She nodded her head and smiled when the two people came in. Gloria, Bastian's mother smiled and hugged her son. "Its so good to see that you and Mirigold are alright!"
Bastian smiled and hugged her back. "Hey mom. Thank you for coming on such short notice."
Gloria sighed a bit and shook her head. "Poor dear." She said looking at Mirigold. "Well at our house you guys will have the big guest bed and we can serve the poor girl since I will have her on bed rest."
Bastian smiled a little. "Thank you mom. You're always so caring."
Mirigold nodded her head slowly and went to grab her crutches before she got off the bed. "How does bedrest work with your mother? My grandmother would just let me get up and wonder the house, but no leaving the house."
Gloria couldn't help but chuckle a bit, waiting for her son to answer before texting her husband that they would be on the way out there.
Bastian grinned and helped her up. "In our house, bedrest means bedrest. No getting up. You need to let that ankle heal."
Mirigold frowned a bit and looked at her husband. "But what if I get hungry? Or thirsty?"
Rick, Bastian's father, looked at Kyda and then smiled a bit. "I'm guessing you are a friend of theirs?" He asked her with a sweet smile.
Gloria smiled and then looked at Bastin. "I'll pull the car around." She said and then went to walk out.
Bastian smiled and kissed Mirigold's head. "I'll bring you whatever you need."
Kyda didn't look up at Rick, afraid he might notice the colour of her eyes. She kept them fixed on her feet and nodded. "Yeah, I'm... Well, you should probably ask them what they think I am."
Mirigold bit her lip and then nodded her head slowly. "And if I have to use the bathroom?" She asked slowly and then started to shake her head a bit.
Rick frowned a bit and then sighed. "You don't have to be afraid of me. Nust tell me the truth and you and I will be good." He told her softly.
