He smiled. "Well. I fed you dinner a couple of times since you were in a straight jacket. Your other half was too violent. The first time, you refused to let me feed you so when I came back in, I helped clean you up. The second time you allowed me to feed you. You were shy and a little self conscious when we spoke. I noticed that you could see ghosts and I asked you about it. You freaked out and so did the demon but after that, you started warming up to me. I wanted to help you get out and you agreed but Becky didn't. She hated me cause I gave you hope."

Maeva listened closely, her mind racing to process all the details. She didn't want to forget again. "...Those other two men that were here when I woke up... Who were they exactly? Can they see ghosts too?"
"The older gentleman is a Catholic priest. His name is Father Rouke. He can't see ghosts but he knows they are real. He was the one who exorcised you and sent the demon to hell. The demon in turn took your soul to hell as well. The other man is David. He works for some secret society cult thing who monitors demonic activity. He caught me opening portals to hell trying to rescue you. I told him I would stop if he helped me get your soul back. Which he did reluctantly. He didn't have high hopes for you."

"I trust Father Rouke. I've known him for a long time. I just met David last night. The man has a real stick up his ass but he certainly knows what he's talking about when it comes to demons. Has equipment too. But I don't trust him completely."
