressive wouldn't begin to describe what he had felt during his tour of the academy. He had imagined the place would be fancy but it almost functioned like its own city. In fact, it seemed like you could easily live on site without the need to go anywhere, as long as Trennan had the thought to put in a pub. "Wait, can I even drink in America?" He hoped so, though he shuttered at the thought of what some Enhanced would do in a bar fight, and chuckled to himself at what insanity might occur.

"Frozen Ace had a daughter?" As Kortez introduced the young woman she seemed unassuming, but he figured so did Ace back in the day. Could she also control ice? Was she super powerful? Whoever she was she was to thank for him now getting free tuition, something that got a rise out of more students than just him. He immediately sent a text to his parents about the good news if they didn't already know.

When they were set loose Fin was a little lost. He had an hour to kill before getting his room assignment, but what the hell could he do for an hour? Almost on cue his stomach growled loud enough that a couple other students next to him chuckled. "Heh, well, guess that answers that question." Grabbing his bags he made his way to where all of the restaurants were located and hunted for his next meal.

Abigail was feeling surprisingly alright in the middle of the group of her fellow students. She didn't feel anxious, and perhaps that was because no one was paying attention to her. Everyone else was focusing on other things, presumably themselves. Or perhaps the reason she didn't feel anxious was because everyone around her were Enhanced. Being around so many people that were alike was oddly refreshing. For once in her life she didn't feel like a freak.

Abigail was filled with excitement when the group of older people exited the academy. She spent many hours studying the heroes, so she immediately recognized Belinda Littmann. Vampiress. In school Abigail wrote a few papers on this woman alone. She was hoping that sooner or later she'd have the opportunity to sit down with the Headmaster and talk about her experiences as a hero. She would also want to talk about her father, since most believed Vampiress to be the closest to Frozen Ace.

The tour started, and Abigail became even more excited. The first stop was the Hall of Heroes, and it was amazing to her. Seeing pictures of old Heroes that she could recognize, most of which she had written about in school. But the most compelling thing in the room was the two statues. She looked intently at the one of Frozen Ace. Her father. The statue was a foot taller than Abigail, which told her they were life-size. With how much research she did of the heroes, she knew most of what Headmaster Littmann was telling the students, but she still listened closely.

The rest of the tour seemed to go by faster to Abigail, but that was just because she was lost in thought, thinking about the heroes. She started paying attention again when Headmaster Littmann introduced Headmaster Kortez, and suddenly he was calling for her to come to him. Her eyes lit up, and for a second she considered staying where she was, but she was still on auto-pilot, so she casually walked up to the Headmaster. She began to feel anxious as she stood in front of the other students, and it didn't help when the Headmaster introduced her as Frozen Ace's daughter. She certainly didn't want all the attention on her.

In the moment that Headmaster Kortez announced the tuitions were all payed for, Abigail was barely paying attention to him. She was just thinking about how awkward it was that now everyone knew who she was. When Headmaster Kortez redirected the attention to Headmaster Littmann, he also motioned towards Abigail, signaling that she could return to the students. As she did, a few of the students were still focusing on her, and a couple were even trying to talk to her. She just went towards the back of the group and tried to hide her face by looking at the ground.

When the tour was officially over Abigail immediately walked away from the group. A few of the students were still trying to talk to her but she ignored them. She went back inside the academy and found her way to the Hall of Heroes. She sat down at a wall and just looked at the many pictures around her. There were a few older students passing by that exchanged brief pleasantries with her, but since they didn't yet know who she was she felt fine saying "hello" and "good morning" to them.

There, in the middle of the dense pack of bodies shuffling around the campus stood a figure that was more bundles of clothes than a young man. That poor creature was Austin Luther, and he was currently an absolute mess. As mentioned, he was bundled down in clothing, a first layer long sleeve tee, a second layer short sleeve over the long sleeve for extra thickness, and finally a hoodie that looked to be a size or two too large. All of these articles of clothing were a plain black with no lettering or personality to them, but they helped to hide the young man's nervous trembling. The rest of his clothing seemed mostly unremarkable, dark jeans and a pair of sneakers, but when Austin took his hands out of his jean pockets, one would notice that he wore a pair of black gloves. Add a dumpster fire and a bridge for him to stand under and the boy could be mistaken for being a vagabond. Give him a lead pipe, and he could pass for an alleyway mugger. Either way, he certainly didn't look like a student.

