"how could you say that so lightly" she says in a slightly quivering voice, her ears seem to droop "they-they are fighting creatures in hoards down there sniff... and... we have already lost more..." she seems to choke on the words as tears start to well up in her eyes

Timothy put a confused look on his face. "Hey I did not mean I could not take it. I was only agreeing with you. Plus what good am I right now when I am hurt and can't do much. Oh please don't cry Amelia. Really I did not mean it like that." he said as he tried to sit up but pain shot of his arm when he did and he screamed in pain.
"hold still" she says, her ears shooting back up as she gets back into her normal, caring self "my goodness, this must be worse than expected, you may need to stay for the whole day... and don't get any ideas about going to the lower decks before then"

"Doctor, a hypo please!" she calls
The doctor comes over with a hypo spray
"here, this will help" He says as he releases the contents into his system painlessly and then walks off with a shake of his head and a hand to rub his tired eyes.

Timothy did sleep well but when he woke up he was in pain again and it did not help that he heard guns and screaming.
"Amelia please I need some more pain med. What in the world is going on out there to? Has it been like that for the past hour?" he said as he try to sit up again.
