He smiled a little and rubbed his face. He wondered if last night had been real, but he thought it had. He wanted it to be. It was exhausting having his guard up all the time. He just felt guilty about Anna's situation. He hoped he hadn't just made things worse for her.
Soon she had woken up. She yawned and looked around and soon the memories of the night before came flooding into her mind.
Ian looked at her and smiled slightly. "Good morning," he said softly. "How are you feeling?"
She smiled and yawned. I-I'm feeling good." She wasn't sure what to say to him right now, she was scared she was going to say the wrong thing.
"No hangover?" he asked with a grin.
She giggled. "A slight hangover." She smiled and got out of bed and stretched. "My hangover is not as bad as I thought it was going to be."
"Same. Though it's still present," Ian said, rubbing his head.
She giggled. "That must suck." She went to get clothes for the day. It was some shorts and a tank top. She held on to them not ready to change yet.
"It does." He looked at her. "What do you want to do today? Are you still up to go hiking or climbing?"
