Koti: Ok I'm sure it's explained in the race but a 17 year old kid being over 7 feet tall and 300 pounds doesn't sit well with me. And the spells are good, just describe what the Soul Draw exactly does
Spoiler: Balder of Stonestead
Name: Balder of Stonestead
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Appearance(pic and/or description)
Spoiler: Balder
Balder is a prime example of his people. 15 feet tall weighing nearly 1,000 pounds of hard muscle. Built to move mountains in the rock quarry in his Homestead. While like all Giants his people are tall and slow, but unlike them the residents of Stonestead are all heavily built individuals. Balder himself is heavier built than average with lanky black hair and steady obsidian eyes.
Usually dressed as above the armor is used to protect from falling rocks and the unexpected bandits that try to interfere with the trade caravans.
Race: Giant
Role within the company: Quartermaster/Artilleryman
Racial Skills and Abilities (limit of 4)
Powerful: Strong enough to rip a giant boulder from the side of a mountain and hurl it across a 100 foot field.
Tough: Like all Giants, Balder can withstand great deals of damage from both physical and some magical attacks.
Resistance: Like his naturally tough body his constitution is equally as powerful being able to allow him to resist diseases and poisons.
Endurance: Tied in with the rest of his physical abilities his endurance is extremely deep and can carry him on for a full day and then some.
Normal Skills and Abilities(limit of 5)
Hammerblow: Because of his size and strength he can easily wield all kinds of heavy two-handed weapons and many heavy things that aren't necessarily meant to be weapons.
Beast friend: A normal skill for Giants, Balder has a knack for dealing with animals, Dusha Kin, and Beastfolk.
Patience: There is an old Human saying. "If you must be fierce, be fierce like an Orc, if you must be cunning, be cunning like an Elf, and if you must be patient, be patient like a Giant." Giants are known as careful and patient beings who never rush into anything. Balder exemplifies this perfectly.
Artilleryman: His job among the Giants of Stonestead was a Slinger. Or a member of the Demolition crew that broke down unstable walls or opened up new sections of the quarry. His job was using a giant sling shot loaded with boulders the size and shape of a human male's torso to bust through the rocks. This has translated to him being the long range heavy support the Rogue's Gallery needs sometimes. Not pinpoint accurate, but able to cause some massive damage in a short time.
Head for business: When he wasn't working the Demo crew Balder was getting his feet wet as a trader. Moving the valuable stone and materials to various places around Eisignol, at first he was just an apprentice, but soon he took over for the old Caravaneer that trained him and it eventually led him to the door step of the Rogue's Gallery. The Guildmaster wanted to reinforce the mead hall and Balder was given the contract for supplies. He liked Guildmaster Harken and the adventures he partook in. The Giant got bit by the wanderlust bug and convinced the Elders to let him be the sole owner of the Rogue's Gallery contract then got himself hired on as the Quartermaster. His large size and huge strength meant the group wouldn't need to worry about oxen or wagons much and Harken loved saving money where he could.
Weapons(Limit of 4 weapons)
Slinger's Hammer: A warhammer made of the hardest stone while smaller than the Breaker's Hammer being only 10 feet tall and weighing just 500 pounds instead of as tall and heavy as the giant wielding it. It gives enough pop to collapse the side of a quarry.
Slingshot: Like his hammer, the Slingshot is a tool he trained on when working the quarries. Made of a sturdy yet supple oak tree and the specially worked skin of a mammoth it can fire a boulder accurately to about 75 yards. Anything past that will require a spotter.
Utility Blade: A large single edged blade used in close quarters combat or for work around the camp. About five feet long.
Armor(one sensible suit of armor): Just the armor in the image.
Equipment: The bulk of the company's supplies, along with fire making tools, extra boulder ammo, food and water supplies for himself, his tent and bedroll.
Personality: Like all Giants, Balder is a slow-paced individual, unlike many of them his expected gentle demeanor is jaded slightly by being a long-range trader. He's been far from the gentle plains of central Eisignol and seen a lot of stuff that has made him harden himself against it. While still kind and understanding he comes across as very gruff to most people even those in the Gallery, but the long days and nights on the road have turned him into a deep-thinking and philosophical man. Though he still works hard to keep himself from crushing anyone by accident.
Likes: Dagur Harken, wide-open spaces, clear night skies, a good deal, and philosophy.
Dislikes: Closed in or tight spaces, thunderstorms, getting screwed on a deal, uppity people.
