    Oh such words only stroked her ego. How lovely. He had a good mouth, she'd be eager to find what else he could do for her. Belit thanked the prince graciously for his compliments. Cut off before conversation could continue much further, the redhead was impressed to find their meal ready. Really? It hadn't been so long. They moved fast. Impressive. Allowing the prince to escort her, she took her seat and lounged back. how comfortable these pillows were, She wouldn't mind spending time getting to know him in this setting.

    "Perhaps not, they are simply my preference. I find the Ambrosia far too sweet for my taste. It coats the tongue and leaves you unable to converse properly. Wine tends to be served, mild wine of course. A sweet day sort. " Explained the woman, happily keeping her gaze on the handsome prince, How lovely this was. A dashing man and a fine feast. Belit couldn't have been happier, within reason.

    "What sort of foods do you prefer, my liege? What are the customs of this land. I daresay I am eager for education on such matters." She played with her hair as she watched him, letting him begin to eat before taking a piece of fig and bringing it to her lips. "If you wouldn't mind... educating me in such a way."

    Such a sight she was to behold, Ea thought to himself. To see her before the window like that, The king couldn't help but grin as he stepped inside. Oh, this was a fine sight after all. This wouldn't be a regret in any way. Lovely as she was, he would have to lecture her. Sending the guard away wasn't acceptable. She needed to be kept under strict observation. He raised his brow as she came forward, trying to defend the servant. Really, such a strange thing to do. She owed him nothing, why did she protect him so? Ea raised his hand, effectively telling her to hold her tongue as he spoke.

    "I have been informed, my little songbird, that you are hungry. Come... Join me for my morning meal." Purred the king, looking her up and down once more. "A sight such as yourself shall make it taste far sweeter."

    That was a fair question. Getting to know each other was proving an ample distraction from Lita and Shadox's disappearance. He began to describe for her the incredible delicacies that the people cooking would prepare at royal request. There were perfect egg dishes that involved different meats and cheeses all wrapped together, fruit displays that rivalled anywhere in the world, and delicious treats of desserts that he promised she had never tasted before in her life.

    When he finished, he had himself another egg. He kept his eyes happily on her and then decided on a question. Amenhotep smiled over to her. "How many children do you endeavour to have?" he asked her curiously. If he was to marry a woman, it would be good to know how many adorable rugrats he could expect to be running around.

    "I don't assume that would be up to me, Sire." Remarked the woman, taking her bread and enjoying it with the fresh honey made available. She seemed pleased with this set up, her legs gracefully folded beneath her.

    Another perfect answer. Amen had a smile on his face but he eyed her suspiciously for a moment. "There is nothing that you have told me so far that would make me even consider another woman and you claim you've spoken truthfully. I cannot see that you're lying and so I'm wondering..." he said before pausing a moment to eat a date. "What is it about you that should scare me off?" There was nothing that he could do in order to make her blink an eye. He had almost attacked her advances last night when he felt there was more that he could do, he had insisted without permission that she be held in the palace so he could entertain himself some more. There was a ridiculous amount of things that could have pushed her off and she had no traits that he found unappealing. She didn't whine, or complain, or gossip. It was incredible. There had to be something.

    The forward question perhaps caught her off guard, genuine shock across that rather lovely face of hers. When did royals become this blunt and strait forward. Where was the fun in this? She tucked her hair behind her ear and moved so her legs hung over the arm of the chair.

    "That would depend on what scares a strong man like yourself, your highness." Teased Belit, grinning as she regained her composure.

    Finally he caught her. She was shocked at bluntness. She enjoyed the chase of a man. There it was. Now a curious question of would she dream of chasing another man while he was with her? It would be interesting to find. But if she wanted to play coy, he could entertain her until their breakfast was over.

    "There are few things, for sure," he told her. "I never imagined I would worry about my sister being rescued, that is for certain," he said honestly before he agreed with himself to play her game. "But it terrifies me to think that my marriage bed might not be enough for a wife of mine," he told her almost enchantingly.

    The compliments that were dripping in desire were becoming more and more insistent. It was ridiculous to think that he actually wanted any part of her for more than her body. Still, this was the way it was going to be until she found a way to get out of there so she was going to put up with it. With a gracious nod of acceptance, she walked with him back into the hallway and to wherever the dining room was.

    "So how long have you reigned over your kingdom?" she asked him, merely trying to make conversation as they walked through the halls. As they walked, she made sure to take note of where the extra passages were and the direction that they were taking. It would be important to find her way back around again.

    "Long enough, you needn't concern yourself with such matters." Replied the king, his arms behind his back as he walked with the girl. Thankfully, the walk was rather short.

