Default [M] Record of Dragon War (Holey & Lobo)

In the world of Turalisj Tonash exists a continent where many things and people who become lost end up finding themselves. Over thousands of years, scattered races and tribes of various cultures from across the world have found themselves, forming tribes and growing into civilizations very similar to their long-forgotten homelands. On this continent, called Empyrean, a man of great intelligence and power has forged many of the scattered kingdoms and tribes into a great Empire, the likes of which Empyrean has never seen.

This Empire was not formed without good reason... for the chromatic dragons, having remained seemingly inactive for the last 1400 years, were once again gathering their numbers together in the name of their goddess, Tiamat, in anticipation of her awakening. Emperor Friedrich I decided to prepare his own forces in order to oppose the chromatic dragons of Tiamat... but in order to do so, an alliance and union with her brother Bahamut's metallic dragons was essential.

And so, a deal was struck. Friedrich I was to marry the princesses of the dominant clan of gold dragons, while his sons were to marry the princesses of the subordinate metallic dragon clans. As his sons extended to include the adopted Arcane Knights, the past week had included a number of arranged marriages between knights and princess, such as the happy couple Gregor and Amelia.

But today was the climax of the ceremony, and Friedrich I himself stood at the dias. His bride to be was the oldest of seven daughters, the beautiful dragon princess Vanna, accompanied by her six younger sisters who, for the time being, were dressed as bridesmaids, as they would have their own wedding ceremonies upon achieving their eightieth year.

As the music began, Friedrich and the assembled wedding guests, many of which newlyweds themselves, or at least high ranking nobles, turned their attention to the entrance in order to see the ceremonial entrance of the bride and her sisters.

The moment the dragon princesses heard that they would be marrying Emperor Friedrich I in order to form a union between the golden dragons and the Empire, the six youngest sisters wouldn’t stop talking about the man. They had been told stories about the strong, powerful Emperor, about the large palace that he lived in, and all the little maids that they could easily make friends with. These things had been building on their excitement during the days before the wedding, and now that it was finally time, the six sisters could hardly contain their joy.

The one remaining sister, that was to be wedded to Friedrich first, was a bit too anxious to feel the same level of joy that her little sisters were feeling. Although she was glad the alliance was being formed between the two groups, and also pleased to know she would be marrying a loyal, strong, and highly intelligent man, her nervousness was more so due to the fear of disappointing the Empire and embarrassing her father. She held the responsibility of representing her family and the golden dragons as a whole, since her younger sisters weren't of the same age and therefore it was expected for them to be less mature than she was. There was a bit excitement buried beneath all of her anxiety, but it was difficult to dig up especially on the day of the wedding.

When the music started to play, the sisters began to walk out from the entrance in order from youngest to oldest. Little Zerrin started the line, her pretty rose gold dress matching the ones her other five sisters wore, and the rather timid girl smiled shyly at the guests as she made her way up to the designated standing place for the bridesmaids. Following a bit behind her came Kula, whose bubbly personality was apparent from the way she practically skipped down the aisle and occasionally, by accident, flashed her pearly white panties to the crowd due to the shortness of her dress.

Next was Haimi, who could barely look up from her shoes as she followed behind her two other sisters to get to the place she needed to stand. Being a bit disconnected from her emotions, the young girl had a tendency to come off as cold or rude to most, but it was only because of her slight inability to understand all the feelings she felt. The fourth little sister to walk down the aisle was Oralie, the fraternal twin of Haimi. Having quite the opposite personality of her twin sister, she is polite, proper, and kind to nearly everyone she meets. The two are practically inseparable, and Oralie usually helped to translate Haimi's dry, and accidentally offensive words.

Then came Tala, the sister that looked the least interested as she walked down the aisle to join her sisters. Not afraid to speak her mind, the fifth sister was purposely cold and a bit rude to people other than her sisters. She was stubborn, hard headed, and liked to do things her own way. The sixth sister, Carmela, was the most motherly aside from the bride. She tended to her younger sisters like a mother would, and always made sure to remind them of their manners. A bit quiet, she didn't speak out much unless addressed and preferred to keep herself out of the center of attention.