Spoiler: Background
Balder was born 35 years ago to Sif and Lief. Giants rarely have more than one child at a time, but the thing about a Homestead is it's more like a huge family than a village. He may not have had any siblings, but he had cousins for days. The routine was one of his favorite parts of life in Stonestead. Everyday they'd wake up at dawn, eat a healthy breakfast, then dive right into work.
Stonestead was a quarry mainly, but they had farms that needed tending and animals that needed feeding. That was the job of all young Giants in Stonestead, Balder was always a big boy and this led him to taking the hardest jobs and proving himself a good member of the Stead. He loved his home and never wished to leave it he even dreamed of being on the Council someday. This dedication and drive propelled him to jumping on the first chance he got to work in the Quarry and the Demo Crew. Not many young Giants got the chance to join the danger taunting group and Balder saw it as his chance to make something of himself. He finally believed he'd found his place in the community and was content to live the rest of his days as a Slinger until he got elected to the Council.
Though that changed ten years ago when he got injured in an avalanche and had to take a less dangerous job. This led him to being apprenticed to a trader, at first he was reluctant thinking the soft life of a Trader was a waste of Giant's natural gifts. Though he quickly learned just how vital they were to keeping the Homestead alive. Soon he turned his natural drive for greatness to excelling as a Trader. He learned all he could from his master Dolf and was glad to take over for the old rock when the time came. Though little did Balder know taking over would be the biggest change in his life. He didn't realize how much Dolf shielded him from until some backstabbing Dwarves tried to cheat him out his his load of marble. He busted their heads easily enough, but it opened his eyes to how idyllic his home at Stonestead was. But he had made a promise to Dolf to take care of his caravan and Balder never broke a promise so he carried on with greater care and eventually he found himself working alongside Dague Harken and the Rogue's Gallery as their Quartermaster and funnily enough their heavy artillery. Despite being raised as a pacifist he knew helping the group would in turn help him and his Homestead. And a Giant should always work towards the betterment of the Homestead.

Spoiler: The Homestead Games
Once a year Giants from all over Eisignol come together on the shores of Blue Stone Lake to partake in the Homestead Games. A series of athletic events and celebration commemorating the Giant's Exodus from the Shrouded Isles far to the West. They are the rumored homelands of their ancestors that were swallowed up by tremendous turmoil from deep within the heart of the earth. Only twelve families supposedly escaped and the Blue Stone Lake was the first settlement of their people.
While no one Homestead claims the shores retired Giants live here year around the maintain the grounds and keep the land as pure as possible fending off invaders and disasters until death finally claims them. And every year without fail they make sure the shores are ready to receive the collection of Giants to partake in the Homestead Games. Merchants of every race come from all over to sell their wares and this year for the first time Balder is here as a Merchant rather than a competitor. He was carrying exotic spices from Ophier, fine Giant-sized jewelry and weapons, and various trinkets from the other reaches of Eisignol. He didn't expect much business, and as he heard the commencement bell his heart yearned to be on the fields with his brothers and sisters. He still held the record for longest boulder throw and longest win streak in wrestling. The officials told him his records were perfectly safe, but he knew better every year there were younger and more hungry Giants coming to make their name in the Games. A good win in the Games could get a youngling fame and adoration especially among the opposite sex.
He could hear the cheers from his stand and just let out a deep sigh focusing on setting up his stall. After a few minuets he'd almost managed to forget about it when a loud yell made him look up. "Oi, lookie here boys Balder the Pillar, great champion of the wrestling ring! Playing shopkeeper instead of competing! Bet he doesn't even have the stuff anymore" The call was followed by loud cheers and boos in his direction. Rolling his eyes Balder studied the young bucks coming his way. He knew them Thor, Sven, and Galder young males from Ironstead to the East of Stonestead. While he wasn't competing this year, he kept track of the athletes out of habit. These three were tough competitors and he few matches he's seen they all relied more on power than skill. In his day Balder could've easily wiped the floor with them. Now he just wanted to sell his wares and get back to Balefire.
But he knew the look in Thor's eyes and the young females around them were blushing and whispering at the young male's firm bodies and how well they filled out their competition loincloths. Once more Balder rolled his eyes standing to his full height to study them, the average Giant was 10 to 12 feet tall. The three boys were maybe 11 apiece that put Balder a full four feet over their heads, but while they slowed their forward pace they didn't stop. Thor had dropped a challenge and while it was encouraged to keep things like this solely for the arena, no one was going to stop a little out of bounds spat. And from the amused looks the older Giants were giving the boys they were looking forward to seeing them knock down a few pegs.