    Of course that would be his answer. A short, non-revealing answer where he could mean literally anything. What kind of way was that to start a conversation? "What would you prefer I concern myself with?" she asked as she followed him into a grand dining room. The size was the same as their own but the opulence and grandeur was ostentatious at best.

    " Trivial matters, at least for now." His implication was quite clear. "Perhaps for a wedding ceremony."

    Lita had to control herself from laughing. How was it that this man had gotten anywhere with women? Necolita raised an eyebrow towards him. "Am I your first wife?" she asked him. Really though, if she was, it would make sense that he had stolen her. He couldn't get a woman on his own. "Every noble woman has had their wedding planned since they were a child," she informed him before sitting at the table.

    "Would you really concern yourself with such things? Why would the number of wives I possess matter in the least?" Remarked Ea, raising his brow as a servant lead her to her own seat. The king seated himself as he usually did, servants bringing him paperwork. There was much business to tend to. Hopefully there would be word from her father.

    Lita followed the servant and sat as she was bid. As she did, she heard the word choice he used. The number of wives he possessed. So she was a prize. This helped. "It would be much easier for me to know how to please you as your wife if I could speak to them," she said to him honestly. Right now it was play or be punished. She could guess as to what that would mean. Either way, she gave him a soft smile and asked, "Would you like to join me for breakfast, my dear king?" It was time to see quite what she could get away with.

    The woman had barely recovered from her previous blunder when the prince slammed her yet again, this time it was bordering an insult. Her hand clenched around her wine flute for but a moment, was that anger across that sweet face. It was just a flicker regardless, a soft chuckle leaving the woman as she lounged further. Two could play that game. Her gaze leveled with the prince, a tinge of fire to them.

    "Ahhh, Such concerns are understood, my liege. I'd have to relate. The thought of being considered one of many... You understand them. Marvelous." Started the woman, leaning forward a tad and plucking a piece of fig from a plate. "The custom of taking so many wives... It's strange, no? Why spread effort so far and wide with limited results. I've always felt once diligent woman is worth more than a dozen lofty and lazy harem girls." It was far from what he'd assumed of her, perhaps she was quite the opposite.

    Amenhotep smiled at her answer. He hadn't expected her to suggest something so radical. Most women understood the need for multiple wives. His father though rarely had other partners and had only taken one wife. Either way. This could get fun. "Now the question, dear Belit, is not if the custom is strange but if one diligent woman could satisfy all the needs of a future pharaoh," he commented.

    Such a game he had decided to play. It earned him a playful chuckle, the smirk across her face seemed to widen as she set down her glass. If that was how he wanted to play, she would happily do so. She hadn't had the time to play with this mortal body of hers yet either. Her slow shifting in position while maintaining eye contact with the king. Slowly but surely, she was half across the table, her gaze boring into him.

    "Perhaps, Dear prince... " Started Belit , in a bold gesture running her finger from the man's collar bone to his chin. "There is merit to demonstration of such things, instead of postulation."

    "There are none for you to converse with, little songbird. They have long since been relieved of their duties. "And I believe we are seated at the same table, so I am, in fact, joining you for a meal." He hardly looked up from his paperwork, giving the guard who delivered it quite the glare as he remarked of not hearing back from the king. Really, why would he not have received word of such things yet. The letter had to have arrived, so why was there no response? He grabbed his glass, motioning towards it in aggravation. The terrified servants wasted no time in filling it.

    It was silent for a while, the king working over papers and scrolls. But soon he was finished, the food arriving and distracting him. He had been up all night, a hearty meal would help him keep his energy up for the rest of the day. His dark gaze settled upon the girl, a smirk crossing that fantastically sculpted face of his. Perhaps he could play with his little toy a bit more.

    "That seat seems so far from me, little one." Mused the king, "Perhaps there is one more comfortable here?" He pat his lap, beckoning her closer. There was little she could do to refuse him, but he would wait as patiently as he could.

    The demonstration served its purpose. It gave a good distraction to him. With his sister kidnapped and his idiot brother run away he needed this moment of pleasure to satisfy something more. He had wanted blood last night and he hadn't gotten it. This had been a way of release that would prevent anyone else from getting hurt. He had ministered to her needs as much as she had ministered to his and now they laid both sated and content beside each other.

    But it wasn't to last. Amenhotep was being plagued with ideas and plans to go and fight along side his brother. He needed to be involved. Just sitting here and gaining a first wife was not a part of his plans. Of course, this woman lying next to him would be ideal. She was willing to be content to submit to him, she honoured him, and she was fantastic in bed. What more could he need of a wife? He would have to tell his father of his decision before he asked her but he would still have to make his offer. One day wasn't truly long enough to court a woman but he had been lucky that up until now he hadn't been given an arranged marriage.

