She was laughing so hard. She ended up tripping backwards and still holding onto him and went under. She didn't register all the way that she hit her head.
He laughed and went down with her. He quickly regained his footing though, and pulled her back to the surface with him. "All right, all right! You got me."
She giggled but then got lightheaded. She tried to ignore it. She put her hand on her head where she felt a sharp pain. Her head really did hurt. "Oh I know I got you." she giggled a bit more.
He saw her move her hand, and frowned a little. "Are you okay?"
"Y-yeah, I will be fine." She kept her hand on her head, hoping once she took it off there would be no blood. She couldn't tell because her hair was wet anyways. She smiled, "Are you ok?"
"Will be?" he asked, ignoring her next question. He pulled her closer so he could take a look at her head.
She sighed and took her hand away seeing a little bit of blood but just shook it off. "I am fine." She made sure Ian didn't see her hand. She let him pull her closer. She liked him holding her, it was comforting.
He inspected her head, pushing some of her hair aside to get a better look. "You're bleeding," he said softly. "Do you feel dizzy at all?"
"Only a little but I am fine." She sighed.
"Come on, let's get you out of the water," he said, gently pulling her towards the beach.