Lastly, after all six of her sisters made it through the aisle, Vanna slowly made her way out of the entrance and towards the dias where Friedrich stood. Keeping her head held high to show more confidence than she felt, the princess in her pretty, white wedding dress, slowly made it up the steps to join Friedrich and allow the vows to begin.

The Emperor stood still, gazing at each of the dragon girls as they entered, admiring the young beauties in their humanoid forms. Most of their true forms were, of course, too large to be walking so freely among humans... though still smaller than full grown gold dragons, which could be incredibly massive indeed. Considering how many of the wedding guests were indeed full grown dragons, it was simply much more practical for them to be in human form, though the difference was still quite obvious in how much supernatural charisma and presence each dragon had even in a two-legged body.

As the oldest sister finally made her entrance in the form of a beautiful precentennial elf, the Emperor wondered if she had chosen this form due to the fact that he found elf girls to be one of the most beautiful races, or because she, like many of her kind, preferred it over human form for much the same reason. It didn't particularly matter, as the results were the same, though her nervousness was still apparent. Giving her a soft smile as she came close, he whispered, "Relax" as he gently took her hand to guide her the rest of the way up to his side.

He then braced himself for a long period of standing up, dozing off, and keeping his eyes open, all at the same time, as the High Priest of Bahamut began the Eulogy. "Dearly Beloved, we are gathered together to celebrate the soul mating of a man and a young woman. As our Great Father, Bahamut, is always accompanied by seven golden wyrms, so too will his Champion in this world be marrying the oldest of seven golden sisters on this day..."

If there was anything that people with experience dealing with dragons knew, it was the fact that time had a very different meaning to a thousand year old immortal than it did to a human. Those who knew this fact had already braced themselves for an incredibly long sermon regarding love, duty, an in-depth explanation of the meaning of the wedding vows, and countless implications of the superiority of gold dragons over every other creature in the world without specifically stating as much.

He did a rather impressive job of standing still like a statue, though his mind was elsewhere, focused on important matters of strategy and planning for the war effort. After an interminable period of time, his attention was finally drawn back to the here and now as the dragon priest got to the point with the vows themselves. "Do you, Vanna, daughter of King Lofwyr the Golden Wyrm, pledge to love, honor, and obey this man, for the remainder of your immortal life?"

Seeing Friedrich's smile, Vanna returned it with one of her own as she took his hand and accepted his guidance up the last few steps. She also gave a small nod in response to his whisper, feeling the tense muscles in her shoulders start to loosen as she took her place next him and breathed out a calming sigh. Her cheeks had gained some pink coloring since the man had so easily picked up on her nerves, but she did seem to be a bit less tense as the Priest got the long ceremony started. Despite the length of the sermon, the gold dragon princess was interested in every word spoken, and her attention never once faltered away from the Priest.

It seemed she wasn't the only one completely invested in the sermon either, considering even the tiniest of the seven princesses was watching with wide, awestruck eyes as she experienced a wedding for the first time. The other sisters were equally as enthralled, not wanting to miss a word that was said as it was very important to every princess in the room. The seven girls all enjoyed learning and experiencing new things, which made this situation all the more fascinating for every one of them.

As the sermon eventually drew to an end, and the Priest transitioned to the vows, Vanna stood up a bit straighter when her name was said. She peeked towards Friedrich after a moment of silence before nodding her head to the Priest. "I do," she said, twisting her hands together in front of her as another blush began to rise to her cheeks. However, the light color quickly darkened a few shades as a little voice interrupted the remaining vows.

"We do, too!" little Kula just couldn't contain her joy, and the small dragon princess blurted out the words before she could stop herself. It made the rest of the sisters in line stiffen, lots of cheeks turning pink as Carmela reached around to tug her sisters arm and get her attention. "I know you're excited, but let's wait to talk until they're all finished," she whispered to the little girl, who quickly clamped her mouth shut and nodded vigorously to show her understanding. The little girl didn't mean any disrespect from her interruption, she just couldn't help it partly due to excitement and partly due to her childish impatience from waiting for the wedding to end.