    Leaning over, he kissed her temple before he sat up from the bed and started moving about the room. He went and grabbed a loincloth and a wrap for the day. He didn't dress his torso as he had every intention of going and training with the soldiers at least for some time today. "I'm going to speak to my father. Feel free to move about as you wish. Make sure you take two guards with you anywhere out of this wing. I don't want you to go missing too," he said to her. He looked back to her with an intense look before he nodded to her and then left the room.

    Necolita did not seem at all impressed with his response of him joining her for a meal. "Dear king, I see a wall of paperwork more than I see your beautiful face. How can I have a meal with you when you're hidden from me?" she asked him. It was almost a challenge but she hoped her tone played it down enough that he wouldn't take it as her trying to have control. When he asked for her to come closer, she knew what he wanted. It was fairly clear.

    Regardless, she stood and walked over to where the chair was next to him. She sat in it instead and said, "Though your lap would be considerably more comfortable, I would hate to possibly drop something on you. I'm afraid my body still hasn't fully woken up from the forced nap I had." She was still exhausted and felt more weak than she was willing to admit. From here too he wouldn't be able to force himself in or on her without her being aware of it first.

    Well, that had been something she’d lacked for a long time, a worthy partner in the bedroom. He had performed well for a mortal. More than well, fantastically. She could have entertained him far longer, but that’d be pushing her luck. Belit knew better than to push her luck so early. She was earning her place, after all. She watched contently from where she laid, her bright red hair splayed over the silken sheets and pillows below her. Her body shifted so she could watch him, not an ounce of shame within her as she remained on display for his enjoyment. The small affection earned a content chuckle from her. With it, she sat up to watch him more carefully.

    “Of course, my liege. As you wish.” Purred the redhead, heeding the prince’s wishes. “I will send for my servants and some new garments of the day and remain in this wing. Perhaps I will offer my help to the queen. May your council with the Pharaoh be fruitful. If you wish to find me, simply send for me and I will come.” Her voice was still so sultry and yet refined. Speaking with poise and grace, and moving with the same. The foreigner bowed to the prince as he left, not letting him see the smirk across her face as she sat there. Yes... this would work well. Or so she told herself.

    Waiting patiently, Belit only moved when she was sure he was well and gone, sending for her servants and clothes. She nibbled at the food that was still left upon their table, lounging about in the buff. There was no shame in relaxing after working so hard.

    The king only raised an eyebrow as the girl spoke. Already she was fighting his will. A smart young thing, she only did so when showering him with compliments. He cleared his throat and glanced towards her rather sternly. She would not get away with such an attitude. Her concerns were fake and he could tell. He was not in the mood to humor her.

    “I do believe I told you to sit here, princess.” Remarked the man in a low voice, once again patting his lap as if to beckon her closer. “ I will have little tolerance for a bride that does not heed the wishes of her king. “ She would not win this game, not yet. He was still far too imposing a force.

    Amenhotep left the shining pillars and marble of the royal quarters to find his father. he made his way through the palace into the clay areas with the war chambers in it. The kidnapping of royal blood could be met with no less a reaction as far as he was concerned. His sister was missing, his older brother had left in the night to rescue her, and he was forced to stay at home and plan around is brother's stupid notion of going alone to save her. He had to talk to his father about this. The sooner he could leave and be of help, the better.

    He entered the war room expecting to see other generals, his father, and the advisors sitting around the table and planning. Instead, he was stunned to see...no one. Not a soul. There was no one here planning his sister's safe return. His eyes narrowed as he scowled at the empty room, the heat and anger of the night before returning with a passion. His father. Where was his father? He turned, slammed the door closed, and went to look for him. There would be something to answer for here.

    When he eventually did find his father, it was in his council chambers. What might the difference be? Well this room had no maps and was typically used for less than difficult matters as a place to simply discuss every day happenings. It certainly wasn't where he expected his father to be when his only daughter was missing. "Father. What are we doing here?" he demanded, barely wasting time on bowing when they were in the privacy together. "Necolita is missing and Shadox has gone on a foolhardy mission alone to try and bring her back. You're sitting here in your chambers doing nothing to help him!"

    The Pharaoh looked up to his son and shot him a steely glare. "Your sister has been apprehended and your brother has begun a mission that was not suggested or warranted to be necessary. I have sent a messenger to bring him back," he replied to his son. His tone was one that warranted no quarrel. "And your accusing tone will not stand in my presence," he added before standing from his chair and glaring down at his son. The height difference was minimal but from one looking in from the outside it would look like a child only two feet tall pouting up at his six foot father. Of course what Amenhotep did not understand was that the Pharaoh had indeed gotten the letter from Ea and knew what he had to do to save the kingdom. His daughter would be sold for the safety of all the people, a noble purpose for a woman. She would understand. Obviously Amenhotep would not.

