She hated that he was worried. "I'm ok, I swear." She didn't want to stop the fun.

He shook his head. "I'm sorry, I take head wounds very seriously." He got her out of the water and laid one of the towels down for her to sit on. "Do you feel nauseated?"
"W-Why do you take them seriously..?" She sat down. "I don't feel nauseated....I am fine." She said with exaggeration. She looked at Ian. "I am ok"
He looked at her, clearly conflicted. "...At least have some sugar," he said, reaching into his backpack. He pulled iout a candy bar abs handed it to her.
She sighed. "Fine." She reluctantly took the candy bar. She took a bite and sighed. She wanted to sink into the sand and disappear. She hated being taken care of especially with a small injury. She just didn't need vampires around.
Ian sat next to her, looking out at the ocean. "Just wait a few minutes. If you still feel fine, we'll go back to swimming."
She looked around hoping to see no one. She waited a few minutes more and stood up. She wanted to do something else but didn't say anything, She looked down at Ian smiled. "Thanks..."
He looked up at her, raising his eyebrows. "Do you feel okay?"
"I feel fine." She said. She sighed and looked down.
"You don't look the part," he said softly. "Come on, talk to me."