The only thing that managed to keep him from turning around and running very far, far away from this crowded place was the music blaring in his earbuds from the iPod in his pocket. He only turned it down when he noticed the headmistress speaking, and even then it was only turned down enough for her voice to be intelligible against the volume of the melody. Once he realized it was a boring welcome speech, the music was turned back up. He recognized her face, the Vampiress or whatever the hell she called herself, Frozen Ace and friends or whatever the hell they called themselves. He didn't really hold them in too high esteem. Sure he was jealous of them, just like many of the freshmen were, but he had entirely different reasons. He envied their powers. They had incredible abilities, gifts even. He would trade with them in a heartbeat. As that thought crossed his mind, he let out a sigh and continued following the crowd along the tour, feeling less like a student and more like a lamb being led to the slaughter.

If Austin was impressed by the Hall of Heroes, he certainly didn't show it. The expression on his face never changed. It was neither sour nor pleasant, neither interested nor underwhelmed. One picture after the other, on and on, memorials to hero after hero culminating to the two life-size statues that brought the whole room together. Austin stood there with an empty expression. Among the oohs and aahs of his peers, the boy said nothing but thought a single thought. 'Do I have more in common with Frozen Ace? Or Dark Abyss?' After several long moments paused in that thought, he tore his emerald orbs' gaze from the statues and pressed onwards yet again eager to be done with this business. The rest of the stops were unimpressive, the gym was convenient, the dorms were sufficient, and the cafeteria was spaciously adequate.

Finally, they arrived at the courtyard, and what Austin sensed was the end of the tour. Once more he proceeded to lower the volume on his music player when the headmistress began introducing her colleague. Austin didn't recognize the man, but he still listened as intently as he had with the Vampiress. When the daughter of Frozen Ace was introduced, Austin perked up a bit. He studied her closely while she stood there. He wondered how much pressure she put on herself to be like her father, or for that matter, how much pressure others placed on her. He also felt a bit of pity for her. Now that it was revealed who she was, she would likely be hounded by the whole mob of freshmen in this godforsaken school. With the big reveal that the tuition was all covered, Austin smiled a little. It was the first smile he had given since he had arrived. It was just a small comfort, but that was at least one out of the many problems he had to solve taken care of. He had enrolled with no real plan or strategy, but at least he didn't have to sell his soul to pay for this stay now.

Now that the tour was finally over, Austin didn't really know what to do with himself. He started off back inside the academy, snagging an apple from the cafeteria for his lunch and then kept on walking further into the Academy hoping to put as much distance between him and the crowd of people as possible. Unfortunately, he found himself back in the Hall of Heroes, and he instantly recognized the girl from out in the courtyard, Frozen Ace's daughter, Abigail something or another. 'Great...she's gonna think I'm following her...' He sighed, knowing that they were face to face now. He didn't say anything. If she was to notice him, he would have her make the first move.

Rubbing his temple as he stood among the crowd of students Crane smiled idly as he listened to the speech given by some of the most famous Heroes in the world. Like many others, the black-haired male admired the likes of Vampiress for they were those that had taken the reigns to restore some sense of order and stability after Enhanced started appearing. People with anomalous abilities only caused cause since the world was unprepared to deal with them. Though this new age had not been without its upsides in his opinion. So many new forms of exotic energy or just possibilities were opened up thanks to the abilities of the Enhanced. At least, that was what one of his professors had said a few years ago. It wasn't that easy in practice.

Eyeing the statues of Heroes Crane mused that it was rare enough for their kind to exist, these many new students was apparently unusual, but even rarer were those that actually became iconic figures like Frozen Ace. Something right out of those old comics. A sign of hope for all of them who just wanted to get a handle on these abilities that could destroy their lives and those of everyone around them if they weren't careful. Most people just remembered how dangerous the Enhanced were, even if things were starting to get better thanks to the efforts of Heroes. Crane only knew his abilities as a pain, something that made him different and isolated him from everyone he had wanted to get close to and nearly bankrupted his parents if it wasn't for the kindness of strangers. But here things should get better.

Dragging himself out of his thoughts as they reached the courtyard Crane was mildly concerned that he had zoned out for most of the tour. But in the end he was sure he could figure out where everything was, they couldn't make things too difficult right? Instead, he watched curiously as the other Headmaster introduced a girl, a daughter of Frozen Sky? Interesting, he supposed. The part of having their tuition paid this year was way more important though, as that had been one of his primary concerns. Whatever reasons they wanted to give for it didn't matter, only that he could lift some of the burdens from his parents. Who knows he might even have a good time here. No one here, well not any of the students, were likely to know of his ability so that meant that he might be able to actually approach some people!