    Amenhotep stood in his father's shadow and stared up at him, attempting to control the glare that he knew was plane on his face. He had to think of something and quick. "What must I do to bring the messenger back and go myself?" he asked in a measured tone.

    The Pharaoh shook his head and sat back down. With a deep breath he said, "You must wed and impregnate your new wife," he said simply, showing that it would not be as simple as he hoped. "I told you last night, Amenhotep. I will not lose all of my children. Your brother left without permission and I intend for him to come back. I will chain him in the dungeon if I must to keep him here," he said simply.

    Amenhotep wasn't understanding. Last night they had agreed that Shadox could go. Not on his own of course but why not just send the men that were going to go with him after him rather than a messenger to return him. Something must have changed. Was his father really so scared of King Ea? He shook his head simply, his anger dying slightly though not enough as his confusion was rising. "I will...go speak with Belit," he said simply. "She seems strong enough to bear many children," he said very distracted. He turned and left his father to go find a woman that might be willing to understand his urgency.

    *****

    The tone. The tone was what was scaring her. Either way, she put on a small smile and nodded. "My apologies, my king. I should know that you would have thought of all that already," she said contently as she stood from where she had sat and went to sit on his lap where he had wanted her. As she sat down, she put an arm around his shoulders which helped to hold her chest up to a tempting level. If this was what he wanted, she would have to give it to him for now. She had fooled around with her ladies before. At the very least she knew how to be tempting.

    "Is this more to your liking?" she asked him gently. In all fairness, she really would like to know what he would want to find more tempting. There was only so much that she would be able to do on her own right now.

    This little princess knew what she was doing. Listening well. A thought came to his mind as he gazed upon her form, an arm wrapping around her waist. His strong fingers drew strange figures into her soft skin, his other hand feeding him as he reviewed what he could. His questions had been brief, questions of who she was, her relations with her family. None were proper responses, but the way in which she spoke said much. She would have died for her family. Good. He had leverage. If he had guessed correctly, at least one of the princes would be upon his doorstep. That, would be his ticket to controlling the woman upon his lap. Breaking her into a suitable wife.

    Rumors had been uttered of the strange siblings and their relations to one another. If he was to put money down, he guessed that the eldest would be the one to retrieve his sibling. It was time to see if they were really as close as the stories implied. Wicked thoughts danced about his mind as he maintained what seemed to be pleasant conversation with the young princess. He was stern, but not a savage. Not yet at least.

    ~~~~
    The desert was a cruel mistress, her dry, unbearable days and frigid nights made the travel all that much harder. He’d figured out the direction not too long ago, but getting there would still be a task. One he hoped would be complete soon enough. Perhaps he took it as a mirage in the distance, the sound of weak cobblestone buried in the sand beneath his camel’s feet. Or perhaps not? As the sun slowly began to drop below the horizon, it remained, the dim outline of a grand structure, a city that rivaled the glory of their own, yet there was more to it. The approach took such a long time, the barren dunes giving him no solace.
    His little Lita, she was trapped there. It was all that pushed him forward, his skin burnt by the long days in the sun, his body filthy from the winds that whipped the sand back and forth. He’d taken the barest of supplies, and even they were too much. He would have to leave it all to scale the walls when he got there. Steeling himself, Shad ushered his horses forward. Praying to the gods, he hoped that his sister would be fine until he arrived. He couldn’t have noticed the dark clouds brewing overhead. The darkness of the night sky masking any foul forces that wandered the city outskirts.
    ~~~

    Three days passed without incident. The seemed far less pushy now, a bit touchy, but no forcing himself upon her or the like. He would maintain himself for now. He seemed to be occupied most days with much work. It was a wonder he even wanted a wife. He had a plan however. He would have to wait just a bit longer, lest the peak of his fun be ruined by improper timing.

    It was evening when the king heard word of just what he’d been praying for. Before he’d managed to arrive, a mage had spotted and dealt with the prince. He was being kept in the nearby dungeons, still disorientated and unable to fight back. The wicked spell that’d been sent out upon him left him as if he’d been poisoned with quite the potent brew. He would live... barely.

    This was just the night for such a beautiful bit of fun. The moon was high, and the girl nearly lulled by his lack of anything other than polite flirting and gentle caresses. There would be a witness to their union now. One of proper status. He was sure the girl was done her evening preening by now. So, the patient war king would now have his fun. He’d been such a good sport about it all, he’d even let the messenger that’d followed the prince survive, sending a message back to the great pharaoh saying he would be keeping the eldest son as a well kept prisoner for the violent entry into his city state. It was a lie, but it would keep the other son at bay for now. Until he could fully take little Lita in his binding chains of sly words and strange magics.

