She was dragged down an empty hallway and into another room. Once she was thrown inside the door was slammed shut behind her. She clawed at the door before turning around as the air in the room seemed to be sucked away and she was face to face with a demon. "Please! Don't hurt me again! We couldn't take him! He was beyond us! We weren't working with him, I swear!" Tears streamed down her face as she cowered. The demon reached out and touched her, making her scream out in pain.

Maeva trembled as she watched the scene unfold. She was a little worried that this demon would be able to sense her, but she kept looking. She had to find out more about what was going on here.
The demon wrapped its hand over her face and the woman knelt to the ground, unable to stand now. Soon, little burn marks traced over her skin starting from her face and down her torso and legs. The demon then released her and she crumbled to the ground. "Nothing new." The demon stated in a rough voice. "Let me eat this one."
"No. You can't. She has not paid for her incompetence yet." Said a voice over a crackling speaker.
"Fine.... I hunger. I need food.'
"And you'll get it once you're useful." The demon growled and lashed out at the wall only to howl in pain.

Maeva had to drag her focus away from the woman's body to keep herself from feeling sick. Instead, she turned her attention to the speaker, trying to trace that voice back to its source.
As she shifted focus to the speaker the image started to get hazy before getting severed completely.

She gasped a little and blinked her eyes open, frowning. "What... I lost them," she said softly, looking down at the crystal ball.
Roger looked at her. "What do you mean? I thought you were in. I got you through the barrier or whatever."

"Yeah, you did, but... Maybe I encountered another one," she said softly.
He frowned and ended the spell he was using. "What were you trying to do when it ended?"

"There was a voice from a speaker... I was trying to see who was behind it."
