I have a few questions about the lore of vampires.
1.) Are there multiple types of vampires? By that I mean, is there just the European variety, or are there different types based on location? Like the Nure-onna from Japan, the Obayifo from western Africa, and the Soucouyant from Trinidad. These are all wildly different monsters, but they're all vampires.
2.) About when did vampires transition from folklore to actual beings? I'd imagine at first humans just disregarded them as myth, but when were they a recognized type of person?
3.) About tasting human blood when turning, does the victim's blood count? If someone was bitten, then restrained/quarantined, could they draw blood from themselves and turn? Like, if they bit their tongue until they bled, would that blood count enough as human to turn them?
1. No, the plot of the rp was designed around european vampires. Though a vampires ability/power can reflect , say, an obayifo. Inherently though they are all the European type of vampire
2. Are you wanting a specific year? They first revealed themselves around 8 years prior to the events of the rp, but they werent recognized as actual beings about 3 years prior to the rp.
3. They can not bite themselves in order to turn. They need untainted human blood to turn- their blood is infected by the 'disease' and therefore can't work as a catalyst.

I have gotten a response up, Baron, as well as some stuff for you to go off of, Irish.
I think the biggest question is, what should the next big plot event be, to keep things interesting and ensure everyone has enough inspiration.