    Once the girl had been brought to his chambers, the king letting himself in with a letter in hand and a nearly wicked grin upon his face. He was dressed in nothing but a fine silk robe, his deeply scarred chest and rugged legs on display as he entered and moved to sit near her on the bed.

    “My little songbird, I do hope you’ve spent your day resting. Tonight is truly an auspicious one... Such news I have.” His voice was a rumbling purr as he spoke, taking her chin in his grasp to make her keep his gaze.

    ~~~
    The days that passed were indeed strange. Belit had been in the presence of the grieving queen when the prince had approached her with an offer she really couldn’t turn down. This was auspicious. In such celestial ways even she couldn’t have predicted their outcome. Pleased didn’t begin to touch upon how perfectly this was all turning out for her. The strange woman spent two nights in the presence of the prince, yet he’d been so stressed she’d opted for simple things, being rather coy, tending to him in wifely ways the servants and other ladies never had. Truly, she was an experienced woman compared to most in this land, but not in the same ways that one would expect.
    Refined in her serving of teas and wines. Eloquent in her words and ethereal in song, It was as if the gods had showered him with a gift. Lest he realize the strangeness that was already about them. She encouraged him to think things through, and that she would play along for a few days till he made his true decision. Even if it left her vulnerable to being usurped by another, her demeanor and the way she conducted herself around the pharaoh and queen further showed just how suited she was to his needs.
    This night was unlike the others however, she was not in his bedchambers when he returned from his day, a note had been left that she was in the baths with the guards posted nearby. And there she would be found, floating in the great tubs. Taking the moonlight and bathing in it near ritualistically. Her handmaids waiting nearby with fine robes. The beautiful creature fully expected him to arrive within moments, how would he take her absence? Would he demand she return to his room? Would he join her? Simply observe while she cleaned herself up? The little viper was practically giddy with the ideas that danced through her head. With the sound of the grand doors opening, she glanced towards the ceilings, a smirk crossed her lips.
    “Good evening, My dear prince....” She purred, knowing full well who it would be standing there.
    Amenhotep had spent three long days sitting...doing...nothing. It was painful in the time it took for him to continue seeing that there was nothing that he was permitted to do to help. The actors had been fed to the dogs after Shadox's command and there was no more informants to be had. Little spies that he could pay found him nothing more than what he had already known: his sister was gone, taken by King Ea, and his brother was supposed to be coming back from going after her.
    He was beyond frustrated and his hope that Belit would make it any easier was flitting away. His proposal had gone horribly wrong and his mother had been there to see his humiliation at her advising him to take a few more days. Who did she think she was asking him to take more time to make a decision? He was a royal prince! She had refused him after seeming so content to be with him the night before. Arranged marriages had met less and here she was deciding that this wasn't the time. That should have been his decision to make! And this time where his brother and sister were gone was not making him less angry.
    Either way, he showed up to his room after an equally frustrating meeting with his father to see the room empty. He had suspicions as there weren't any guards posted but where could she possibly be that wasn't waiting for him? At least there was the decency of a note. In the baths, was she? Well he could certainly join her for that. This was one matter he needed to put to rest, other suitors or not.
    He walked to the baths, a new purpose in mind. He stepped into the antechamber of the baths, maids waiting as guards stood posted keeping their eyes properly set on the doors that others would enter and avoiding looking into the baths at all costs. The maids stepped forward as the prince entered the room and curtsied before helping him undress. Once he was proudly in the nude, they stepped back and allowed him to enter the baths with Belit. "No one else enters," he muttered to the guards before leaving them behind.
    There were a few of her women and his own around the bath tubs waiting for instructions. He walked past them without a glance and into the water where he found the woman he intended to make his wife to be. "Lady Belit," he said in greeting as the warm waters wrapped around him. "I was sorely disappointed to find a letter instead of my lady in wait for me," he said to her silkenly. He may be a fuming hot head but he knew where and when to properly place his anger.
    Necolita spent the days she found herself a prisoner as any noble prisoner would do. He had begun treating her more like a lady than a prisoner, allowing her "freedom" to roam. Of course this freedom came with trained guards. She had not yet earned a lady in waiting for more than help dressing and doing herself up. That was fine by her. She preferred the silence and loneliness to false friendship of a slave that was afraid of her owner.
    Even in three days she hadn't managed to find her proper way around the castle let alone the gardens. There were times the guards would ask her her intended route and then redirect her another way. Sometimes she wondered if they were doing it to confuse her on the king's orders. She wouldn't blame him. It would make the most sense. Either way, evening on the third day came and she was no closer to understanding the layout of the castle or the gardens that surrounded it.
