I’ll tailor the power level of the NPC opponents to be a reasonable match for each player team, but superheavies will be doing their own thing - possibly on a whole other planet!

Jarn will be pulling most of the front line duty, but I will be developing some other characters as necessary down the chain of command.

I think its fair to split the Titans up. Savik technically isn't in command but his role will look alot like a strategic commander, as his job is to interface with the munitorum command structure and ensure the best outcomes for the Titans while also fulfilling the wishes of the Warmaster.

And he will be more than happy to introduce the secessionists to the technology of peace. . .

To everyone:

I'm going to be hewing as closely to the tabletop as possible, rather than the more 'op' depictions of titans that have been seen. This makes them tough, but not unbeatable. And if they become to overshadowing in a theatre, i have a couple of 'get out' clauses to put a stop to them (mainly based around precarious internal Imperial politics)

But having a room by room sweep of a Baneblade would actually be kind of awesome. A bunch of guardsmen roll up just under the sponsons and clamber on the tank then fight their way to a hatch to clean it out. While facing both the crew and the machine spirit of the tank.

That actually does sound pretty awesome. Just remember to bring a melta charge, because it would be embarrassing to rock up to a locked hatch, not be able to get it open, and be unceremoniously blasted off the hull by the machine guns of the tank behind.
