[M] Plagued Encounters (Sparkz and NoviDome)

David yawned a bit. "Yeah. Now I am..."

[NoviDome]

"Good... That's good." Maeva tried to focus a bit more on nightly scenes, such as baby deer sleeping in the woods, and clouds slowly and peacefully passing over the moon.

[Sparkz]

David yawned again and snuggled into her as he closed his eyes. Soon enough, he fell asleep into a deep peaceful sleep.

Maeva smiled as he fell asleep, and after a short while she dozed off as well, holding him close.

David managed to sleep peacefully in his mother's arms and didn't wake up once through the night.

Because Maeva was holding David, she was luckily able to get some proper sleep in as well.

Roger woke up with a start half way through the night. He patted the bed next to him to find Maeva gone. He looked around frantically for her before taking a deep breath, calming himself down. He knew that she was probably with David. No need to worry. He laid back down again but found that he couldn't fall back asleep. With a groan, he got up and made some tea for himself, trying to shake the remnants of the dream from his mind. David was safe. He reminded himself. He was safe from his demon father. He made sure of that. At first, he wanted to teach David magic to protect himself but after his dream, he wasn't so sure that was a good idea. He sat out in the living room, sipping on his tea once it was ready, waiting for the rest of his family to wake. Once again, he sorely regretted burning the rest of his cigarettes.

David's curtains were still open, so when the sun came up its light slowly woke Maeva up. She stirred a little and blinked her eyes open. When she saw David still sleeping soundly in her arms, she smiled and kissed his hair gently. She didn't want to wake him, so she slowly pulled away and got to her feet. She pulled the covers up to keep David warm, and then quietly headed into the living room.

Roger looked up when he heard her enter. He smiled at bit. "Is David still sleeping?" He asked softly. "I figured that was where you were at."

She looked at him and nodded. "Yeah... He is. Why are you awake? Are you okay?"
