He nodded sadly. "Yeah. But maybe the psychiatrists at the center can help you remember some things." He looked at her face as he still was wiping away her tears. "Now... This could be a good thing..." She murmured. "Best not to worry about it. You still have to recover your strength."

She waved back, biting her lips. She laid her head back and sighed. Eventually, she fell asleep like that.
The next day, Roger returned with a backpack filled with books. He knocked on the door and walked in. "Hey, Maeva. I brought books for you to read." He said cheerfully.

Maeva sat frozen in her bed, and only briefly glanced at him as he entered, her eyes filled with fear. She was staring at the corner, where the ghost of an older man dressed in surgeon's attire was standing with a scalpel clutched in his fist. It was pointed at her, and he was slowly stepping closer, muttering curses under his breath.