    After dinner she went to the rooms he had assigned to her and met a maid who helped her dress. It was an evening gown, made all the more obvious by the sheerness of it all. She was then wrapped in a robe so that she could walk to the king's chambers. He had made no move thus far at bedding her though it seemed tonight would be the night to have it. She hoped he'd be gentle.
    When she walked in to the room, she saw she was alone. Looking around, the room was more than ornate. It was clear, from the numerous carpets, rich drapes, and gold everywhere, that he had no qualms in hiding his richness. She moved over to his bed and sat on the spread, lush softness underneath her. At least if she was bedded here it would be enjoyable beneath her. Then the king entered and sat down next to her. Though he held her chin to look at him, she had no intentions of looking away. She knew he enjoyed when she looked upon his greatness.
    "I have walked very little and made sure that I would be fully able to do your pleasure tonight," she told him with a perfect smile. His joyous mood did make her ever so slightly suspicious but she wouldn't say so to him. "Now tell me the great news, my king."
    “Tell me, Do you recognize the crest on this letter?” Purred the king, his eyes drifting over her for but a moment before he held the letter out. It was upon fine paper, The faint smell of her home wafting off of it. Flipping it to the back, it revealed her family crest in wax, the letter already opened and read over, obviously. As he opened it, he gave her a bit of a moment to read. As she did so his arm slowly wrapped around her waist, caressing the skin beneath with obvious intention.
    Necolita's look turned concerned as he asked about the letter. She then looked to the letter and noticed the seal. It was her fathers, the crook and rod. What was this? She put a hand to the paper gently as she read it over, him sitting right behind her, her face remaining carefully calculated.
    This wasn't right. It couldn't be! But that was her father's signature and seal. He had agreed?! She was sold...as a prize. Married off. The one thing that she had fought against for years was now a horrid reality for her.
    And the man sitting in front of her was her husband to be. She put a smile on her face though the sparkle couldn't quite make it to her eyes. She put a gentle hand on his cheek and said, "You are right! This is very good news.".
    My, what an obedient little thing she was. Taking this with all the regal grace he had come to expect out of her. The gentle hand upon his cheek was soon removed with a stern grip, his smile unfading as he pulled the girl into his lap.
    “As well, the issue I’ve been addressing most of the day has been.. contained. Unexpected company is always so troubling. However...” One hand held the girl’s wrist, the other snapped his fingers before resting on her waist. She wasn’t moving anytime soon. “There needs to be a witness to this sort of good news . “
    The door to his room opened, an older priest carrying a strong incense lead in a small group. A man masked and bound in chains held between four other men. He was dressed in little more than a flimsy loincloth at this point. Chains wrapped around his wrists and neck. His head had a sack wrapped about it to mask his identity. His tanned skin seemed to be palor, Something very much wrong with the poor creature.
    As he was secured in place, the king seemed to show something other than confidence for the first time. Enjoyment, genuine enjoyment. Truly, this would be an interesting evening. One that would be a great memory for many moons to come. With a nod to the servant nearest them, the bag was ripped off.
    The face of the weakened and battered prince clear as day as he limply hung in the chains secured to the massive pillars of the room. He was weak in this moment, but clung to consciousness. Where was he? What had happened. It was all a blur, a dark, somehow nauseating blur. Coughing feebly, his hands gripped the chains at his wrists. This was a new development... Not entirely what he’d wanted to be in but he could figure out a way to be free of them.
    Without issue, she moved to his lap. If this was going to be the way it was going to go, it would be easiest to go along. As he pinned her to his lap, she leaned in and kissed his neck, facing the door. "You would have your queen for the first time with an audience?" she asked coyly. Then she saw who had been drug in.
    What in the seven Hells was he doing here?! She forced herself not to shake as she kissed his neck again. Shadox looked worse than she had ever seen him. There had to be something she could do. "My dear king, I understand the priest and your men but why is a beaten homeless man chained up in your room?" she asked gently.
    “Do not toy with me, Necolita.” The king’s low growl would be felt through her, like that of a tiger stalking it’s prey. “ You tell me you do not know this man? Your own brother? How cruel of you to toss him aside as such. And after he’s come all this way...” Clearly, he was more than aware of her game. Keeping her situated upon his lap with a still firm hand, he called for the man to be roused from his stupor.
    As the guards poured freezing water upon the prince, he gasped in pain, his dark eyes wide as he stared about the room. Everything was still so hard to focus, but, he could have sworn he saw.. no... He hadn’t made it to the palace yet. Shaking his head desperately, he tried to come to his senses. It took a moment or two longer, the spell finally starting to ease it’s grasp upon him.