His gaze settling on the beautiful face of the oldest princess, Friedrich watched as she nodded, appreciating her adorable blush as she agreed to the vows. He couldn't help but laugh a bit when one of the youngest of the girls blurted out that they did too, and much of the audience also got a giggle or a chuckle out of how adorable the girl was being. The priest merely regarded the girl with a soft smile and said, "You'll get to say that again in another forty years or so" in a friendly, playful way.

Once the laughter died down a bit, the priest turned to Friedrich and said, "And do you, Friedrich I, Emperor of this land, pledge to love, honor, and protect this girl, for the remainder of your immortal life?"

"Of course," the Emperor said simply, as if it were no big deal.

"Then by the power granted to me by our great Father, Bahamut, I now declare you to be man and-" Without waiting for the man to finish, Friedrich had already pulled the young dragon princess close and was pressing his lips to hers, giving a deep kiss and probing her mouth with his tongue. "-wife," the priest concluded. "You can kiss the bride now," he said somewhat jokingly, as the Emperor was still very much in the process of doing so.

King Lofwyr was regarding the procedure with a rather neutral tone, but then began to clap, which signaled the entire audience to do so, as a roar of applause began to resound throughout the Temple of Bahamut. Friedrich went on to gather the other six sisters, giving each of them a kiss as well, from the shy little Zerrin to include the emotionally reserved Haimi and even the tsundere Tala. Though it was his first time meeting these girls, he wanted each of them to know that they would be loved and protected in the same way that their oldest sister was.

Wrapping an arm around Vanna, he picked up little Kula in his other arm and said to the oldest sister, "We should head on over to the ballroom for the reception ceremony, I suppose." His arm wrapped around the oldest princess' waist while carrying the little Kula easily with one arm, he began to head out of the temple in the direction of the palace ballroom.

As the sound of laughter sounded throughout the wedding guests, the excitable little dragon princess hunkered down with embarrassment, feeling a blush start to burn her cheeks. Despite her embarrassment, Kula did enjoy the few moments of having all the attention on her, and the little princess grinned to the priest as the man spoke. "Kula is sorry," she chirped, even giggling at herself now. She did quiet down after this, knowing that the more she interrupted, the longer it would take for the wedding to end.

Vanna's own cheeks were also a bit pink from her sister's blurted words, but her focus returned to Friedrich as the Priest repeated his words to the Emperor. She felt herself smile a bit at the man's response, finding his simplistic and blunt answer to be rather humorous. However, she didn't expect the sudden kiss before it was prompted, and a soft squeak left her lips as she was pulled closer to her new husband. Her body practically melted against Friedrich's, her hands placed lightly on his chest as she returned his kiss and parted her lips for his tongue. Her shaky knees felt a bit weak just from the kiss alone, and a brighter blush had spread across the curve of both her cheeks as she pulled away from the kiss after hearing the applause from the guests.

The new wife followed Friedrich to her little sisters, watching as each one returned his kiss, some a bit more eagerly than others. Even Tala returned the kiss, knowing better than to reject the kind action in front of so many wedding guests. For most of the girls, the kisses brought smiles to their lips, while little Zerrin immediately blushed and breathed a happy little giggle as she was given hers.

Vanna chuckled softly at her six little sisters, and smiled up at Friedrich as she felt his arm slide around her waist. "I have a feeling you'll have a long line of girls wanting to dance with you..." the oldest sister murmured to the man, giggling again as Kula immediately clung onto Friedrich as she was picked up. The dragon princess adored her six little sisters, and even if they were a handful at times, she would do anything for the younger girls. Despite most of the gaps in age, all the girls were very close to one another, and rarely did arguments break out among them.

"Kula is very sorry for interrupting, Emperor Friedrich-sama," the little girl apologized as she buried her face against the Emperor's shoulder, "It was an accident." She peeked up from his shoulder to smile, her cheeks a bit pink as she apologized for her disrespectful actions. "Normally Kula is a good girl," she added, wanting to emphasize that she didn't get in trouble like that often.

"Not always," Haimi murmured absently as the five other sisters followed behind Friedrich to go to the ballroom, causing the younger girl to blush a bit brighter. "Bu-but most times!" Kula insisted, hiding her face against the man's shoulder again as she clutched onto him.

