    Hello dearie! *waves*

If you could live anywhere that you have visited (cost not playing into the equation), where would you set up base?

    Hrm. That’s a hard question.

I loved living in Australia, but it’s kind of isolated from the rest of the world, which is one of its major downfalls for me. Just to get anywhere—inside Australia, much less outside—takes ages and is expensive enough. (Though I still think travelling in the US is a bit more pricey than there.)

In contrast, one of the best things about Europe is its accessibility. Travelling is affordable, efficient, and so many places take less time to travel to than, say, someone from the west of the US travelling to the east. So I would probably pick somewhere in Europe. As for where... hmmm.

I honestly love Switzerland. The country is clean, modern, stunningly beautiful, and has a really high standard of living on so many fronts. You have all of mainland Europe at your doorstep; and trains or flights are extremely affordable to pretty much anywhere around. So I’d be inclined to take advantage of that...

But I also freaking love Spain. It just had a really relaxed vibe, amazing food, and the weather is very pleasant... and the people are great. Also I could better my Spanish! It’s beautiful like southern France or Italy, but less snooty.

    tl;dr
...a tie between Switzerland and Spain!
