Dislikes: Dishonesty, deserts, mindless slaughter.
Bio: Yn is the son of the current Matriarch Guardian, born near the end of winter. He was born in the northern tribe lands, a thankful moment as he was a month past his due date. He was an adventurous child, always trying to escape the nursery and explore the lands, quick to take to the mountains when he was finally able to.
He ended up bonding with a newborn red deer, the two having butt heads for the most part of their time together. Though they had bickered and fought most of the time, they were nearly inseparable from each other despite their quarrels. This was only strengthened when they became bonded. They worked and played together, their days ending with them covered in scrapes and bruises yet always together.
When he was tested, Yn was proven to have a strong connection to Earth, and with his strength, he was deemed a hunter, and some even believed him to become the next War chief when he became of age for candidacy. He didn't much care for the position, focusing more on just becoming a strong hunter and living up to the honor of his mother.
On his first hunt after receiving his Okhota, he and Faur became separated from the group. During the time he managed to find himself inside a Giant's village, a close neighbors and trade partners of his village. Spending a full day there, he didn't return back to the tribe until late at night, having been collected by the war chief and Matriarch Guardian. While he was scolded fiercely, he didn't allow that to kill the joy he had spending the day with the Giants.
That year, as both punishment and training, he was left behind in the tribeland during the winter migration. It was both a trying and enjoyable time, being allowed to show his skill, yet saddened as this was the first time having to spend so long away from his mother and father. Eventually he became a permanent guard at the tribe, spending his Winters in the foothills and with the Giants when possible, or training with Faur in the frozen nothern lands.
On his fifth year, when he turned 17, his small tribe was attacked while he was out hunting. The winter had been harsh and food scarce, as several heavy storms and blanketing snowfall had driven off most of the wild animals. The tribe was attacked by a disparate group of bandits looking for food. He came back to his tribe on fire and everyone dead. The animals were missing and even he could already tell they were dead. The houses were ransacked and destroyed, everything of value stolen or destroyed. The greatest pain of it, aside from the death, was the loss of each Ohkota. His heart grew stoney that day, promising the dead that he would reclaim their staffs so he could allow their spirits to finally sleep peacefully in the afterlife.

“Lord's can you make a bigger mess of yourself?” Faur asked his partner, eyeing Yn as the young man tore through another hunk of roasted boar meat. The young man responded with tearing off another chunk of meat and staring as he ate slovenly. Faur gave a grumbled sigh before kicking a small pebble at his brother. Yn chuckled and cleared his throat with a swig from his water skin. Letting out a hearty sigh he wiped off the remains of cooked fat, setting the meat by the fire.
“Why be so uptight about appearances man, no one out here cares what we look like, prolly save the wanderin spirit. Hoity toity mule.” Yn responded with a chuckled smile, licking his lips clean again beside the crackle of firewood.
“One should always pride oneself on their appearance, for unless you can respect yourself, how could others?” Faur lectured the man, closing his eyes and posing a bit. The only response he got was a clod of dirt getting tossed at his chest, splattering him in mud and grass seed.
“And I do take pride in it. I come off as a strong man..”
“In need of a river to jump in.” Faur cut in.
“Oi, you wanna go?” Yn responded, standing up from the stump he had made his resting spot. Faur responded in kind, standing and lowering his head, the flames dancing off the antlers on his head. Yn charged his brother, tackling the deer as the two began to scuffle. Laughter and shouts filled the lonely campsite as they fought, tussling on the ground with the bugs watching the two fight. As soon as it had started, they ended, Yn resting against Faur near the fire.
“So, tomorrow we join them. Are you sure this is right?” Faur questioned.
“Yes. It's the best. They know this land better than you and I along with having a better idea where to find these bandits.” Yn responded, the warmth fading from his voice.
“I will join them, so that they can help me find them. Soon, my brothers and sisters will be able to rest in peace. The war chief allowed me to do this, so I cannot fail. So rest up Faur, tomorrow our hunt shall begin anew.” Yn spoke, the steel in his voice echoing around the crackling flames. He allowed silence to fill the inky night as the stars winked above him, silent companions as he nodded off.
