What kind of weapons would these war wagons be armed with? I could see you using them as improvised heavy weapon teams. With autocannons, lascannons, mortars, heavy bolters, or multi-meltas. Depending on the route you choose and what the others say.

You certainly won’t be the first person bringing horses to the table. Paint has a dragoon regiment and Julianus has his own trusty steed, but you might be the first with heavy weapons mounted on horse and cart.

I had considered whether the Minor's would have heavier weapons drawn by caissons...however I'm inclined to believe they'd forgo them for more special weapons and lighter, trooper mobile missile launchers and heavy stubbers.

It may also be that the Patriots would rather those field grade heavy weapons used in line regiments on the front, rather than a relatively green horse mounted regiment tasked with constabulary duties on Marioch.

they can be armored heavy weapons mounts, such s for mortars, or can also provide mobile barricades as well line them up and shore up some defense.
