    Default Collaborative World Building

So I've wondered if anyone is really itching the seams to do some worldbuilding are honestly tired, or maybe scared, of the massive amount of effort it would take to build a setting from scratch.

I've tried, to start up a setting that is in similar vain to RPA's persistent worlds. However none of them have yielded much, seeing as they've all gone quiet.

But I think that if a group gets together establishes some ground rules and have everyone in agreement, then perhaps multiple heads are better than one and a setting can flourish.

    What do you guys think?

I do a bit of everything, but I'm always down for a good horror or high fantasy plot

    I'd love to worldbuild, personally.

Well it would combine the intricacies of feudalistic intrigue with science fiction tropes. An apt comparison would be "The Expanse but on a grander scale."

Like "House Eridonis has captured Ha'dar from House Orion, we're debating sending a task fleet to assist with Orion's sortie."

It's one of the my go-to passtimes.

I build from what I call the "History Spine." Where all the events in the world are based on the primary history that details all the major events throughout the world's timeline.

    Sounds very Dune-ish.

Not going to lie, it does sound very Dune-ish. Which, I will count as inspiration.

The idea of knight pilots sporting their house's heraldry while dogfighting with other knight pilots sounds really cool.

I love Dune's worldbuilding so if you're drawing inspiration from Dune, good for you! haha
