She had tears rolling down her face. She didn't let go of him. She felt if she let go he would change his mind. "R-Really?"
She had tears rolling down her face. She didn't let go of him. She felt if she let go he would change his mind. "R-Really?"
"I'm so sorry, I know this isn't right but it's become really hard for me, and I just... I'm a little drunk, and you looked so sad just now... I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize.. I basically pushed you to say something." She sighed. "We will talk more in the morning." She then went to the bed and laid down.
He watched her, feeling relieved that he had finally spoken his mind, but sad that she wasn't in his arms right now. "Are you... Did I upset you?" he asked softly.
"I am not upset." She turned and smiled. "Now come here and lay with me." She wondered how he would react in the morning.
He smiled and lay went over to the bed to lie down with her. "Can I cuddle with you?"
She giggled. "Duh." She smiled and laid her head on his chest and she closed her eyes.
He blushed and gently laid an arm around her. "Wow... This is really nice."
"It really is." She smiled and yawned. She yawned and slowly dozed off. That night was dreamless. It was just black. She didn't feel trapped. She didn't feel anything.
Ian was thankful for the alcohol in his system, for it made him fall asleep not long after Anna did. Had he been sober, he'd probably gaff stayed awake all night, wondering if he did the right thing. The next morning he was a little less thankful, as he woke up with a good headache. He groaned softly, and moved his arm to lay it over his face, but then realised he was still holding Anna. He opened one eye to look at her and stayed still, not wanting to wake her up.