Once the ceremony was over he took the chance to lift his glasses for a moment. For Crane the world was suddenly more and he could see them. The boundaries between all things were beautiful, they were something he could never describe to others. How all concepts met and the spaces between them. How the space within his range was mutable at best, like he was in some sort of waking dream. This was what the world really looked like, no matter what anyone else could say. Looking around at everyone Crane was amazed at how vibrant they all were, nothing like the drab sameness so many normal people had. It was invigorating! Fingers twitching at some unknown urge he wanted to approach the most interesting sights he saw.

The sudden spike of pain driving through his head broke the spell, however, as Crane hurriedly put his lenses back in their place. Hissing at the sudden headache he mused that this was why despite his power having such terrifying potential it was never more than a disability to him. At least it was something he could deal with, he had his medicine ready in his jacket. There was just one problem...he had no idea where anything was thanks to spacing out during the tour. Rooting through his jacket he found he didn't have a water bottle either. Oh, dear...

"Hello! I was kinda wondering if you had any idea where the water fountains are? I, uh, spaced out during the tour..." He ended up cheerily asking the first person that looked alone, or at least like the weren't already talking with someone.

The minutes seemed to pass by slower than Octavia had anticipated. This also pained her since she didn't have much to do until after lunch and pulling out her laptop would seem wasteful since this would be the prime time to actually make some friends. But Octavia was lost in her own thought that she didn't even notice someone had approach her.

"Hello! I was kinda wondering if you had any idea where the water fountains are? I, uh, spaced out during the tour..."

Octavia jumped from her spot as she floated backwards hovering in the air. Floating upwards a bit she looked at the one who had startled her. A boy with raven hair who looked a bit parched, but how could she blame him it was a pretty hot day. Shaking her head slightly she floated closer to the ground and placed herself back down. Balancing herself she gave the boy a embarrassed smile before rubbing the back of her neck.

    "S-sorry you caught me surprise."

Giving off a slight chuckled she grabbed her bag from the ground slinging it over her shoulder. The contents in it rattled as she began to walk towards the building.

"C'mon I'll show you where it is. Or we could get some water bottles if you wanted since it looks like you could us a extra one just in case."

Octavia smiled as she clenched onto her backpack straps. She may have seemed cool on the outside but on the inside was a different story. Her thoughts began to run giving her head a slight headache as she over worried too much.

"I really hope that didn't weird him out. God why is it so hard to be chill and not worry about every single thing I say. Dumb social anxiety, how am I ever going to become anything with you lingering around me."

She thought as she opened the door and let the boy walk through first, the cool air conditioned halls greeted the two of them, as well as the chatter of the newcomers. Closing the door she walked beside him looking at all of the architecture. A small smile was plastered on her face as she walked lively down the hall, different people walking past them all laughing and chatting amongst themselves having an overall good time. If this is how school was supposed to be, man had she missed out on a lot. But Octavia turned her attention back to the boy.

"This place is pretty cool, a lot more than I'm used to. But I suppose its bound to be different since it's a school for people like us."

It seemed so peculiar to her that she was saying something like that. The boy was like her, and so were all the others that walked through this hall. Something that set them all apart from the rest of the boring world. Being enhanced was a gift and also a curse as many of them had come too know. But there was really nothing you could do about it all except either ignore it or choose to use and expand it. Octavia on the other just want to control it, she was tired of not being able to use her powers without it being unpredictable. Her violet hair sway ever so slightly brushing against her cheeks. Although her hair hadn't always been violet, when she had her outburst back in Russia all the brown had drained from her hair and left her with a light violet color, along with her eyes which had changed from a chocolate brown to it's own mix of light blue and violent.

"I've never been around so many enhanced, it's kind of intimidating. Then again I haven't been around this many people in general, enhanced or not."

Finally the two had reached the first water fountain that was the closest to them, luckily there was a vending machine right next to it. While the boy was doing his own thing she walked over to the vending machine and pulled out her card which she then swiped it over a pad and bought two water bottles. One for her and one for him. Grabbing them from the little space they come out of she turned towards him and tossed the raven haired boy a water bottle.

    "Here, save it for later."

With a small and genuine smile she had finally introduced herself.

"My name is Octavia, its nice to meet you."

Abigail looked around the Hall of Heroes at all the pictures. From all the research she did on the heroes, she knew that a majority of the men and women being honored in that room were killed by Dark Abyss. As Abigail understood it, one by one Dark Abyss killed Frozen Ace's friends to torment him. However, some would be able to blame Frozen Ace for many of those deaths as well. If someone did enough research, they'd be able to find out that Frozen Ace knew Dark Abyss was his brother for many years, and he even had several opportunities to defeat him, but he didn't because he hoped he could turn him back to good. Clearly it didn't work. If possible, Abigail wanted to be a hero like her father, but she didn't want to be as naive.