Friedrich was glad to see the oldest sister calming down somewhat after the kiss, continuing to hold her close with his arm around her waist. He shrugged somewhat at her words, kissing her sensitive pointy ear softly. "I suppose the guards and maids might want a turn... some of your princess friends as well... the single ones at least. But it's your ceremony, so you and your sisters get priority and can pretty much keep me to yourselves, if you want." He didn't want the bride to think that her new husband would be leaving her on her own, after all.

He bounced little Kula a bit in his arms, giving her another soft kiss and shaking his head at her words. "You don't need to apologize to me for being adorable," he said to her, stroking her hair softly. "I'm not one for excessive ceremony, anyway. I'm sure everyone else will forgive you too if you just continue to act adorable all the time." Due to her young age, the little princess' interjection hadn't caused much commotion... just a bit of friendly laughter, really.

"Kula is a very good girl," he said some reassuring words to the little dragon as he made his way to a special table that had been prepared for him and the seven sisters. The seating was arranged so that Vanna would be on his left arm, with Carmela on his right and the other sisters arranged in a similar manner according to age. But as this would place the younger girls on the outside, he decided to just settle Zerrin and Kula on his lap, holding the little girls close and stroking Vanna's hair softly as he helped the bride into her seat.

"They're gonna want to do more announcements and toasts before the dancing," he remarked, "But at least we get to sit down for this part." He bounced the little princesses in his lap a bit, wrapping an arm each around Vanna and Carmela at his sides as he waited for several of the assembled nobles and dragons to begin their congratulatory speeches and toasts. He waved to the adorable little maid who came to serve his drink while the handmaidens for the princesses made their own appearance in order to serve them... mostly fruit juice, really, with wine for Carmela and Vanna as they were a bit older.

Vanna was quite relieved by the Emperor's assurance, although the line to dance with him would still be fairly long just including her sisters in it. She didn't mind to share him though, considering he was to be married to the younger girls once they were of age, too. She also observed the interaction between him and little Kula, and the sight brought another smile to the girl's lips. It was adorable to see how sweet he was to the little girl, and how much she seemed to like him already.

The second youngest of the seven sisters let out a happy giggle as she was bounced in Friedrich's arms, and Kula eagerly returned the second kiss she was given by him. "Thank you, Friedrich-sama! Kula will keep being adorable so she stays out of trouble," she promised, smiling brightly at him as he assured her that her behavior wasn't as bad as she thought it was. She continued to hug onto him as she was taken to their designated table, while Vanna stuck close to the side as she followed him there.

Each of the seven sisters took their designated seats around the table, but little Zerrin was surprised when she was stopped and placed in Friedrich's lap along with Kula. A blush immediately bloomed on the small girl's cheeks as she got comfortable on his lap, and she peeked up towards him with a shy smile. "Hi," she whispered, twisting her fingers together in her lap nervously. "Zerrin is a shy!" Kula giggled, teasing her smaller sister as the other continued to blush brightly.

However, one of the three sisters that was forced to sit a bit farther from Friedrich than she wanted to be, decided she should do something about the distance. So, hopping up from her chair, Oralie went over to Carmela and requested a seat on the older sister's lap. The two older sisters on each side of Friedrich chuckled softly at their youngest sisters, finding the three girls to be quite adorable as two seemed to really enjoy sitting in the man's lap while one just wanted closer to him. "Think it will be as long as the ceremony was?" Vanna asked with a slight giggle, since the sermon had seemed to drag on for quite some time. She wasn't complaining though, since sitting down for a bit before they got to the dancing would be best.

She then noticed the little maid that approached with Friedrich's wine, smiling to the bunny maid as she poured the Emperor's drink. "Goshujin-sama is doing well today?" Jaycee asked, filling up his glass with the alcoholic beverage. While the man was focused on her, the bunny maid's close friend was sneaking under the table, where she was hidden by the cloth that was covering it.

