Spreading across the vast expanse of the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy and beyond lies the vast Imperium Universalum, consisted of numerous alien races accumulated through conquest or other forms of assimilation under the dominant Achenaran species. The Imperium is held together by the might of the Imperial Armada, said to be perhaps the most powerful fighting force in the known galaxy since the Promethean Era of antiquity.

In the Imperium, citizenship is earned through military service, the most distinguished of which being that of the Officer. However, military officer positions are few and hard to come by, being reserved at birth to the families of the Aristocracy... or for orphans who have been adopted by the Imperial government.

The most talented of these cadets are provided an opportunity to gain some experience in military combat operations aboard one of the Imperium's academy ships... scaled down versions of Battlestars, complete with a full squadron of space fighters. The greatest of the Imperium's combat aces serve as instructors for these talented cadets, passing down their knowledge and battlefield experience to the next generation of Imperial officers...

Lineage: Was orphaned at the age of 3, does not know who her parents are

Personality: Kinkerie is spunky with lots of attitude. If she doesn't like the way things are going, she'll tell you. Her temper is extremely short but when it comes to authority she knows when to be respectful and listen to orders. While others mock that she is a neko, her feline attributes give her higher agility, reaction time, and hearing. She wears a bell around her neck to show she is proud of her race and that while she is only a kitten in her race, this kitten has claws.*Insert nya here*

Race: Achenaran (human-like alien)

Age: Looks around 25

Height: 5'10"

Lineage: Third son of a lesser nobleman in the Imperial aristocracy. Fifteenth in line to inherit the estate.

Personality: With a spirit for adventure, Erik feels more comfortable in the heat of battle than in a classroom. Though he understands the necessity for military regulation in the Imperial Armada, he approaches it in a more relaxed, informal manner, such as is common among the thrill-seeking fighter pilots. Surprisingly awkward when it comes to dealing with girls, he feels more comfortable around animals, which explains his strong attraction towards animal-eared alien races.

Heh, no problem. Kinkerie is older than most of the cadets but this can be explained in that she was adopted at a later age and isn't Achenaran. I added a race line since it wasn't there.
