Character Cards: These allows the players to summon characters based on ink costs.
Basic Character Cards: These are characters made from a list that each have a randomized character trait. Normally these would be exclusive to each player, but in CCDT both of the players will have access to the same basic character cards. (10, five each)
Special Character Cards: These are character cards that belong to the specific player and have abilities that can help them solve puzzles or be used for battle. (10, five each)
Effect Cards: These grant both players temporary powers that lasts a set amount of moves. Two effect cards can’t be placed at the same time.
Power Cards: These cards allow for increased speed or strength for up to 16 posts between them. (10, five each)
Superpower Cards: These cards allow for powers like flight, mega kicking, or other special attacks. They will be active for 8 posts between the two of them. (10, five each)
Utility Cards: These are rare weapons, items, tools, and runes that can only be used a set amount of times between the two of them.
Element Cards: These are cards that can summon a windstorm, set a fire, or create a block of ice, but are unable to be obtained after using them all up. (10, five each)
Item Cards: These are regular everyday items and can be found in treasure chests or for quest rewards. (0)
Assist Cards: These are animals, mascots, or pets the writers have and can be used to complete puzzles a set amount of times. (4, two each)
Buddy Cards: These are crystals that do specific actions and these tend to be rare. The players can get more throughout their adventure by defeating bosses.
Buddy Character Cards: These are boss cards turned into a special character card with special abilities and can be used throughout the journey, but they can be summoned by either players instead of one or the other. (0)
Buddy Effect Cards: These cards in unique in that they only affect the opposite player then the one who placed it. They can temporarily turn the other player into a monster, hybrid animal, or sea creature for 4 to 8 turns. (4, two each)
Buddy Utility Cards: These are crystals that can used by either player whenever necessary. One that allows the two players to switch places despite the distance, for example. (6, three each)
Buddy Battle Cards: This is a massive attack that requires a large amount ink from both of the players. (2, one each)
Battle Cards: These are cards that can be used for fighting.
Weapon Cards: These are weapons that belong to a specific player. (10, 5 each)
Defense Cards: These are shields and special barriers that can protect a specific player. (6, 3 each)
