She didn't say anything else and just looked at the wall. She couldn't bring herself to say anymore. She sighed and closed her eyes. She couldn't look at anything.

Ian sighed as well and put his drink aside. "Anna... I really care about you. I don't know what kind of guy you think I am but I don't normally go on trips with people I don't care about."
"I- Sorry..." She felt tears going down her face and landing on the pillow. She sighed and wiped her face.
"No, don't apologise. You have not once had to."
"I have needed to apologize. I-I probably drive you crazy.." She got up and put some clothes on. She looked at him and looked back down.
"You don't. Believe me, please."
"Then tell me how you feel. Tell me if I mean anything to you." She then walked over to the door. "I need you to talk to me. I need you to help me understand, I need you. And if you can't talk to me I am going for a walk. I might even do that anyway but I need answers and you have refused to give them to me. I feel led on and like you don't care." She was now crying. She just wanted to get away, but she stayed at the door with her hand on the door knob.
Ian got up, taking a few steps towards her. "I do care. Anna, I..." He rubbed the back of his head. The alcohol was really getting to him. The part of his mind that usually protested against his feelings for Anna had become... dazed. He didn't want her to go. He wanted... He wanted... He took a deep breath, closed the distance between them, laid a hand on her face, and then kissed her.
She was taken by surprise when he got up. She backed up closer to the door and the next thing she knew she was being kissed. She kissed him back letting go of the door. She stopped kissing him and hugged him. "What are you thinking about? What is going through your head." At this point she felt sober she couldn't feel the alcohol in her system anymore.
He hugged her back tightly, catching his breath. "Anna, I like you so much, and I'm done pushing that down... I'm sorry if that makes me an asshole but I just can't anymore."
