Hello everyone, I'm just going to be quick and get right down to brass tacks. I've got an idea I've wanted to do for a while and am looking for a partner for it. I've colored the role I'd prefer in Purple but I am flexible on it. I attached just a quick blurb about me and the overall idea of the story as well.
Spoiler: About Me
- I've been role-playing for about five or six years and I love almost every aspect of it, there is a certain pleasure to composing a story alongside an equally creative and equally invested partner.
- Communication is especially important to me, I have always strived to develop a more intimate relationship with my partners; I want to be friends with my partner. Admittedly I tend to be a nerd and gush a bit about our role-plays but also enjoy just shooting the breeze from time to time.
- So, I feel that it's only fair I mention that I'm currently attending college. I'm in my freshmen year and while at the moment my classes are decided and the semester is only just getting started I will have homework to contend with. I'd just like to ask that people are patient with me and flexible.
- To continue off of my last point, I'm fairly active even with my college activities I tend to be on the sight about four or five times a day check to check my alerts. If I am online and I see that you've responded to our role-play(s) I will either get you a response that day or begin working on a response to you.
- As for content, my typical post is about 3-5 paragraphs I actually reserve myself from posting a higher average to assure quality control. I don't like to try and force myself to produce anything I can reasonably be assured is my best work. However, when I write major plot points I can write anywhere between 7-15 paragraphs.
- Regarding roles and genders, I tend to be flexible, I routinely play both male and female roles; typically I have a vague idea in mind for both roles when I start writing a new plot.
- Speaking of starting, I am usually willing to write the starter but always ask whether or not my partner would like to.
- My writing style is, well it's a tad on the strange side; I write in the 3rd person like most role-players do but. Well, I write in a mixture of past and present tense usually the situation demands and will regularly have a post where they blur together. I know that goes against the rules of convention in writing but it's the style that I've developed and can't really seem to shake it. That isn't to say that I don't have an efficient and mostly proper understanding of writing. Grammar, spelling both are fine aside from that one oddity I'm the typical writer.
- Lastly, on the subject of kinks. I am fairly opened minded but do have several a; BDSM, Bondage (Webbing, Straightjackets, Mummification, Cuffs, Rope, Sleepsacks), Extreme Tickling, Collars, Sensory Deprivation and Moderate (and severe) Torture. I both like writing/reading, this and try to be as creative as the situation will permit, but I also like to put a sincere focus on the After-Care aspect of it as well where and when it's called for by the role-play.
Spoiler: General Thought
the Kingdom of Cydonia; Celestial Year 751
It is a time of great mourning in the land of Cydonia, for the people have just lost their 17th Monarch and their consort. Both the Monarch and their Consort had been ruling from their sick bed for some time, having fallen ill some years ago. The old monarchs were heroes, having been the first royal family to unite the various Nordic territories into a single kingdom in centuries. Mustering their power they rekindled relationships with the Kingdom of Albion. Making a great effort to renew the Pact of Mutual Naval Defense, and resisting political interference from the Imperium and rebuilding the national army in preparation for the next war. Despite all of their great feats but mortal they were and susceptible to the passing of time alongside betrayal. And so it was that whispers arose, poison was the cause of their bed fall; not age. Even so, Cydonia isn't without hope for the 17th Monarch left behind several children.
The eldest of which (Muse A) is of age to take the throne. Which is an event they loathe and dread, despite being the eldest they were always the most rebellious. Seeking instead a life of adventure and freedom rather than duty, etiquette, espionage, political intrigue, and arranged marriages. Even as the weeks to their coronation dwindle they seek to escape the weight of the crown. Alas, they were raised stern and right as many Cydoniaians to put family and countrymen before all else. So to protect their siblings and their nation from civil war they prepare to grit their teeth and ascend the throne and face the threats and dangers ahead. Of which there is no shortage of. Thankfully for both the future Monarch, they're not alone, because standing beside them is their oldest friend (Muse B) from their rebellious youth of adventuring is beside them ready to help them take on the world.
