Career: Soccer star for the Jericho district's team, the Gatekeepers. Their star forward, he has led Idun's soccer league in goals scored for each of the last three seasons and is considered one of the greatest talents to emerge in the last thirty years in league play. He spends his time as a sports celebrity and working out during the offseason. He loves his fans and is considered quite an affable personality.

History: Born to a family that lived in the poor districts of Idun, Dunkirk grew up with little amenities to his name beyond the rations his family was able to provide and the few things he would find in the alleyways around his home. When he was six, he found an abandoned soccer ball, likely lost by some other unfortunate child days before. It was his only toy at the time, and he clung to it like he would a pet, keeping it close and playing with it whenever he had spare time between school and chores. His parents noticed his attachment to the sport, and his father taught him the rules of soccer, hoping to encourage his hobby.

During school, he grew into an accomplished athlete, easily the best soccer player during extracurriculars, enough to garner notice from a scout for the Jericho Gatekeepers. He kept tabs on Dunkirk during his senior year before approaching him upon his graduation, offering him a chance to play for the Gatekeepers. Eager, he jumped at the opportunity, having idolized Devland Pryor, their defenseman for ten years, even going so far as to make his jersey through high school the same number as his own.

He took Idun's sports world by storm. While he had a mediocre rookie season, his sophomore years and beyond saw him blossom into a real star. His skills improved with each season, enough to lead the league in goals the past three years and win the MVP award the last two. He lives in the rich district of Idun during the offseason, keeping in shape for when he returns to the soccer field. During, he travels between the districts, playing the rest of the league in weekly matches and working out with his team or practicing during non-game days.

Of course, one night during the offseason, he had some weird dream come to him. Something about Exiles, corruption in Idun, atrocities...he could only vaguely remember details. The dream dogged him with its haziness in his mind all day, even when he got down to the deserted soccer pitch to take penalty shots. Unfocused, he missed all five he had lined up, which pissed off the soccer star. To let off steam, he ran at the goal and tried lifting it...and not only succeeded, but casually tossed it halfway across the pitch. Luckily, nobody had seen the sudden superhuman outburst, but it left quite the impact on him. Where had this power come from? And what would Idun do if they knew one of the biggest names in sports had suddenly become a superpower-wielding freak of nature? His career would be in the shitter, not even mentioning the worse things that might come. Unable to get many free hours with the season approaching, Dunkirk had little choice but to hide his power, unable to explore its possibilities save in small doses during the rare free hours he got.

Power: Thor's Might: While you cannot summon lightning and do not wield Mjolnir, your strength is prodigious when compared to normal people. While a strong man might be able to lift a small motor-scooter (400lbs), you can heft a small car (2,000lbs). However... while you are immensely strong, you are no faster than your peers. Thus your unarmed attacks are only marginally more dangerous. Still, you can throw heavy things and swing small trees like they are mere twigs.

Career: Private Investigator. Amature Photographer.

History: Carrie grew up like any kid in Idun. Educated, fed, entertained, and happy. She developed an interest in photography early in her life, a passion which was indulged by her parents. Their house would have pictures of her photographs hanging up on any part of the walls not covered by a painting or an appliance.

Once she was 15, she started to engage in mystery novels. Who-done-it stories of spurned lovers and mafia hitmen. She became wrapped up in both her passion for photography and her passion for mystery in equal parts. As soon as she graduated college majoring in Criminal Justice, she opened her own Private Investigators Office, specializing in photographic evidence.

She never got married. Years of catching cheating spouses dulled her ability to trust anyone to the point she could even consider that kind of thing. She doesn't really have many friends, her trust issues interfering with that kind of thing, as well. The only thing that her trust issues don't interfere with is her photography.

She was trying to get a shot of a building from the ground floor when it happened. She was technically trespassing, but nobody was around. There weren't any cameras covering this wall. After all, it was 10 feet of concrete. Very few people could climb that kinda distance, anymore. But she wasn't just anybody. She got ready to jump up onto the wall. What was supposed to be a head start turned into her nearly clearing the whole construct. She vaulted over and climbed down. Her heart was beating out of her chest. Did she really just... What?

She tried again the other way, this time simply vaulting over. If anyone was looking at the time, they would have called it effortless. She called it terrifying. She never got that picture. She walked all the way home and stayed inside all day, trying to figure out what this could mean... And she still doesnt know.

Power: Dread Wolf's Pounce: Triple Jump Height and Distance. You may also seamlessly leap between adjacent walls to reach lofty heights faster than even a mechanical elevator. If you gain a running start, your jump height increases to five times normal, and your distance to ten times normal. This running bonus does apply to subsequent jumps while moving, including those done between buildings.

Gender: Female

Career: Electrical Systems Technician/Grey Hat Hacker. Her week days usually consist of repairing broken or outdated citizen owned systems in the city, during which time she'll install additional nodes into her own personal network of antennas and access points. During her spare time, she's generally exploiting her "repairs" to gather information for the highest bidder on the city's "Deep Web."