Thor reached Balder's stall first placing his hands on the roof he began pushing it around making some of the merchandise fall to the ground luckily nothing broke, but the Quartermaster wasn't going to let them get the chance. Coming quickly around to the front he grabbed Thor's shoulder and lifted the sprat up and off the ground before shoving him back into his friends. The angry and shame that crossed his face were like a wildfire in the forest, and he reacted before Balder could do anything else. Ducking low he speared into Balder's waist trying to scoop his legs out from under him. Like the residents of Stonestead the Giant's of Ironstead were of a stockier build than other Giants. And while the attack certainly hurt Balder had taken worse, but this kid had annoyed him enough already and he couldn't risk his store getting damaged. Dropping his own level he looped his arms around under Thor's torso and with a tremendous grunt he lifted the young Giant up off the ground and flipped him over his shoulder. The young buck shouted in rage and shame and tried to fight from his back, but Balder had him and without any ceremony he carried the arrogant little fuck to the large fountain in the middle of the marketplace and dunked him headfirst into it. His buddies were quick to pull him out, but the damage was already done. Thor was pissed and ashamed, but he kept his composure and quickly made his way back to the arena at least there he could regain from honor.
Balder didn't care much, and wasn't worried about his records anymore. If punks like Thor were the best this generation had those records will probably never be broken. He chuckled to himself as he put his shop back in order and began shouting to passersby to bring them to his counter and pay for his meal ticket back home.

Umbra's looks just like his picture, but his eye are normally ice blue when he is not angry or right after feeding. Then his eyes are a bright red. He stands at 5’9, 170 lb.
Race: Vampire
Role within the company: Information gathering, warrior
Racial Skills and Abilities (limit of 4)
Blood Sight - This is an ability that allows Umbra to see a person's past by consuming their blood. There is nothing he can learn about a person or what they have done in their lives. The more blood he consumes the more knowledge he can gain. A little blood gives him the knowledge of the last couple of days, and it increases with the amount. He will learn everything in a person's past if he takes all of their blood.
Warp - This ability is nothing more than a massive increase in speed to the point where human think that it is a form of magic that stops time so the vampire can move. Umbra can move in an instant for short distances. However, if he hasn't fed for more than a week he is unable to use this ability.
Telekinesis - Umbra is able to move objects at his whim. Like using his swords without having them in his hands. This allows him to fight more than one person at a time, or he can condens this ability into a force that can be sent at a person to force them backwards. The force depends on if he is going to hurt/kill, or just push the person away.
Regeneration - HIs ability to regenerate depends on what injuries he has sustained. If is is an injury caused by the sun or fire he has to drink blood to be able to heal his wounds. Most other injuries can be healed normally since he heals ten times faster than a normal human. However, there are some injuries that will take him time to heal even with drinking blood, and can be fatal if not treated. Any injury sustained by a silver blade or by holly water. These injuries have to be treated or the infection caused by the addition of them to his system will kill him.
Normal Skills and Abilities(limit of 5)
Frost Forge - This is a powerful form of Magic that allows Umbra to control Ice and form ice out of thin air using magic. He can send a wave of cold air, or make ice projectile that he can control with his Telekinesis. He is also able to make walls of ice to shield himself and his allies.
Shadow Call - This spell allows Umbra to move through the shadows, or conceal himself in a dark room. Though it doesn't make him invisible but just harder to see.
Eternal Eyes - This spell allows him to not only see in the dark, but allows him to piggyback it with the shadow call spell to see through the shadows to find people he is looking for, find traps, or spy on people.
Sword skills - decades of learning how to fight with a sword has granted him the ability to fight with all blades.
Weapons(Limit of 4 weapons)
Necorclave - is a short sword that has a black blade with a copper colored handel. The sheath is made from ebony wood. This blade has been enchanted to poison the cursed.
Equipment:
Dragon scale hooded cloak - This cloak is made for the scales of a fire dragon, and protects Umbra from the sun during the day time when he is forced to go out during the day.
Three small vials of blood, a moon stone bracelet, two books on music, a cherry wood pipe with three different types of tobacco to smoke, and a flint.
Personality: Umbra is unusual for a vampire. Even throughout his long life he has never been able to completely keep his emotions under control. Most of the time he is calm and calculated. Thinking a situation through before committing himself to action. He has become protective of his new family since the loss of his clan. However, he doesn't show them companionship. Becoming more serious than he used to be can turn off some of his guild mates, but to him that is their problem. He still doesn't have complete control over his emotions and can become angry if some fool messes with the guild.
