"What does that mean? I did send you a video?" What news did he need? She told him about Eva and there was the video but just audio, Did he want to know about the walk? She gave him a puzzled look. "S-Sorry I am not understanding..." She looked down and found herself thinking of Ian but George was in her mind to and she didn't understand why.
"I haven't had time to watch it yet. Did you succeed in getting the proof I asked?" he asked calmly.
"Yes, I did, In the video she says that they are working on finding a different organization to work with you so she is free." She said in a slightly calm voice at least she was complying so far, he hadn't yelled or hit her yet.
He nodded slowly. "Is there anything else I should know?"
After her talk with George she thought she should be honest. "The man you sent me with we didn't take the car all the way back we ended up walking her when we were closer." She kept looking at the ground.
Her father raised his eyebrows. "...Really? Why is that?"
"I am not sure.. We just got out and walked, I guess I needed air." She was telling the truth but not all but he wouldn't be able to tell.
"And nothing... happened, during your walk?"
"No we just walked, I swear by it." She sighed and looked at her dad. "Nothing happened I walked here with him and I didn't try running or anything."
He raised an eyebrow, giving her an investigating stare for a moment. It was clear that out of her and George, she was the one he distrusted. "...Very well. Send George in," he said, dismissing her with a wave of his hand.
