The Domme Estate - 4th Bell (10:00 AM) - Summer - 5th of Donovan, Year 234
The summer sun encroaches across the sky as the morning moves unabridged by the celestial heavens above.
The Domme Estate is now in full swing with the day's tidings. Servants from all walks of Britannia going about their business as the local wildlife calls to one another in simple, but effective, pleasantries.
The Estate's Lord, Alduin Domme, wakes to with a stir as the sound of the breakfast bell breaks the simple silence of the master bedroom. He leans up from his covers and looks over at the glassed window at the sun shinning through. He gives a deep sigh as he realizes he has slept past the 3rd Bell, which meant that he wasn't going to get any additional sleep.
He lumbers out of bed, stepping over to the glassed window and peering out at the estate that seems to be buzzing with life. He almost forgot how chaotic the mornings were, seeing as he wasn't in constant fear of being assassinated in his sleep. But, the peace of his estate was something that was most uncomfortable for him. Only now could he appreciate that fear.
Taking in that very same fear, he is reminded of where his home now stands. Just North of the Eastern Sun, there lay a growing shroud of inky darkness that threatens everything it touches. This is to be the Nightrealms. This is to be his enemy, an enemy that he must defeat no matter the casualty.
But as he angers himself about the Nightrealms and its horrific creations, he is reminded of who he is and where he stands politically with all the other houses. Thus he looks over his shoulder at the sleeping Faun. A wedlock made from the political union of two major houses. Vixes and Domme. Two juxtapose houses whose ideologies barely align. For what reason these two houses merged, Alduin could only assume.
He finds himself sitting on his side of the queen-size bed, keeping his eyes forward as his thoughts begin to race of all the things he needs to do today. The list only seems to grow with each second that passes.