History: Allison lived what only she could refer to as an unbearably boring life. A blue collar father that was almost never there, and a stay at home helicopter mom she wished would just leave her the hell alone. It was at the age of five her favorite television show bestowed upon her a love of robotics. She bothered her mother for months before she gave in and bought her one of those cheap solar car kits. Everyone's gotta start somewhere, right?

When her father brought home a ragged old office computer for her one day, her "art" got it's true beginning. The internet became her teacher, and she took knowledge in like a drowning woman gasping for air. Pages upon pages of guides downloaded. Hours of tutorial videos turned into days, then weeks. Any household item she could get away with was disassembled and salvaged for the parts she needed. By the time she was eight, her room was filled with simple homemade devices and automata, from electrical engines and servos to remote controllable toys. All the while, her hard drive filled with hundreds upon thousands of lines of code, ranging from utilitarian to absurd.

Her single minded dedication, coupled with her mother's unwillingness to let her explore the outside world led to an understandably stifled social life. At school, the other children only seemed to want to talk about toys and games. Nothing she saw as having any real substance. Eventually she gave up on trying to socialize altogether. At least until she met him.

It was in one of those "Gifted" programs in year seven. The lesson plan took an unexpected turn as the provided terminals began playing a pornographic video with the teacher's head crudely grafted over the "actor" bent over the bed. Allison raised her eyebrows and looked around the room as the teacher shouted profanities, and the students went through various states of laughter and shock. All but one, who smirked as he stuffed a flash drive back in his pocket.

She confronted him in the hallway after class, as the teacher was dragging the wrong student to the principal's office. After a few minutes of "talking shop" she finally convinced him to admit to the deed, and explain how he'd sent the commands through his bully's terminal. To describe the relationship the two shared afterward as friendship would be totally inaccurate. He thought she was a frigid bitch, and she would describe him as a conceited asshole. But they found common ground in their hobbies, bouncing ideas off of each other constantly.

Where one had a blank in their knowledge the other could generally fill it in, after an adequate amount of ridicule of course. With the two of their heads put together there were few problems they couldn't solve. So it was inevitable that one of them would push too far, too fast.

One night in their private IRC he was bragging about a way he could exploit the Hacksilver's cypher encryption by creating a stack overflow. Allison rolled her eyes as he went into detail about his real life infinite money cheat. The more he talked about it though, the more merit the idea seemed to have. After a few hours it was time for bed, and Allison nodded off imagining what she was going to buy when she stole the code from him.

The next morning was nothing but average, right up to the point she was told her partner in crime had transfered city districts. The more she pressed for information, the more the teachers ignored her. Naturally, she decided to take the search into her own hands and it was like he'd fallen into oblivion.

School records, social media and forum accounts, all gone. She even snuck out of her house to break into hospital records from a public terminal, getting a hair's width from exile in the process, just for more of the same. He was gone. A morbid parallel to the age old question, "If a tree falls in the woods and there's no one to hear it, does it make a sound?"

Though in this case, "If a man is wiped from the face of the earth and no one questions it, did he ever exist in the first place?"

She finished her schooling in typical fashion, and used her knowledge of electrical systems to get her job within a week of graduation. A few months after that, she moved into a cheap studio in a run down part of town. She rarely talks to her parents anymore, or anyone really. The last four years have been spent working and gathering all the information on the city she could get her hands on. Not for the sake of her old "friend" so much as her own undying curiosity. She was never really the type of person to let a mystery go unsolved.

Power: Flames of Muspelheim: Hurl baseball-sized fireballs once per minute from your hands. These can reach temperatures of nearly 5,000 degrees fahrenheit, do not harm the one throwing them, and can be thrown up to 100m away before quickly dissipating. Upon impact with a solid surface, they burn for a few seconds before dissipation, causing severe damage to both organic and inorganic material and softening any metals they touch.

Possessions:

Augmented Reality Glasses, simply capable of displaying faint images on the lenses. Commonly used for displaying information her "kit" gathers. Also equipped with a 6MP camera capable of storing video and audio to her phone.

Custom Smart Phone, outfitted with Wireshark compatible antenna and spoofed MAC address. Capable of breaking into lightly encrypted networks and executing man in the middle attacks within 30 minutes, given optimal conditions. Heavier encryptions require gathered packets to be analyzed and broken on her home computer, though once the key is acquired through the PC's heavy lifting, attacks can be executed through the phone. Also loaded with a variety of questionable, but technically legal programs for information gathering.

Walther P22 Pistol. .22 caliber semi automatic handgun with a 10 round magazine, registered and legal.

Home PC. Her first computer, augmented with various bits of hardware she's acquired over the years. She keeps a few graphically demanding games on the hard drive in case she's ever questioned about it's ludicrous amount of processing power. A backup hard drive with her less legal activities sits disconnected within it's case, loaded with a virus to wipe the contents should it ever be accessed without the proper access key.

Tools and Spare Parts. Because of her day job, her studio is a rats nest of screwdrivers, soldering irons, connectors, wires, servos, parts and pieces from a wide variety of devices. These range from ancient cd players to cheap quadcopters, and just about everything in between.

E-Cig. Small, low profile. Black with a red LED on the end. Usually mango flavored.
