All part of her clever plan not to be taken immediately seriously by her peers and to slightly manipulate non-Mechanicus with her rather nubile feminine form.

But mostly she's there to make Viz's life slightly more difficult since she doesn't have a dog in the race concerning the sub-sector which will hopefully entertain people at least a little bit.
