Welcome to the world of rebirth!
but this probably means that you are...
dead
so, ya, have fun...
with your amazing new life
in this wonderful new world...
ya
but it isn't all bad. because here, you get a second chance!
being here may mean that you died in a most spectacular way that made the gods laughe to no end, and just wanted to keep you around for entertainment [wha-what? what are you talking about... haha, it's not like I tried to kill a dragon with my bare hands for no reason. that would be, ridiculous.]
or it means that you died in such a way that made the gods weep for you and give you a second chance. like the other half of the people here.
but hey, if you remember, then great. but, if not, then good luck.
I must warn you though. those who do remember even the smallest part of their past life aren't always the best people and have tried to make this place the paradise they never could while others use their past knowledge to make this world better. but this does get this a little mixed up.
no one knows who remembers and who doesn't and don't want to risk sounding crazy like I did my first time around the block [and boy was that fun].
and most only end up remembering around the ages of 10 to 18 with rare cases of some remembering way before or after.
but, besides this, no one really remembers how to make the same kind of advanced tech that some may have had in their past life and almost everything gets translated to the current form of technology at this point in time which happens to be steampunk.
giant airships, walking tanks of all shapes and sizes, and much more are mainly powered but the steam engine.
also, due to some of the odd requests of some of the people have made for reincarnation, there is a variety of races to the inhabitants of this world that the gods no longer take requests past what is currently there. [anyone ever heard of Pathfinder? or at least D&D? those are the sort of races you're gonna find along with beastkin from anime like shield hero... well, you might not have heard of them because you may not be from earth, or the earth I know or... I'll just stop now.]
well, I suppose you're wondering what I'm doing here.
I'm here to help you out with your decision.
because the gods sort of got a little tired of talking to a bunch of annoying mortals. [haha, no it wasn't me... stop looking at me like that.]
Spoiler: Before we begin, you may want to know some of the rules
1. don't mess with the gods. it will end very badly for you.
2. as said, you'll probably not remember anything until you are between 10 and 18. (how young your character may start out.)
3. you will not be given all power, or become overpowered. you will, as everyone else, have limitations.
4. as much I as I want to say it, please don't go crazy. this is more a suggestion, but the people down there have laws you don't want to break. I've met some of the people who came back up for doing so and trust me, don't go there. (but really, it would be nice to keep this as PG as possible.)
5. it will really help if you give proper respect to the others there. they had to die to get here just as you did, some in more horrible ways than you and still remember it. so just be careful about who you mess with.
6. don't make me tell you that you can't be one thing or another and just choose from those that have chosen before you.
7. you will remember nothing of this meeting until you die again. please make that as far away as possible.
hew, ok, now that that is over with, it's time to get you reincarnated with a new body and a new life and everything.
so, just tell me what you want and I'll try to place you as best as I can with what is down there.
Spoiler: here is the info I need
anything from your previous life you want, like
name:
gender:
some life history?:
but what I really need is what you want now.
name:
race:
gender:
(age: )
maybe a future description of yourself?:
and preferred life circumstances?:
and if you don't know, that's fine. I can help you with that.
and here are some of the other
Spoiler: peopel that came if you need help
and after I have all of the information I need, you will be sent down to your new life and you'll be good as new before you know it.
but one last thing.
I am not responsible for anything that happens in your next life such as slavery, imprisonment, unfortunate circumstances, disease or illness, loss of limb, memory, or sanity. any war, political squabble, or family dispute is entirely the work of the inhabitants of the planet you will be inhabiting. anything and everything down there is none of my responsibility and is out of my control and I can not be held accountable for anything that goes on there.
so have fun

former life-
name: Feabin Gray
gender: Male
some life history: an odd sort. he came from earth and died around 2021 when he was shot trying to take out a school shooter. he was a nerd who loved games like Pathfinder (D&D 3.5) and magic the gathering.
current description: only just above average height, and decently slim but anything but a cutting board. her dark red hair reaching to the small of her back in almost flaming waves, her tail is the same shade with white on the bottom and her ears have black on the tips, her eyes shine a golden red. she tends to wear jeans but wears skirts almost as often, but always with a shirt and suspenders while in pants and a nice blouse while in skirts.
short bio: born into slavery with her parents, she was later separated and sold to a new master who toyed with her in ways she would kill to stay away from repeating. only when she was older was she sold to a new master who seemed to give her a little more respect than some toy. but it wasn't until her third master that taught her to read and write and some ways of the world that she began to live. he was almost like a father to her.
he encouraged her to get a hobby or to learn something that she wanted.
it was because of this that she became a mechanic. he provided everything she needed and allowed her imagination to run as wild as she wanted it and appreciated what she did.
it wasn't long till some of his friends noticed her talent and offered her work.
it wasn't till this moment that her master had an idea. one of his friends had some political power and talked to him about freeing slaves. he soon had paperwork drawn up and she was then a freed slave and his adopted daughter along with a promise from the man that he would do what he could to help free slaves everywhere.
she only regained her memories when puberty kicked in around 11 and she acted strange for a few days while coming to terms with her memories and reincarnation.
