She smiled and just stared into his eyes, realizing how nice they looked. She meant to look away but couldn't. She was blushing hard. She wanted to kiss him but she fought the urge to.
She smiled and just stared into his eyes, realizing how nice they looked. She meant to look away but couldn't. She was blushing hard. She wanted to kiss him but she fought the urge to.
He blushed as well when she did, and finally managed to force himself to look away. "U-Uhm... Yeah. So. I'll finish up the dishes and then we can go."
She looked away when he did. "O- Oh ok." She went to sit down and waited for him to finish up.
He mentally hit himself for his behaviour as he washed their plates and dried them. Then he put them back in the cupboard, and dried his hands. "All right. Are you ready?"
She waited patiently until he was done. She still wasn't one hundred percent sure where they were going. "I am ready." She stood up grabbed her stuff and smiled.
He smiled back and put on his jacket, grabbing his suitcase. "Let's just catch the first plane we can get, what do you say?"
"Sure. But where are we going though?" She was so confused. Now they were taking a plane. At least she would be away from the town.
He shrugged. "I don't know. Wherever the plane goes," he said with a grin, holding the door open for her.
She giggled. "Alrighty then." She walked out of the house and went to his car smiling.
They got into his car after he locked the door to his apartment. He started the engine and pulled out of the parking lot, taking a relieved breath. It would be great to get out of here, at least for a couple of days. As they drove, they passed the police station, and only moments later they passed Sarah. Her face was tear-streaked, and she was clearly hurrying towards the police. Ian slammed on the brakes and cursed.
"Did you see that? Tell me you saw that," he breathed.