    As his eyes finally focused upon his surroundings, his gut dropped. Sheer horror plastered upon his face as he saw his dear sister sitting in the lap of some strange man. He wouldn’t stand for this! Not at all! Struggling against the heavy chains, the prince was still very much weak. Despite this, he glared daggers at the foreigner, gritting his teeth as he stared him down.
    “ I can think of no better witness for your first time, my dear songbird. A cherished loved one, and one of noble birth to attest to the legitimacy of this letter.” Teased the king, his hand carefully sliding over her stomach as he held her wrist in his hand still.
    Necolita paused in her kissing of him when he told her not to toy with him. She frowned slightly and paused for a moment. "My apologies, my king," she said softly. She winced slightly when he was woken and couldn't bring herself to look at Shadox again. When he started rubbing her with his hands she started kissing him again though she continued to other places like his jaw and cheek so that she wouldn't have to see her brother there. "We don't need witnesses, my love," she said to him gently.
    “You will not escape that, my dear little songbird. Consider it a fo-” The king was cut off rather suddenly, the booming voice of the prince echoing through the room.
    “Get your filthy hands off of her!!” The seething prince was pulling furiously at his bindings, the prince giving him quite the indignant look.
    Slowly releasing his hold on the girl, he practically shoved her to the side and rose to his feet, holding the letter in his hand as he approached. There was such danger approaching the prince, yet he seemed oblivious to it all. Holding the letter before him, the crest practically shoved into his face, the king stood silently before slapping it across his face rather roughly.
    “Mind your tongue.” Hissed the king, grinning still as he moved and opened the letter. “This is no way to address your sister’s husband. I expected even a domesticated barbarian such as yourself to have some manners.” he grabbed the weakened prince by the hair, pulling his head up rather roughly so he could see his sister laying there.
    “You’ll behave yourself and watch, lest your poor sister endure your presence the entire night. I suggest you make this easy for her, like the supposed guardian you are.”
    The prince wasted no time spitting in the kings face, Ea was use to such antics from spoiled royals. He leaned in then, chuckling darkly.
    “At least you’ll have the chance to see her in such a state at least once in your miserable life...” Mocked the king in a breath barely more than a whisper, purposefully riling the prince before he turned back towards the young girl. Truly, his fun was just beginning.
    My, someone was eager this evening. Had things not gone well in the meetings? She could practically feel the frustration and anger leeching off of him into the water. It’d be best to play along with him this evening. She’d been direct when stating that while she was flattered, there was far too much going on for him to choose a bride. It had been a moment of weakness with the queen there. How could she discuss such a thing in her presence?
    “My deepest apologies. I was unsure of how long you would be in meetings, and decided it was best to... freshen up before the evening. How my I be of service?” Purred the woman, getting to her feet and bowing before him.
    Amenhotep kept his eyes up and down her as he walked around her, letting his eyes eat her up. He needed something of her. A few things actually. When her back was to him, he stepped up to her and wrapped an arm around her and up through the water to take her breast. He took her nipple in his fingers and whispered, "I need you to become my wife." He kissed the side of her neck just under her ear and said, "Tell me yes."
    He had asked once again, but this time, he seemed far more focused on her instead of the mess he had been the previous time. A smirk graced her lips as she leaned back into him ever so carefully. He’d shown her just how far he was willing to go, waiting and asking once again like she’d requested. She dare not let go of this chance. Any other prince would have pursued a far easier woman, but he seemed intent upon her. This was what she had been here for, after all.
    “My prince. You have indulged me so graciously. Truly, you are the most noble being upon this world. ” Started Belit, slowly turning to face him and resting her hands upon his shoulder. Her sly lips curled into a smile as she took a small pause. “If that is your truest of wishes, then yes. I accept your offer.”
    Amenhotep hadn't wanted her to turn to face him. He had wanted to take her from behind and make sure she could see the servants watching them to spread the news of her acceptance. He would still get this. But her calling him noble calmed him slightly. Taking her in front of others was not very noble, no matter their position. He had to consider his anger and feelings for a moment before he reached back around and lifted her with ease in the water by her round, perfect rear. He used his arms to guide her legs around his waist. He leaned in to her ear. "Then tell your servants to go give the good news to others unless you wish them to watch me consummate this agreement," he said plainly.
    When they were done, he was panting hard and satisfied that his betrothed was as content as he was. "Come wash us," he called, not taking his eyes off his wife to be. She was the regal creation of his dreams. Perfect for bearing sons, honourable and helpful, respectful to a fault. He had nothing else that he wanted. Not to mention her enchanting golden eyes and terribly siren-like voice. She was perfect.
    Slaves and servants came into the area, reaching into the baths to wash what they could from the edge of the tub. Two others entered the bath itself with other oils and soaps to wash their noble charges. It was only when they were done their shoulders that Amen took a moment to say, "Make sure you get everything," in an almost absent-minded way, keeping his eyes always towards his lady love.
