honestly you should just make a guidebook you your 40k canon

it wouldn't surprise me if you made codex entries for all the important characters so you could, if you want to, use them in zone mortalis or full on battles

like, weould the nebula corps be troop choices or elites, for example

Ironically I did make rules for the characters sometime back around 5th or 6th edition. Lost it when that computer died. It was aimed for more killteam level games than general 40K.

Paint has been kind enough to give me a summary of what I missed. Game plan is to read through the IC’s then I’ll back fill the reserved space I made for ground war.

Please bear-in-mind that the 1010th army group and General Zindelo Velius will not take the killing, parading and burning of innocents kindly. They spent the aftermath of their last reclaimation playing police action: keeping public order, retraining the Telfus PDF and using the army groups manpower to re-establish civil infrastructure. Our current reclaimation efforts, the Cadians at least, planned to have the situation turn out better than their Telfus one (which it won’t but they don’t know that). Their transit period consisted of, not only preparation for the on-coming conflict, but cultural and language training (at least the most common tongues).

If that means appeasing the locals with executions (of any Cadians found doing these acts), severe disciplinary actions, the diversion of army group war material, aid or food stocks going to the locals in order to save face. Then it will be done.

If any war crimes happen to take place where Cadians are in any force, expect them to attempt to intervene. The majority of the attempts would be non-lethal force, things like grappling and wrenching soldiers away from civilians. For the Cadians our current conflict has all the complexities of the Afghanistan war.

So I definitely won’t stop you from playing out your scene, but the Cadians are going to be seriously pissed that you just made their jobs even harder.

What can I say? I'm catching up. Also, it doesn't seem to have happened yet. As we're still in the space port.

So, it's a warning to what will happen IC if any war crimes happen.

I know I was just laughing about how I said it

the funny thing about war crimes is they are hard to punish if you're on the winning side

Whilst victors justice is a thing, and your church militia are untouchable thanks to different organisations and their relationships in 40k. You can expect no further help (unless absolutely necessary) from the Cadians, or Sarusians for that matter. Cadians from their past experience, and Sarusians due to what happened with Tarpeian on Sarus. Which caused generational damage, destroyed uncountable unique cultures and seeing/hearing about these sickening acts by the church will get Colonel Willibrood to question their regiments support in the conflict.
