How many Characters do we need to get started?
How many Characters do we need to get started?
I was hoping for at least one more, but if we don't have one by the end of next week, I'll set up the IC.
;-;
Spoiler: Oh, woah.
Yeah, no.
@spoon_car; your character has the gift to manipulate the elemental chaos of The Desert. Your character can effect fire, water, earth, wind, electricity, ie, but they can only use two manipulations per day. You can create walls of flame, cause lightning to arc from the sky, bury someone alive in a column of sand. The only limitation is you can only use it twice per day, and it has to be already existing around you. You can't just summon things.
@Underblank; your character has an affinity for the beasts and inhabitants of The Desert. Your character can speak to the beasts, and understand their language. You can also assume the form of a beast of The Desert. You can soar over the dunes in the form of an eagle, or run for miles without issue as a coyote. At the moment, you cannot assume the form of Monstrosities.
The both of you are only at the cusp of your powers. As the story progresses, your gifts will grow more powerful. At certain points, I will tell you when and how your gifts grow stronger.
Also, I feel like this is a bit late, but feel free to make another character. We're a bit lacking in that department, and I have a list of gifts up to 10, so...
@SaltyIrishman I’ll whip up another character.
Could they be under 18? I have one miserable kiddo messing up things.

Sure, if you can think of a plausible reason as to why they would be on this trip, sure.
@SaltyIrishman
Name: Morgan Russel
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Occupation:
Middle School Student. (Pushed back a year...)
Personality:
A rash child, she can have wrathful temper issues when angry, being rude and colorful-mouthed, but is otherwise quite optimistic. Morgan is naive, being young, and thinks she can use the Karate skills she’s been learning on the internet for the past month against anything. Spoiler: She’s already been beaten up because of this. She has a vivid imagination, and being sensitive, can connect to people on an emotional level easily.
Psychical Appearance:
She dyed her hair blue, and her parents didn’t even notice. Morgan has honey colored eyes, curly hair tied back into a ponytail, dark skin with faint freckles and a small yet well-built frame. She usually wears hand-me downs from her older brothers such as baggy shirts and pants, and sneakers.
Backstory:
The middle child of a family of 7, Morgan is used to being ignored and can easily slip away when not needed. She tries to spend most of her time away from home, preferring to practice athletics over family time. Almost like any other teenager.
Gift Number: 10
Other: An all-around athlete, capable of swimming, long distance running, weight lifting and stuff like that.

Alright, but why would she be on this particular venture?
She grew up in Nevada, and decided to try earn some money doing brands for some shady people. Those shady people wanted information on some people living an hour or two drive from the entrance, and she gave the taxi driver the wrong directions. Molly thought that Colter’s house was the place she needed information on, but by the time she figured out that it was the wrong place, the taxi was gone and she was in the middle of nowhere.

Well, The Desert is pretty much unknown by the rest of the world. Most people stumble in by chance, and only under the right conditions. Change it a little bit, and she's accepted. The IC shold be up by tomorrow, sorry.
