Name:Rana
Race: Human (Haradrim)
Age: 28
Gender(M or F): Female
P.o.B: Capital city of Harad (unnamed in all sources)
Side: Defenders of Endor
Class: Warrior
Specialization: Sword and shield
Skills(limit of 4): Sword and shield- Rana trained, from an early age, to fight with a sword being the daughter of a famous Haradrim tactician, and while she did learn how to use all manner of weapons, she took more to what she considered the more elegant weapon, unlike her brothers who went for spears.
Defender- Rana has, through conditioning and training, learned to hold the line, but also to push the line when and were needed, but still maintaining her side's grasp on what they capture.
Throwing weapons (Javelins)- Rana has trained in the use of javelins as a form of ranged combat, and even excelled in various competitions and events revolving around throwing her ranged weapon of choice.
Survivalist- Harad is a desert, a giant desert, and as such most Haradrim clans know how to survive off minimal water and how to find drinkable water easily, as well as how to navigate quickly to a place without needing to waste supplies. As such Rana knows how to do these things.
Spells(Mage only, limit of 3): No spells, as not a mage
Appearance(pic or description): Rana is standard for a Haradrim woman with dark brown skin, black hair and brown eyes. She stands at about 5'10, and has an athletic build.
Weapons(limit of 2, pic or description): Scimitar: Pretty simple in it's design. The blade is made of the finest steel, and is relatively undecorated, save for a serpent stamped into it just above the guard, the insignia of the Haradrim Serpent Guard. The guard is a similar affair, with the only defining characteristic being the name of her Haradrim clan written in their local dialect. The hilt has a simple leather wrap and is unremarkable. The pommel has the insignia of Gondor stamped on it, but other then that is also unremarkable.
Javelins: Rana carries 10 in total, all kept in a quiver on her back. They are simple oak shafts with heavy steel heads, designed around the bodkin point arrowheads some archers use. Pretty unremarkable and simple for a weapon.
Armor(limit of 1, pic or description): Standard Gondor Fountain Guard armour (worn by the Citadel Guards who guard the White Tree of Gondor), including their tower shield and cloak. The helmet has some of her own personal changes, such as the "wings" now resembling serpents and the silk mouth covering having a chainmail veil over it to improve protection.
Equipment(pic or description): Aside from her standard Gondorian Citadel Guard kit, Rana has a horse given to her by her friend Maerec, this horse is said to be distantly descended of the horse of either Aragon II who saw the end of the War of the Ring all those many years ago, or the horse ridden by Eowen of Rohan, but those are just rumors no one can prove as both of those heroes are long gone, as are their horses. All up the horse is a standard black horse, and is known for it's speed. She also has a backpack that contains standard supplies such as dried meat, fish and fruits and her waterskin, as well as a whetstone and oil needed for maintaining her sword, and an armour repair kit.
Runes: None
Personality: Her personality changes based on what she is doing. When she's fighting she is the commander who gives commands to her fellow soldiers on the fly, and she doesn't joke around. When she's guarding the camp for the night she is quiet, reflecting her duties as a Fountain Guard (they aren't allowed to talk while on duty). But outside of guarding and combat, she is friendly and slightly flirty, she likes to make others feel involved in the group, and likes to set up fun little friendly competitions and training sessions.
Background: Rana is the daughter of a Haradrim tactician and clan leader, as such she had a lot of expectations on her. She took to her training in weapons pretty well, and soon became a Haradrim Serpent Guard, one of the elite warriors of the Haradrim clans. She later would leave her clan, and Harad, and travel, meeting new friends, mostly in Gondor and Rohan, including her best friend, and occasional lover, Maerec. By the time she turned 24 a new threat had arisen, The Wrong, unfortunately she wasn't on the front lines in Far Harad with her clan, as she had been accepted by the King of Gondor as one of the Citadel Guards and was placed under the command of the Fountain Guards. It wasn't until The Wrong came out of holes in Palanor Fields right outside Minas Tirith and proceeded to rush through the gates that she would see combat against them, and what she saw was horrifying. If they had just killed all they got their hands on that would've been bad enough, but Rana witnessed people being dragged away, soldiers getting what appeared to be the blood of The Wrong into open wounds and dying horribly. Rana was lucky to be one of the ones who didn't get killed in this way, although she almost did a few times.
Other: Rana quietly stood at the front of the camp, looking towards the fires near the holes The Wrong came from. Ostgiliath lay behind their enemy, and the Rangers of Ostgiliath as well, waiting to ambush the enemy should they not just go under ground and come back up behind them as they had in the past. She turned as she heard footsteps behind her, one of the Gondorian Knights, as well as her friend Maerec. "Time to change the guard" the knight said. Rana nodded and removed her helmet. "I'll see you guys in the morning then, hopefully we can finally free Palanor Fields and help retake Ostgiliath" Rana said. She returned to her tent with Maerec.
The next morning she awoke, laying in the same bedroll as her friend. She had done it again, but this time she was happy she had, not that she hadn't been happy the last few times. Maerec woke shortly after and sat up and found his clothes. "Well, guess we ended last night well" he said. "Yes we did, hopefully we can do it again sometime" Rana added, winking at him before getting up and getting dressed, heading out to get some food and help with the battle preparations.
