Looking for a 1x1

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a few 1x1 RPs. I love anything related to fantasy or mythology and I’m open to stories involving romance or friendship. Any romantic RPs will be FxM, with me playing the female. Here’s what I’d like to do (in no particular order):

Ancient Greece: Merchant’s child x slave- I’m open to playing either one
Healer x patient- I’d like to play the healer
Demoted valkyrie x warrior- the plot for this one is based off of an RP that I did a few years ago. If you’re interested in this, I’ll gladly explain the basic plot and dig up the original RP
Anything with mythology
Anything with vampires

I tend to have a lot of ideas, depending which mythology, and take some liberties in redefining them, the same way every author who ever wrote mythology seems to have done. The Valkyrie made me think you might be interested in Norse mythology which is a good one, though I also have an interest in various other mythologies of Northern Europe and other parts of the world as well, though some of them might require me to educate myself a bit more.

I LOVE Greek mythology, but I'd be willing to try something in other kinds of mythology.

I had an idea where the Greek gods, except for Apollo, were killed in a war and replaced by the Roman gods with the same aspect (Mars replacing Ares after he died in a war, etc.). I also have ideas involving the Norse pantheon and Ragnarok, as well as the Gaelic fairy myths regarding the Seelie and Unseelie courts. I'm not against using Catholic (and Hebrew) mythology in regards to celestial angels and demons, either... or we could go more towards the Arabian area and use Jinn and Ifrit. The possibilities are endless, especially considering how they can be combined and used in a fantasy world full of monsters and magic...

Kittens demanding attention lately, hence the delay heh. They're so needy!

My family has 2 cats, so I understand completely!

Well we can work with the first idea, then! What are some good plots that go along with it? Want your character to be a demigod, perhaps?

I had a really old cat who died a few years agp, but he didn't demand nearly as much attention as these crazy kittens do. I can't go anywhere in the house without them following me thinking I'm getting food for them or something!

Maybe one of our characters could be a priest or priestess who's trying to adjust to the changes in deities?

I know the feeling. My family's current cats are more demanding and piggy than the previous one.

Oh that's a good on! Some of the old Greek deities were worshipped in quite different ways than their Roman replacements, so you can have a priestess who is forced to adapt to different methods of worship, or even a brief period of being unable to pray to her deity after s/he is killed, only to have her prayers answered later on by a completely different voice.

I tend to be best at writing knightly types and wizard types, or some combination thereof, so could also include some healer/patient stuff like you stated above, as priestesses in fantasy and mythology tend to have mystical healing powers. If you want, of course.
