She just took in the sun and ran for the water. She didn't go in at all yet since she still had everything on her. She took a deep breath in and smiled.

Ian chuckled and caught up with her. "It's beautiful out here."
"it really is." She dropped her stuff and felt instantly insecure but she walked into the ocean and smiled letting the water hit her. It was kind of cold but kind of ignored it. She loved the feeling of water against her skin.
Ian took off the backpack and followed suit, shivering a little.
She went under and just swam. She went a decent distance and finally emerged from the water. She smiled.
Ian watched her, and smiled back when she popped back up a little ways away. He gave her a gentle wave, still only to his knees in the water.
"A-are you ok?" She felt bad. She was thinking of going back but stopped herself and just admired him from afar.
He chuckled. "Yeah. I'm just a bit of a wuss about the cold."
She giggled and swam towards him. She emerged through the water and splashed him playfully. She then pulled him into the water some more. She as giggling the entire time. "Welp, now you have me to deal with."
He cringed when she splashed him, and cried out briefly as she pulled him further into the water. The cry instantly turned into a laugh, however, and he made a half-assed attempt to resist her.
