I do have a little bit of an issue with her arm still being broken when they set out since they will want able-bodied personnel given the possible lack of long-term medical care, but I will chalk it down as acceptable as is since it may add an interesting dynamic. I've been recently reminded that it is important to keep an open mind. Also, props for choosing something else than being shot.
With your CS done you can either ask questions or just wait for the other CS's. I'm giving five or so more days until I create the IC for people to their submissions in and approved.

ok then
I was thinking the cast might be coming off in near a week anyhow so it wouldn't be a huge deal.
they could delay it long enough to get the cast off, or send them in and get the cast removed later during the mission. I also figured that there might be a small problem as well, but I also thought it might be interesting to leave the cast on.
and thanks for the marks for "not being shot." I thought a bomb might be a good way to do it.
my backup (which I hope comes later, if at all.) got a major concussion from an exploding HUMVEE.

Name: Chasity Summers
Nationality: Canadian
Age: 28
Appearance: She is 5’7”, with an average but slightly toned build, whitey blonde hair to her shoulder blades and light grey eyes.
The Ancient Technology Activation (ATA) gene status: Positive (Natural)
Atlantis-Pegasus Team / Scientist Expertise: Environmental Technician??
Skills / Specializations: Sadly, Chasity’s skills fall towards the criminal, stealth (i.e. moving quietly, blending into the shadows), pickpocketing, climbing, safecracking, by-passing security systems. She also has a knack for spotting the valuable stuff and guess what it might be worth. Her skill as a technician is mostly setting up the equipment and watching the screens.
Inventory: Outside of the typical personal effects such as clothes and such, the only items are a necklace with the symbol of a green four-leaf clover, which she considers her lucky charm, and "The Box".
Background: Having lost her mother when she was very young, Chasity ended up travelling around a lot with her archology father, Darren Summers, becoming his assistant often after getting old enough to be of help. It was likely, in part, this exploring ruins and looking for artifacts that led to her choice in careers after her father passed away suddenly just before her 18th birthday.
Being on her own, she learned to survive anyway she could even when it required a bit of minor stealing, and as she aged it seem to take more and bigger acts of theft till, she became quite the accomplished cat burglar. Being a thief, she soon discovers wasn’t only greatly fun but very profitable, and soon was hiring out to those who needed and paid well for her skill, eventually being dubbed the Phantom Cat for her seeming knack of getting in and out so easily and getting away with the goods.
Things were going well till her last job, where a guy hired her to steal several strange items, and though the incredibly high level of security should have clued her in, she didn’t discover this was some kind of tech hist till afterward. That had her telling her employer off in spades when she met up with him to delivered the goods, supposedly as she actually gave him a box of substitutes, keeping the real ones herself just in case, and deciding to take a break from her activities.
She lucked out that a scientist she was seeing hired her to be part of his technical crew, allowing her to lay low for a couple months, everything seeming to remain peaceful. But that didn’t last, as the guy who’d hired her for the theft suddenly disappear mysteriously, likely grabbed by the people she’d robbed, which meant he’s be likely giving her up shortly. Panicking slightly, she wondered if having the real items would give her leverage or put her in more danger? That when the scientist, Ben Gullucci, announced he’d been offered and accepted a new position. Their southern neighbour, USA, had reveal their secret project with the Stargates for the past five years, and their call for members for the newest one, the Stargate Atlantis expedition. Chasity’s mind was blown as she heard about gates that popped one about the universe, ancient beings who might have seeded planets with live including Earth, and of aliens both allies and enemies of Earth. Suddenly she was looking at the box of tech items from new light, and a deeper dread. The idea of putting a galaxy or two between her and either a long stay in dark prison or just a bullet in the head, sounded good and she was mostly happy when Ben told her he’d added her to his chosen team to accompany him. That wasn’t to be though as nearly last-minute Ben was suddenly pulled off expedition…. Something about him and a grad student who might be pregnant??.... and a new scientist was added as leader, though didn’t change any of the team.
Chasity was surprised she’d somehow made it past the background check and is now waiting to take a one-way ticket to an unknown fate instead of prison or a nasty demise if those people get her name, not a great situation but she’d survived things before. Her mind is now occupied with two mysteries; why there is an extra crate of equipment added at the last minute? And the note!
Arriving at the base for the jump-off the next day, she had that night found under her pillow in her assigned quarters, a note, unsigned but very clearly telling her that the writer had made adjustment that had guaranteed her acceptance, and that they know exactly what and who she was, and would contact her again when needed. She realized it meant that person was not only on the base, but one of those on the expedition. How had they discovered she was not only a thief but the Phantom Cat? Why had they fixed things so she could still go and of what use did they have for her? Did they know about the box of tech items? She had debated leaving them behind but now wasn’t going to let them out of her sight just in case. If they did know about them, of what use were they….. for that matter what did they do??
Seemed her life was going to get very complicated in the next few days……