    Spoiler: Jaycee

    Spoiler: Tia

Chuckling at the words of the little princess, the Emperor nodded, giving her a soft kiss on the forehead. "I'm sure you will be," he said with a slight smile, having found her to be quite adorable already, though her innocence could potentially get her into trouble if he didn't keep a close eye on her. "Vanna can be adorable as well," he said to the oldest princess as he stroked her hair softly.

Squeezing the blushing little Zerrin more as he helped her into her lap, he held her close and responded, "Hi there. You must be little Zerrin," he said, only to have Kula confirm it immediately afterwards. "Zerrin doesn't need to be so shy with me. I'll be taking care of you from now on, since you and your sisters will be staying here... but I'll take care of you real good, even better than your real Daddy," he assured her as he squeezed the two little princesses close in his lap.

As one of the other princesses decided she didn't like her seating arrangement and set herself down on Carmela's lap, he reached over to stroke her thigh softly, doing the same to Carmela, and leaned over to give her a soft kiss on the cheek. "I take it you wanted to sit a bit closer?" he asked little Oralie as he stroked her slender thigh a bit with his hand. He chuckled at Vanna's words before giving a soft kiss to her pointy ear, "Probably even longer, but at least we're more comfortable now," he said as he slipped a hand underneath her to caress her soft rear a bit.

As the maids approached to fill up their glasses for the toast, he gave Jaycee a bit of a smile. "Doing well so far, yes," he said to her as he noted a second bunny maid slipping under the table. "I imagine Jaycee and her sister will soon help my day be even better, though." Reaching under the table, he stroked the soft, fluffy ears of the other maid, saying, "Well hello there. This is Tia," he introduced her briefly to the other princesses as he pulled her a bit closer so that she could do what she came for, undisturbed and unnoticed by the rest of the guests due to the high table and concealing cloth. Tia's timing couldn't be better, as one of the princesses' cousins was beginning some sort of long rant about how adorable Vanna was as a wyrmling, causing the Emperor to squeeze the oldest princess closer to him.

Vanna couldn't help but smile at the interactions between Friedrich and her two small sisters, knowing Kula was extremely thrilled by the attention she was receiving from the man. However, as she heard him speak her name, a light shade of pink spread across her cheeks, but she gave him a small nod in response. "Vanna can be adorable, at times," she murmured, earning little giggles from the two small girls on Friedrich's lap.

The two youngest princesses seemed quite comfortable in their lap seats, especially Zerrin even though the blush on her cheeks never faded away completely. As he mentioned her name, the dragon princess nodded a confirmation despite the fact that Kula had already called her by name. She listened silently to his following words, which managed to bring another shy smile to Zerrin's lips. "Even more better than Zerrin's real daddy?" she repeated, seeming shocked that it was even possible. "Can Friedrich-sama really do that?" Kula piped up now, blinking up at Friedrich with wide eyes full of curiosity.

The movement beside them caught the girls' attentions though, and they looked over to watch another sister climb into Carmela's lap, probably to get some attention from the man. It seemed her action was successful, and Oralie smiled brightly as she nodded confirmation to his question. "Oralie wanted closer to you. She wants to talk to Friedrich-sama, too," she explained, giggling softly at the slight tickle produced by his hand that slid up her thigh. Even Carmela started to blush as her own thigh was stroked by the man, but her attention was pulled to her older sister when the newly wed spoke. "Even longer?" Vanna repeated, a small frown appearing on her lips, but it quickly disappeared upon feeling lips against her pointy ear. The sensation, along with the hand sliding over her rear, caused the princess to shift in her seat and start to blush a bit brighter.

The maid pouring the wine returned Friedrich's smile with a bright one of her own, and immediately nodded at his second remark. "Tia and Jaycee want Daddy to enjoy the reception," she chirped, giggling softly at how easily he noticed the pink haired bunny under the table. Tia smiled up at the little princesses in Friedrich's lap, all while she started to tug at the clasps on his pants. "Tia...why is Tia under the table?" the curious Kula asked, looking from Friedrich to the bunny maid as she seemed to be messing with his pants for some reason. "Is Tia supposed to do that?" feeling full of questions, Kula blurted another one to Friedrich, tilting her head at the bunny maid.
