A dark story on a darker night ( 1x1 RP NoviDome & Tessa1436 ) [M]

They walked for a while until they reached a door. The woman pushed it open and pulled them inside. When the door was shut, she let go of them and turned on the lights. They were in some sort of office space, but it looked... almost too clean. As if nobody was truly working there.
The woman gestured to a table, and Ian sat down cautiously.
"What is all this? You owe us an explanation."
"I'll give you one," she said, hanging up her coat. She was wearing a red blouse and neat trousers with suspenders. She had a small brand mark on her lower arm. Her skin was pale, just like Melody's. She looked at Ian and Anna. "But first. Tell me what you just experienced."

Anna backs up at the sight of the pale skin. "Let me leave," she said fearfully. She then goes silent.

The woman looked at her, noting her reaction to her. "I'm sorry, but I can't. Tell me what happened."

Anna looks at Ian Speechless.

When Anna stayed silent, the woman looked at Ian. He hesitated, but then spoke. "...I-I was just walking home with my friend, and we saw Anna here being attacked. T-There was a girl on top of her a-and we told her to get off, and then she..." His voice trailed off and he covered his mouth. "...S-She attacked Rick, m-my friend, I... It happened really fast, suddenly she was on top of him and she was biting his neck..." The woman sighed and nodded.
"Were you headed to a police station?"
"Yes, I... who are you exactly?"
"I'm Eva," the woman said, reaching out to shake his hand. He looked at her for a moment, but then shook her hand. He recoiled a little at how cold her hand was. She smirked a little. "I get that a lot. So here's the thing. You two can't go to the police. It will cause a panic. My colleagues and I will handle the girl."

Anna let him explain when Eva said they shouldn't go to the police Anna's mouth drops open. "Are you serious? H-his friend just got killed because they came to help me because I was attacked and it will cause panic. Are you crazy?" Anna then realizes it was her fault his friend was dead and she just stops talking

Eva looked at her. "I'm not crazy. I know what she is, and I think you two do too. Can you imagine the headlines if you two go to the police with this?"
"I don't give a fuck about headlines!" Ian said, getting angry. "My friend is dead!"
"And that will be taken care of."
"How?!"
"We will hunt down the girl, and destroy any evidence of the attack."
"What about his body?"
"It will disappear, and you will report him missing."
"I sure as hell won't!" Eva leaned forward with her hands on the table, and looked him in the eye.
"You will," she said, and smiled, showing him her fangs. His eyes widened and he backed up in his chair.

Anna seeing Ian angry made her upset. If he had not helped her his friend would be alive. When she saw Eva's fangs she went to Ian's side scared. But Anna wouldn't look at him

Ian took a shaking breath. "So you're saying you'll kill me if I don't?"
"Bingo." Ian took Anna's hand, frowning a little when he noticed she wasn't looking at him.
"...And what will you do with the girl once you capture her?"
"That's none of your business."

She was surprised when Ian took her hand. "Let's just listen to her nobody else needs to die today."
