The Rules for the RPA Awards

  1. All Forum Rules apply.
  2. Every person can submit up to two nominations per category. To qualify for votings/nominations, you must be an accepted member.
  3. The members you want to nominate must have logged onto the forum within the last month. Accepted members and staff can be nominated but 'newbies' cannot be nominated.
  4. You can nominate yourself for roleplay awards, but not for member awards. You may nominate up to 2 members/roleplays in each category.
  5. Voting is final so please be careful with who you nominate.
  6. Nominations need to be submitted by July 20th and Votes cast by August 4th
  7. It should be noted that although members can be nominated for an infinite amount of categories, they will be limited on how many they can win. Every Member can win up to 3 awards in each category (meaning up to 6 awards in total). Please note that the staff will reserve the right to pick the awards given in a situation where a member wins more than 3 awards per category.
  8. A character can win three awards and a roleplay only two. When roleplay gets award, all active members within said roleplay will get the award as well. The GM/s will be needed to provide a list of active members to get the award.
  9. The RPA Awards are held in the interest of fun and rewarding those who deserve it. Do not flame, bitch or whine. Do not argue over the nominees. Doing so will withdraw your right to participate and persistent flamers risk being banned.
  10. Any nomination in bad taste, or one that will offend the other person will be removed. However we request that if you find something to be wrong that you do not take it up to yourself to fight on it in said thread. Please contact one of the staff members on the matter and let us handle it.
  11. Threads are for nominations, not for spam. Please do not post any chatter in the nomination threads. If you want to discuss further use this thread.
  12. Nomination does not equal voting. After the nomination process ends, the voting threads will be up and running with all the names that you suggested. That's why you may want to consider who to nominate, for example, if a member was already named, you can pick other 2 to be nominated and entered the poll of the voting thread instead, because said member is already guaranteed to be in the poll.