Name: 2nd Lieutenant Wesley Price
Age: 32
Spoiler: Appearance
Atlantis-Pegasus Team / Scientist Expertise: Marksman, Recon, Wilderness Survival
Skills / Specializations: Having attended the Special Air Services sniper school, Wesley is a definitive specialist as marksman beyond even the typical SAS operator's military repertoire. He's also versed in amphibious and HALO deployment, hostage rescue, and underwater demolitions. Before the world changed in 9/11, Wes was attending the Trinity College in Dublin, nearly gaining his degree in Human Anthropology. While his degree remains uncompleted, he's garnered enough experience in the field while overseas to keep the skills honed. Through his deployment, Wesley has picked up verbal fluency in Arabic, Farsi, and Israeli.

So far
We have a military Psychotherapist that is recovering from a broken arm,
A spec ops sniper who is in the middle of getting a degree,
And a thief that is laying low as a scientist.
This is already looking interesting.
I do have one question.
Are we starting off at the SGC command center at the stargate, before going to Atlantis. Or are we going to start off just reaching Atlantis.
I think starting off at HQ, getting briefed and letting them get to know each other would be a great idea before heading through the stargate to reach Atlantis

We just need a few genius minors, a blue-collar engineer, and an alien robot and we could be Lost In Space

@Goldenbraid
I'll get back to you with a fuller look later, but for now I will say that the SGC would probably not miss somebody who sneaked onto such a small and scrutinized Expedition roster. You might want to take a look at "Shades of Grey", which is episode 18 of the 3rd season of SG-1. Your character strongly reminded me of that episode and you might get some ideas from it.
Otherwise I like the character concept.
Naturally I have been thinking about this. Let it never be said I don't learn from past complications. The last RP almost literally died on the conference room table as I got distracted by irl things while the characters were in the middle of their briefing. To that end the intro post will include a summary of essential information and will end with us beginning the exploration of Atlantis so things don't get bogged down. Don't get me wrong, there will be plenty of mission briefings and meetings but I want to keep those brief like SG:A did.
I should also put out there that characters are encouraged to know things but not everything. Just because it is in the wiki doesn't mean your character would know; just because a mission is in an after-action mission report doesn't mean all the details are included. Players are encouraged to have characters discuss things they know, fact, fiction, and misinterpretation, to build character reputations between them. Even a character admitting to another that they don't know something is a personality-building opportunity.
We might have just lost our first geniusminor. But others to come, I'm sure.
I'll get to your CS tomorrow.

Watched the episode, does have a few interesting ideas in it, though most don't work with an SG:A setting, but I did get a few ideas, couple changing her background a bit maybe (such as maybe it wasn't criminals and valuables she stole but tech..... and maybe she didn't deliver it but kept it …. lol), also possibly someone did figure out who she is and fudged her past the checks thinking a thief might be useful on the expedition, for one reason or another... …. must think on this …..@Goldenbraid