Likes: His guild mates, books about the arts, folk music, and smoking
Dislikes: Sun, Fire, People that take advantage of others, Hunters, and Lycans
Background: Being born so long ago Umbra has no idea what his childhood was like or the faces of his parents. All he knew was the Elder that was the ruler of the small convent of vampire’s. They lived deep in the mountains where humans rarely came a calling. It was a safe place for many generations. The Elder choose the oldest of his children to become his successor, and that just happened to be Umbra.
Training under the elder for more than 3,000 years he learned the art of magic from him, and used it to learn ice, and shadow magic's. As well as how to wield a blade. Continuing to grow in his power, and becoming stronger every day from the training and learning. He became a powerful vampire who's only equal was the Elder. He loved his life, and learned to control his blood lust to the point he would be able to go at least go a month without feeding. However, that made him extremely weak in the process. So, he decided that he would need to feed at least once every two to three weeks to keep himself strong enough to defend his people if need be.
Then the day of destiny approached. The day the Elder was going to enter his eternal slumber, and pass on the protection of their clan to Umbra. On the appointed day the Elder, and Umbra entered the forest that surrounded the village and when deeper into the mountain. The ritual was nothing too special, but in the eyes of the Elder it was still something that needed to be done.
The ritual consisted of the new Elder killing the old elder so he may enter his eternal slumber. The easiest way to kill a Vampire was to decapitate them. So, in accordance with the ritual Umbra killed his Elder, and buried his ashes in the mountain. The last part of the ritual that would need to be completed was for the village to anoint him by giving him some of their blood. However, this last step was never able to be consummated.
When he returned to the village it was on fire, and all of his clansmen were dead. Either burning at the steak, or liking on the ground with their heads removed from their bodies. Though the culprits were easy to pinpoint. It seemed a clan of hunters came into town with a pack of lycans and designated the small vampire clan. He was left alone and angry about the fact they decided to butcher his clan when their defenses were diminished.
Two hunters stayed behind to clean up the stragglers when they came upon Umbra crying over the loss of his clansmen. The men laughed as they captured Umbra and tortured him. Tiring the distraught Vampire to a chair the proceeded to use fire to burn him, though a lot slower than they did with his clansmen. They wanted to make him suffer more than he already had. So, they waited till the sun began to rise and waited to watch as the vampire burned to death in the sun. However, this was their mistake. Umbra finally came back to his senses as the sun started to burn his skin, and he broke through the restraints, and proceeded to kill the two men. Using their blood to heal his injuries.
After everything was said and done and he buried his people he decided to hunt down the hunters that killed his clan. One night in a tavern he was sitting in a corner watching the people that were drinking and having a good time, he was in the corner by himself. Then out of nowhere an older man approached him, and sat at the table beginning a conversation with Umbra. Once everything was said as done Umbra decided to join the Rogue’s Gallery. He has been a member now for about a year.
Spoiler: Other:
As the sun was setting and the sky becoming painted in reds and oranges. A lone man was walking down the road with a cloak covering his head and features. Deciding that it would be best to stop for a moment and make camp. In a chance to find something to eat. It had been about three weeks since he was able to feed and he needed to keep his strength up.
Setting up camp in the forest he built a small fire using kindling and a flint stone. He waited by the fire as twilight gave way to night. His mind wandering to the past as he just sat there watching the flames dance in the moonlight. His mind went back to a time when he was with others of his kind. The day of the ceremony for him to ascend to Elder.
However, his thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of footsteps making their way through the forest towards him. A slight smile crossed his face as he just sat there as he waited for whoever was there to make themselves known. When the sounds died out there were two men standing on each side of the Vampire though they were unaware of this.
“Well, Well look at what we have here. A little mouse seeking shelter in our forest.”
“Yes it looks like it.”
Bothe men chuckled as the lifted Umbra to his feet. And pulled him a little aways from the fire as one of them stepped in front of the man and the other behind him. They were confident in what they were doing and that would be their downfall. They should no better than to attack travelers.
“Now if you pay our tool then you just might be able to get out of this forest alive.”
The thief said as he placed a hand on the travelers shoulder. Looking into his eyes for only a second before the thieves color drained from his face and his eyes went wide as he realized what he had gotten into. A smile crossed his face as he grabbed the man.
I think Vel's going to get mistaken for a rouge at first, assuming the group doesn't know each other well and might just know of each other before forming our little party. Slight hooded figure that's what you'd think until she suddenly pulls a two handed axe out of her cloak and and cleaves something in half.
Yn is going to have fun with this group, as Long as no one tries to easy Faur
