It should be good. If I decode later that you need to change something, I'll tell you.

For now, yeah. I'd like to have probably two others join, at the very least before we start.

I'll be working on my character tonight, should have something soon. Didn't realize how much you'd pull from D&D haha. If we are going to do a mage type character, will it be like D&D where we have little hand to hand combat potential? Also of we are a mage is that like our background fully or could we just have a natural tendency toward magic, but just work in a job where ot comes in handy. Is there any hard limit on skill selection? Thanks, sorry to bombard you with questions

I guess I should ask. Should I be super familiar with D&D?

Ooh, I'm interested and already have two possible characters. One is fresh, and hasn't played yet, but the other I have been using for a while. The only problem is that the experienced one is the same race and shares some similar characteristics with the other Dwarf. (and she kinda has a problem with throwing her teammates around, specifically tieflings.)

But, I guess I could use my Half-Elf and see how he would leave his mark on the world.

Nitestrike776, It's totally fine! For a combat-ready mage character, it's not totally unheard of, but mages generally aren't built like The Rock. Of course, there are war mages, so your character could be something like that, although their magic would be geared more towards doing damage instead of utility. Most mages study for their magic, though they all come with a varying level of aptitude towards it. Sorcerers in terms of D&D 5e aren't really around anymore, as the things that cause them, such as a drop of a dragon's blood in their veins, are gone as well. But there is technically a genetic possibility of being a sorcerer, just like how some people have like 3% Neanderthal DNA. So, to sum it up: Sorcerers are rare and mages can have combat skills.

Sear, No, you don't! I'm only using races and most of the magic mechanics, the rest of the story will be created. If you have any questions about either of those, feel free to ask.