Lost in thought, Abigail was brought back to reality when a boy entered the Hall of Heroes. The amount of clothing he was wearing made him look like a heatstroke waiting to happen. But within the layers Abigail could see a boy around her age. She knew she never met him, but yet he seemed familiar. She couldn't figure out why, but she felt like she'd saw him before. For several seconds she trying to figure out if she actually knew him, when she realized she was staring. Hoping to not be too awkward, she got up from the floor and walked over to him.

"Hey, I'm Abigail," She spoke on the quieter, though her voice would still be loud enough to hear in her english accent. "And I can't help but feel like I know you from somewhere. Have we met or-" And then it hit her. She saw him during the tour. In the group of new arrivals with her. "Wait, I got it. You're a freshman. I must'a saw you in the tour." Then she realized that meant he would have seen her get introduced as Frozen Ace's daughter, and she started to feel anxious. "Umm, I was just looking at the pictures in here. Some of these heroes were pretty cool, ya know. I really liked that guy." She pointed to a picture of a young lady. The words came out of her mouth so fast that when she realized what she said she just stood in silence, wishing something really big would fall on her and end the awkward situation.

~Hunter Grant Ward & Harper Grace Ward Outside Trennan Academy

They stood in matching khaki shorts and white tank tops, ginger heads bent over a device. Twins who embraced and perhaps even flaunted their sameness. But then they also seemed so different, one distinctly masculine in build, shorts hitting his knees, tank top half tucked, hair highly stylized as he stood slightly shielding the female. She on the other hand had her tank tucked smoothly into high waisted shorts that stopped decidedly higher than the knee. Hair drawn up to a hasty ponytail in defense of the California heat, her face bright as she tapped away.

Then in a move that needed almost no thought, Hunter caught his exuberant sister as she leapt on his back. Arms hooking under her legs at his waist as she threw her own arm over his shoulders and brought the phone up in front of their now cheek to cheek faces.

See, we made it! Safe and sound!” He exclaimed, grin consuming his face as much to his sister’s delight, he spun them in a quick circle to show of the Academy front and grounds.

We love you. Miss you. Talk to you soon!” Harper chimed in, following it up with a bunch of kissy sounds and faces. Then with a few quick taps of the screen she sent the video file soaring through cyber space. You did teach dad how to open the files right? The silent communication sent the twins into a gale of laughter before a voice drew the attention of the crowd.

Blue eyes widened as they took in Vampiress and the other staff. Though he’d done his due diligence in researching the school, it hadn’t really occurred to him that they would actually meet and be taught by legendary superheroes. Nearly giddy with delight at the prospect before him, he started the tour with a bounce in his step.

He faltered just slightly as they moved past Trennan statues. In everything he’d read up on, he’d somehow missed the fact the two nemeses had been twins as well. Harper's arms tightened slightly around him, her cheek brushing his, You’re right, that could never be us.

Her face appeared as if she were about to slip into sleep, all the while she surveyed the other students through half closed eyes. Harper didn’t bother returning to her feet as the tour started, her legs swinging idly, chin resting on her arm as her eyes took in everything and her ears nothing. But it was unnecessary to listen, for everything Hunter learned was simply there in her head as always. The tour drew to a close as information passed so seamlessly between the twins’ minds even they lost track of who thought what.

How is he old enough to be a teacher? I wouldn’t mind if he taught me a thing or two… ew… What can I say, love a man who knows how to dress and those eyes. Awe, Poor baby being singled out like that. We need to learn more about this dorm assignment. Oh purple hair, why can’t we have purple hair. Dad’s gonna buy a yacht with all that money he’ll be saving. Did we eat lunch. Why are the dorms so far apart? Dad hates the water. Well he’s not gonna be in the water is he. Jeeze, How is he breathing in all that clothing? What if we get roommates? I suppose we could dye it. Maybe he’s local and this is cold for him. It’s so hot, don’t they know it’s September. Dye would be so much work to maintain. Lunch was 3 hours ago. We’ve shared a room practically our whole lives. You Think of all the beach time though. But what if they touch my things. Yeah, but did we eat it? Your things aren’t even that special. Oh wait, time zones. No I don’t think we did.

I need sustenance! Onward valiant stead!” Harper punctuated her sudden outcry while a wild thrust of her arm in the general direction of the cafeteria. Hunter punctuated it by dropping her.