    Necolita fell back into the plush bed as Ea concerned himself more with the man that was there than the woman at his side. It may have hurt more if the richness hadn't enveloped her. This was different. She hadn't seen him like this before. He was normally just enraptured with her when it was them. Now he had another play toy and she wasn't entirely sure she liked him this way.
    When Ea was more involved with Shadox than her, Lita sent a look at her brother that she hoped sent the message that she wanted him to stop fighting. In this state, chained and tied there, there was nothing he could possibly do to help her. He had taught her best when he had shown that there were sometimes where you just had to stop and wait. This was one of those times. She would get him out of this somehow but it would be difficult at best.
    She stood from the bed and slowly started undoing her robe. Her maids and her had worked on enticing actions many times. Finally she would be able to put it to good use. "If tonight is truly about celebrating our union, my king, can't we ignore him and just enjoy each other?" she asked smoothly, letting the robe glide to the floor off her shoulders, creating a perfect semicircle as it landed around her feet leaving her standing in the see through night gown. Her head dropped slightly from embarrassment of being seen by her brother this way but she would play well.
    Shad knew that look, but it didn’t stop his fighting, the bruises beginning to form in his wrists and on his neck. He was in no state to be strung up like this, but god damn, Lita was in danger! How could he just stand there and watch as this beast of a man put his filthy fucking hands on her!? Did she expect him to just... let her go that easily? It didn’t matter, soon enough he had tired himself out, watching the man return to her side.
    As Ea stood beside his little captured princess, he couldn’t help laugh at her feeble attempts to get her brother out of this. He let it slide off his back however, grasping her chin and staring down at her with those dark eyes of his.
    “Oh little sweet songbird. It would be a shame for him to miss such an important event. Besides. I need a few surviving witnesses to this. Consider this his only way of remaining so.” His threat was as clear as day. It was make sure he watched, or die.
    She smiled up at him as he forced her eyes to stay on his. Her hand gently laid on his wrist, massaging his hands as she had done to him before when they were just "enjoying each other's company".
    Even withthe knowledge that he was threatening them, her heart pounding in her chest, she kept her smile on her face and her tone calm and sweet. "Well then I will remain grateful that you are merciful enough to let him live," she said quietly to him. Then louder, to her brother, without taking her eyes off the king said, "Did you hear that brother? Even if you came to steal me away, this glorious king is gracious enough to let you live."
    Shad didn’t understand what was going on, how she was remaining civil in the face of such a demon. A servant came beside him, taking a silk cloth with a rod of metal inside and placed it in his mouth, tying it behind his head in a crude gag. Obviously, this was meant to egg the both of them on that little bit more.
    “Despite him being in the room, you are to keep your focus on me. Is that clear.” Purred Ea, moving the girl back to his bed and settling her down. He finally had time to look over her with more than a little light. The moon was perfect. The room was perfect. Even the audience was perfect. Truly, this was worth the wait.
    Necolita gave what little nod she could from where she was. If this was his intent, it would be easy enough. Her entire purpose was also to keep his attention off her brother as well. If her father had already sold her away, there was no reason to fight against this...yet. She had already learned that the king could be severe if disobeyed and she didn't want either of them to be the brunt of anymore unpleasantness.
    She moved as he moved her, crawling back onto the bed so that he had the full view of her. She had a hand on one of his arms, a leg against one of his so that she could guess where his body would be. "Are you happy with what you see, my dear?" she purred to him, grateful that she wasn't standing on display for her brother anymore. That didn't last long. Soon enough the cruel man had her up on his lap and on display for her brother to watch.
    It was nearly sun up when the king finally filled her for the last time. Letting her drop against the bed, he marvelled over the marks and lines down her body. He could see his grip upon her. Yet another conquest, or so he told himself. It was time to rest now, however. Or to let the girl rest in the very least. He called his healers to the girl’s side, making sure there would be little left of the marks, seeming more like a gentle love bite than the merciless marking he’d done onto her.
    As she hit the bed finally, she closed her eyes and breathed relief. No longer was she on display for her brother to watch nor a slave to the man that held her. As much as she had participated to allow this to be easier on herself, in her mind the torture had endured since her brother had gotten there. She was panting hard as she laid there and the healers came over to look over her. With a sudden burst of inspiration, she sat up and brushed the healers aside. Her eyes were still half closed as she hadn't had a chance to sleep over night yet.
    "My love. You have magic. Could you bind my brother in my service here?" she asked him. "He would never make a move against you lest you have reason to take it out on me instead. Would you do this for me? Perhaps as a wedding gift?" she requested as softly as she could.
