"I am not too sure...it is probably really bad...." She sighed. "Let's do something..."
"I am not too sure...it is probably really bad...." She sighed. "Let's do something..."
He nodded. "Okay. I have an idea, but it's a little crazy." He glanced over his shoulder. "I got the vibe that Eva doesn't like your dad very much. She likes the rewards he could give her, sure, bu maybe we can... strike some sort of deal with her. One that sounds better than what he has to offer."
"We don't even know what he is offering and she could kill us on the spot for asking, Also others work with her and those others could side with my father more than her. I don't know but we can try." She sighed, they could do this.
"You gave her a damn good reason not to kill you. It's worth a shot."
"But what about you? She could kill you before I even blink.." She sighed. "We can do it I suppose..."
"We'll just have to hope for the best," he murmured. He stood up straight and ran his hands through his hair. "So what could we offer her that's better than money, and probably blood?" he murmured, racking his brain.
"My father tortures people there is probably blood already involved..." She had no idea what to give Eva. She didn't have the money or the blood. What else would a vampire who runs an organization want?
Ian suddenly paused and looked at her. "Hey... Remember when we first met her, and she took her jacket off? There was a mark on her arm, did you see that?"
"I think so, why?" What was he getting at? What does a mark on her arm mean?
"That was a brand mark... Which means she's not there of her free will. She might be as much a captive as Sarah and Melody are."
